Wazamonogatari: Karen Ouga Is the Next Monogatari Series Arc

The Monogatari Series is heading back into SHAFT territory this winter — and it’s Karen Araragi’s turn to step into the spotlight. Aniplex revealed on 2 July 2026 that the next arc under the Off & Monster Season umbrella will be Wazamonogatari: Karen Ouga (業物語 かれんオウガ), with winter 2026 confirmed as the broadcast window and both a first key visual and official PV released to mark the announcement.

What Wazamonogatari: Karen Ouga Is About

The title confirms what longtime fans have hoped for: an arc devoted entirely to Araragi Karen (阿良々木火憐), Koyomi’s hard-hitting younger sister and one half of the Fire Sisters duo. The story finds Karen in her first year of high school. Her karate master has recognised her exceptional strength — but rather than a promotion, Karen receives an order: solo mountain training across the Ōga Sanzan (逢我三山), a trio of peaks comprising Kikaiyama, Senbaridake, and Kachikachi-yama. The arc revolves around what waits for her at the other end of that ordeal.

The first key visual encapsulates the arc’s energy. Karen is shot from below, yellow track jacket billowing, lunging upward toward an outstretched hand — motion and momentum in every line. The tagline printed alongside her reads: 「青春は、登り続ける物語。」 — “Youth is a story of continuous climbing.” For a character defined by physical grit and relentless forward drive, that framing lands exactly right.

Off & Monster Season — The Ongoing Stage

Off & Monster Season is the umbrella season carrying the Monogatari Series forward after the main chapters of Final Season concluded. Production on this run was first announced in July 2025 (Japanese), and the season has been delivering self-contained arcs focused on supporting and peripheral characters rather than Koyomi taking centre stage — a format that gives the series room to explore its deep bench in depth. The arc immediately preceding Karen Ouga in the season is Aserollamonogatari: Bon Appétit (あせろらボナペティ), which is still running at the time of this announcement.

Wazamonogatari: Karen Ouga will follow in the same format — a focused arc, standalone enough to be accessible but deeply rewarding for anyone who has followed Karen since her Nisemonogatari and subsequent appearances.

The Production Team

The core creative pillars are firmly in place. NisiOisiN (西尾維新) provides the original novel — Wazamonogatari (Kodansha BOX) — with VOFAN continuing as the character design originator whose distinctive art has defined the series’ look since 2009. Overall direction remains with Shinbou Akiyuki (新房昭之), while Yoshizawa Midori (吉澤翠) serves as arc director. Series composition is shared between Higashitomi Ayako (東冨耶子) and Shinbou, with Watanabe Akio (渡辺明夫) handling character design adaptation and chief animation direction. SHAFT produces, as it has for every entry in the series since Bakemonogatari.

What Singapore Fans Should Know

A winter 2026 broadcast window in Japan typically means an October-to-December air date, placing Wazamonogatari: Karen Ouga just a few months away. Previous Off & Monster Season arcs have streamed internationally, with earlier Monogatari entries available through major platforms — streaming availability for this arc is to be confirmed closer to release, so keep an eye on official Aniplex and NisiOisiN Anime Project announcements. For now, the official X account (@nisioisin_anime) is your best source for real-time updates.

For Singapore fans who have been watching this franchise since the Bakemonogatari days, getting a Karen-centric arc — written by NisiOisiN, built by SHAFT, and arriving winter 2026 — is a significant step for a character who has always felt like she deserved more than a supporting role. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 — New Cast, New Story, Fall 2026 on Netflix

Night City doesn’t forget you — and Studio Trigger isn’t done with it either. Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 is officially coming to Netflix this Fall 2026, and the second teaser trailer that dropped on 29 June makes one thing clear: this is a wilder, darker ride than the first.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 | Official Teaser #2 — via Netflix on YouTube

A Standalone Story, Not a Sequel

This is not a continuation of David Martinez’s story. CD Projekt Red and Studio Trigger have been clear that Edgerunners 2 is a brand-new, self-contained 10-episode arc with a fresh cast of characters. The tagline says it all: “New Legends. Same Night City.” You don’t need to have seen Season 1 to jump in — though if you have, you’ll know exactly how unforgiving Night City can be.

