Starting Monday 7 September, Simply Toys is transforming the Level 1 Atrium of City Square Mall (180 Kitchener Road) into Matsuri Square — a week-long Japanese festival pop-up centred on three hot anime franchises: Jujutsu Kaisen, Dandadan, and The Apothecary Diaries. Free entry, exclusive collectibles, and life-size character photo ops all in one place until 13 September.

JJK, Dandadan and Apothecary Diaries Photo Ops at City Square Mall

The centrepiece of Matsuri Square is a set of three larger-than-life character installations set up for photos — all free to use. Jujutsu Kaisen fans get to pose alongside Satoru Gojo; The Apothecary Diaries places you in the inner court beside