The official description frames it as “a story of family, obsession, legacy — and how your lens reflects the stories of the people around you.” The trailer backs that up: a bone-deep grunge aesthetic, bursts of cyberware violence, and Rico Nasty’s “You Can’t Run From Me” driving it all forward.

Who’s Running Night City This Time?

Four characters anchor the new story, each coming at Night City from a completely different angle:

Weak — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 character art

Weak (voiced by Kentaro Tone) is a washed-up edgerunner legend — once the best, now living without chrome and searching for a sense of purpose in a city that has long since moved on without him.

D — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 character art
Image courtesy of CD Projekt Red / Studio Trigger

D (voiced by Koki Uchiyama) is a deadly nomad on a path of revenge for his clan, only to find himself knee-deep in corpo secrets that were never meant to surface.

Roman — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 character art
Image courtesy of CD Projekt Red / Studio Trigger

Roman (voiced by Momoka Terasawa) is a young cinephile hunting for stories in a city that replaced cinema with braindances — pointing a lens at the chaos around him instead of running from it.

Talia — Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 character art
Image courtesy of CD Projekt Red / Studio Trigger

Talia (voiced by Akari Kito) grew up corpo but got hardened by time running with the Maelstrom gang — someone who knows how to survive in a city that chews people up.

The Creative Team Bringing It Back

The original Edgerunners was directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi, and his absence here is worth noting — but the team stepping in is no less impressive. Kai Ikarashi takes the director’s chair; he previously worked as an animator on Trigger projects including Little Witch Academia and SSSS.Gridman, and this marks his biggest solo directing credit yet.

Hugo Award-winning writer Bartosz Sztybor returns as showrunner and lead story writer, joined by Masahiko Otsuka. Ichigo Kanno handles character design, with colour supervision by Yukiko Kakita. Studio Trigger is back in the animation seat.

An Anime Expo 2026 panel on 3 July will include the first episode screening for attendees and is expected to surface new details — including, possibly, a specific premiere date within the fall window.

Singapore Fans: Netflix, This Fall

Netflix Singapore carries the full Cyberpunk: Edgerunners catalogue, and Edgerunners 2 will land globally on the same platform with the same day-one access. No region delay, no import headache. If you haven’t caught Season 1 yet, it’s a tight ten-episode run that’s well worth clearing before fall. Check out more anime coverage on GameTrader while you wait.

PS Plus July 2026: CoD Modern Warfare III, For the King II and CrossCode Free From 7 July

PS Plus July 2026 brings three very different games to the Essential, Extra and Premium lineup — and at least one of them is a genuine hidden gem that Singapore gamers should not overlook. All three titles are available to download from 7 July through 3 August 2026 on PS5 and PS4, as announced on the PlayStation Blog.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III Cross-Gen Bundle

The headliner this month is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III’s Cross-Gen Bundle — available for both PS4 and PS5. The 2023 entry from Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games brought back 16 remastered multiplayer maps from the beloved 2011 original, a reworked open-world Zombies mode, and continued integration with the broader Call of Duty ecosystem including Warzone. If you want to catch up on the current storyline before the next major CoD release, getting in for free is the right time.

For the King II — bring three friends

IronOak Games’ turn-based roguelite RPG For the King II supports up to four players in online co-op. The sequel builds on the original with new map biomes, expanded character classes, and stronger online functionality. If you have a group that can coordinate a session, this one justifies itself immediately — it is the kind of game that plays best when someone is shouting about the wrong tactical decision from across a shared chat.

CrossCode — the indie RPG worth staying up for

CrossCode retro action RPG gameplay

CrossCode from Radical Fish Games is the quiet standout this month. A pixel-art action RPG that layers fast-paced twin-stick combat onto puzzle-heavy dungeons — all framed by a clever science-fiction MMO narrative — it offers anywhere from 30 to 80 hours of content depending on how deeply you explore. It has earned a devoted following since its 2018 launch and routinely surfaces in discussions about the best indie RPGs of the last decade. If it has been on your wishlist for years, this is the push to finally play it.

What to do before 7 July

Before this month’s games go live, check the PlayStation Blog post for the full list of titles rotating out of PS Plus this month. Adding any departing games to your library before 7 July locks them in for the duration of your active subscription — even if you play them later. PS Plus subscribers in Singapore can access all three new titles through the PlayStation Store on their PS5 or PS4.

The Magic Knights — Cast and Creative Team

The new series re-tells the story of three middle school girls — Hikaru Shidou, Umi Ryuuzaki, and Fuu Hououji — who are transported from Tokyo Tower to the magical world of Cephiro, tasked by the imprisoned Princess Emeraude with becoming the legendary Magic Knights. Behind the camera: director Yui Miura, series composition by Shigeru Murakoshi, character design by Satomi Watanabe, and music composed by Yuki Kajiura — whose credits include Puella Magi Madoka Magica, Fate/Zero, and Sword Art Online. Animation is handled by E&H Production under UNLIMITED PRODUCE by TMS, with CLAMP and Kodansha involved as IP holders.

New Cast Confirmed: Emeraude, Zagato and Mokona

  • Saori Hayami as Princess Emeraude — the captive ruler of Cephiro whose plea for help sets the entire story in motion
  • Yuki Ono as Zagato — Cephiro’s antagonist and the first arc’s central threat
  • Mika Kikuchi as Mokona — the beloved white magical guide who accompanies the Knights on their journey

Both Rie Takahashi and Saori Hayami will attend the Anime Expo premiere in person.

Suikoden’s First Mobile RPG Opens Pre-Registration — Star Leap Announced by KONAMI

Suikoden — KONAMI’s beloved RPG series built on assembling an enormous cast of recruitable characters — is making its first-ever leap onto smartphones. 幻想水滸伝 STAR LEAP (Genso Suikoden: Star Leap) opened pre-registration today, 1 July 2026, on the iOS App Store and Google Play, with a Steam PC version also listed as planned. The news broke via 4Gamer (Japanese) and Famitsu (Japanese) ahead of any English-language coverage.

What Is Suikoden Star Leap?

Set in the same universe as the mainline Suikoden entries, in year 453 of the solar calendar, Star Leap is a free-to-play RPG described by KONAMI as a journey of bonds and encounters (絆と出会う旅). Players guide a new protagonist through a story woven around the franchise’s signature themes of loyalty, sacrifice, and political intrigue. The visual style blends high-resolution 2D character art — illustrated in the moe-realism style that has become familiar in contemporary mobile JRPGs — with the series’ classic pixel-art RPG engine for the gameplay itself. The result looks like a love letter to the original SNES and PlayStation-era entries rather than a full 3D reimagining.

The 108 Stars of Destiny — and Alliance Combat

The franchise’s defining mechanic — assembling 108 recruitable characters, each aligned with one of the 108 Stars of Destiny from Chinese mythology — returns in Star Leap. KONAMI’s official livestream Suikoden Live vol.6, which aired on 1 July at 8 p.m. JST on the KONAMI official YouTube channel, introduced three characters from the game’s Ran-Rin-Ten (乱凛天) martial arts faction, with voice actresses Miki Sasaki, Aimi and Ayasa Ito appearing as guests to discuss their roles.

The combat system retains the turn-based RPG structure of the originals while adding mobile-friendly convenience options including speed controls (×1.5, ×2.0) and an Auto mode for grinding. Characters can unleash 奥義 (Ougi) — signature ultimate skills tied to each Star’s archetype, shown in the trailers as dramatic full-screen anime-style cutaway attacks.

The Battle Trailer shows the combat flow: pixel-art party members face off against enemies on a detailed 2D stage while the portrait of the active attacker dominates the left side of the screen. Ougi animations burst into full-bleed kanji-overlaid splash art — exactly the dramatic manga-panel-esque combat flair long-time Suikoden fans will recognise from the console entries.

Pre-Registration and What SG Fans Should Know

Pre-registration is live now on the Japanese App Store and Google Play, with a Steam version also confirmed to be in development. The game is free-to-play with in-app purchases. No release date has been announced as of today.

For Singapore and Southeast Asian players: no English localisation or non-Japanese regional release has been confirmed yet. Whether KONAMI plans a wider Asian rollout — with English, Traditional Chinese, or Simplified Chinese support — is unknown. Some KONAMI mobile titles launch globally from day one; others are Japan-exclusive for extended periods. Until KONAMI announces otherwise, treat this as a Japan-only pre-registration for now. Japanese-reading fans can search for 幻想水滸伝 STAR LEAP on their local App Store or Google Play to pre-register directly. We will update as an English release is confirmed. Follow our Japanese-source game news for updates as they come in.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced Drops July 9 — Built by Ubisoft Singapore

One week from now, a game built right here in Singapore drops on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced — the first true from-the-ground-up remake in Ubisoft history — is the work of Ubisoft Singapore, and it launches on 9 July 2026.

A Singapore Studio Takes the Helm

This isn’t a remaster handed to an external team. Ubisoft Singapore — the studio that has spent years building out Anvil engine’s water and naval systems across multiple Assassin’s Creed titles — pitched and led the entire project from day one.

Creative Director Paul Fu explained the logic in an interview with Game Informer: “Ubisoft Singapore not only has a history of working on water tech through Anvil, we have a history with naval gameplay and stuff, so when you put all those things together, it’s like, ‘Yeah, why not take a stab at it with Black Flag?’ It actually makes a lot of sense to try.”

Game Director Richard Knight echoed that sense of purpose: “With Black Flag Resynced, we set out to reconnect with the heart of Black Flag. From the start, the intention was clear: deliver a faithful and enriched experience,” as reported by MobileSyrup.

The remake runs on the same Anvil engine build used for Assassin’s Creed Shadows, with zero legacy code carried over from the 2013 original. Every system — combat, parkour, naval, AI — has been rebuilt from scratch.

Bigger Story, Bolder Characters

The core narrative of Edward Kenway’s Caribbean piracy is left intact, but Ubisoft Singapore has layered in new content for fan-favourite supporting cast. Original lead writer Darby McDevitt returned to pen two new scenes and revise an existing one, and new quest lines expand the stories of Blackbeard and Stede Bonnet — both of whom previously exited the narrative off-screen.

Lead Producer Justin Ng spoke to Press Start about the process: “The first thing we did was to ensure everything in the original was kept in terms of narrative. The story of Stede, Adéwalé, those things are basically one-to-one with the original. We worked together working out what more we could add to wrap up some of their stories, because some of the characters died off-screen or there were more things that we wanted to say.”

The modern-day Animus framing has also been reworked, replaced with “What If?” scenario rifts that keep players in the Caribbean without the tonal whiplash of the 2013 version. Ng added a candid note about the pressure of the project: “A joke I tell the team is that I used to have black hair and now it’s 50% white because of the stress.”

Gameplay Overhauls: Combat, Stealth, and Parkour

Nearly every mechanical system has been touched. Combat is faster and more fluid, with a new parry-and-riposte system and visceral takedown animations. Stealth benefits from a long-requested crouch-anywhere mechanic and a dive-anywhere option near water. The tailing and eavesdropping missions that punished players with instant-fail states in 2013 have been reworked — no more restarting a sequence because an NPC clipped through your route.

Parkour has new animations and smoother transitions, and Edward now has access to most of his action tools early in the game rather than gating them behind story progression. The full campaign is playable offline after download.

Naval Combat Evolved

This is where Ubisoft Singapore’s expertise shines hardest. The Jackdaw now comes with new officer companions, ship pets, and 10 new sea shanties on top of the original tracklist. Naval combat adds secondary weapons including shrapnel barrels and 8-pounders, and a dynamic weather system — fog banks, storms, shifting winds — affects both visibility and manoeuvring during engagements.

On the visual side, ray tracing and micropolygon rendering push the water, weather, and lighting to a level the original 2013 hardware could never have achieved. The PS5 version targets 60 FPS with ray tracing enabled; a PS5 Pro mode is also confirmed.

Editions, Pricing, and Where to Get It

Black Flag Resynced launches on 9 July 2026 in three editions:

  • Standard Edition — US$59.99 (digital & physical)
  • Deluxe Edition — US$69.99 (includes Blackbeard’s Crimson weapons and costume pack)
  • Collector’s Edition — US$199.99

The game is available on Steam, the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. It is also included with Ubisoft+ from day one. Regional pricing in SGD will vary by platform — check the PS Store or Steam’s Singapore storefront for local rates. Pre-ordering either digital edition unlocks the Blackbeard’s Crimson Pack at no extra cost.

For fans who have watched Singapore’s game development scene grow over the past decade, Black Flag Resynced is a milestone — a Singapore studio leading Ubisoft’s first-ever ground-up remake of a franchise flagship title. Whether you played the original or are coming in fresh, it’s one to watch when it hits your platform on 9 July. Find more upcoming game news here.

One Piece Season 3 Wraps Filming: The Battle of Alabasta Coming 2027

Netflix’s One Piece live-action series has officially wrapped production on its third season. Filming for ONE PIECE: The Battle of Alabasta concluded on 30 June 2026 after roughly seven months and more than 200 days on set in Cape Town, South Africa. A 2027 premiere on Netflix — available in Singapore and across Southeast Asia — has been confirmed.

The Alabasta Arc — Why This One Matters

For many longtime fans, the Alabasta arc is the point where One Piece stopped being a pirate adventure and became something larger. After agreeing to help Princess Vivi at the close of Season 2, Luffy and the Straw Hats sail to her desert kingdom to find it teetering on the edge of civil war — a conflict engineered in secret by Sir Crocodile (Joe Manganiello), one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea, and his criminal syndicate Baroque Works. It’s the arc that first put the crew through a genuinely impossible fight, introduced the series’ most heartfelt send-off moment, and set the template for every major arc that followed.

The Full Cast — Returning Crew and New Arrivals

The core Straw Hat crew returns intact: Iñaki Godoy as Monkey D. Luffy, Mackenyu as Zoro, Emily Rudd as Nami, Jacob Romero Gibson as Usopp and Taz Skylar as Sanji. Returning antagonists and supporting cast include Joe Manganiello as Sir Crocodile (Mr. 0), Lera Abova as Miss All Sunday, Charithra Chandran as Vivi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy as King Nefertari Cobra.

Four new characters fill out Season 3. Cole Escola joins as Bon Clay (Mr. 2), the Baroque Works agent who shape-shifts into anyone he touches and ends up being one of the arc’s most memorable presences despite fighting the crew. Xolo Maridueña takes on Portgas D. Ace, Luffy’s brother — a casting announcement that drew an outsized reaction from the fandom. Awdo Awdo plays Mr. 1 and Daisy Head plays Miss Doublefinger, the Baroque Works fighters who headline the arc’s climactic battles.

Season 3 began shooting in late November 2025 and ran for more than 200 days across Cape Town’s soundstages and location sets. The series is written and co-showrun by Joe Tracz and Ian Stokes, produced by Tomorrow Studios in partnership with Netflix and Shueisha. Netflix confirmed the wrap on 30 June 2026 alongside the first cast photo from the Alabasta set, showing the core crew in the desert environment that defines the arc.

When Singapore Fans Can Expect It

Netflix has confirmed a 2027 release window for ONE PIECE: The Battle of Alabasta, though no specific date has been set yet. Netflix is fully available in Singapore and across Southeast Asia — Season 2, Into the Grand Line, is already streaming if you need to catch up on where the Straw Hats left off. Invincible VS Season 1 Is Live: Universa and The Immortal Enter the Fight

Invincible VS has hit its first major milestone: Season 1 launched today (30 June 2026) for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, adding two new playable fighters, a fresh game mode, and a clear roadmap through to December. If you’ve been on the fence about Quarter Up’s 3-on-3 superhero brawler since it launched in late April, the roster is growing fast.

Season One Launch Trailer | Invincible VS — via Invincible VS on YouTube

Universa: The Boost Vampire

Universa gameplay in Invincible VS Season 1

Universa is a technical fighter built around resource theft. Her signature mechanic drains Boost gauge from opponents and redirects it to fuel her own offence — the more you siphon, the stronger her moves hit. She rewards patience and positional play, punishing opponents who overextend while banking their energy for her own burst windows.

The standout is her “Entropy” super: as Skybound noted in an Xbox Wire announcement, “one of our team’s favourite moves is her ‘Entropy’ super, which allows her to absorb incoming projectiles” and convert them directly into Boost. Against zoning-heavy teams, that kind of reversal can swing a round completely.

The Immortal: A Striker Who Won’t Stay Down

The Immortal character in Invincible VS

The Immortal is a rushdown Striker designed to close distance fast and attack from multiple angles. What separates him mechanically is a once-per-match revival: when he’s KO’d for the first time, he comes back in a berserk state with boosted speed and enhanced combo potential. Manage that revival timing well and you essentially force your opponent to kill the same character twice.

Both characters are available now as part of the Season 1 DLC pack or via the Year 1 Pass, which covers all four DLC fighters releasing across 2026.

Endless Arcade Mode

Invincible VS arena and gameplay

Season 1 also introduces Endless Arcade, a new mode that gives you structured challenges outside of competitive matches. It’s a welcome addition for players who want to grind mechanics and improve without jumping straight into ranked queues — and for newcomers still getting comfortable with the 3-on-3 tag format before going online.

What’s Still Coming: Angstrom Levy and Beyond

Invincible VS Year 1 content roadmap

The Season 1 launch also locked in the rest of the Year 1 roadmap. Angstrom Levy — the dimension-hopping villain from Robert Kirkman’s comic — is confirmed as the third DLC character, arriving in Season 2 in October alongside a new game mode and cosmetics. Season 3 follows in December with a fourth fighter and a brand-new arena.

For Singapore’s fighting game crowd, the competitive calendar looks healthy. Quarter Up brought playable character demos to EVO Las Vegas 2026 over the weekend, and with more tournament appearances planned, the game’s esports ambitions appear genuine beyond just content drops.

How to Get It

Invincible VS is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, priced at USD $39.99 for the base game on Steam. Singapore players can pick it up from their regional PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or Steam — check local storefronts for SGD pricing. Season 1 content is available separately or bundled in the Year 1 Pass. For more fighting game news, see our Game News archive.

EVO Singapore 2027 Confirmed at Marina Bay Sands in January

Fighting game fans in Singapore, mark your calendars right now. The Evolution Championship Series — the world’s longest-running and most prestigious fighting game tournament — is coming to Singapore for the very first time in January 2027, and it is bringing the Tekken World Tour Finals with it.

EVO Singapore 2027: January 15-17 at Marina Bay Sands

EVO General Manager Rick “The Hadou” Thiher confirmed the inaugural EVO Singapore 2027 from the main stage at EVO 2026 on June 28. The event is locked in for January 15-17, 2027 at Marina Bay Sands, making Singapore the first Southeast Asian city to host an official EVO event.

The announcement is part of a significant global expansion for EVO. In 2027 the organisation is rolling out regional events across five continents — Saudi Arabia, China, Morocco, Brazil and Mexico are also on the calendar — but Singapore is one of the first to have a confirmed date and venue. Locking in Marina Bay Sands immediately signals the scale EVO is aiming for here: MBS is one of Singapore’s premier convention and entertainment destinations, and has hosted major international esports and gaming events before.

Tekken World Tour 2026 Finals Run Concurrently — in Singapore

TEKKEN World Tour 2026 Global Finals Trailer — via Bandai Namco Esports on YouTube

The headliner alongside EVO Singapore is the Tekken World Tour 2026 Global Finals, running concurrently from January 14-17, 2027. This is the first time in the TWT’s history that the season-ending Finals — the event that crowns the world’s best Tekken player — will be held at an official EVO venue. Tekken 8 will have a major presence, and the Finals format guarantees the field will be the strongest possible: spots go to winners of the three Master+ events, the EWC 2026 champion, the top 16 players from the Global Leaderboard, the top 15 from Regional Leaderboards, and one Last Chance Qualifier slot.

Tekken has always had a massive following in Southeast Asia, and the prospect of watching the TWT Finals live at Marina Bay Sands — with the region’s own top players competing for a world title on home soil — is exactly the kind of moment the Singapore FGC scene has been waiting for.

What Games Will Be at EVO Singapore 2027?

EVO 2026 Las Vegas lineup featuring Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and more

EVO has not yet announced the full game lineup for the Singapore event. Tekken 8 is confirmed given the TWT Finals. Beyond that, EVO 2026 in Las Vegas featured Street Fighter 6, Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves, Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes, Granblue Fantasy Versus Rising and Rivals of Aether II — and some of those titles will almost certainly appear on the Singapore bracket too, though nothing is official yet.

EVO 2026 also packed in a run of Tekken 8 news SG fans should know about: Bob (the Onigiri Savior himself) joins as Season 3 DLC with early access from August 19 and general availability from August 24, 2026. There is plenty of reason to brush up on the game well before January.

Tickets, Registration and How to Stay Updated

Ticket sales and player registration details for EVO Singapore 2027 have not yet been released. The official site evosingapore.gg is live, and PlayStation Singapore’s EVO page is another place to watch for updates.
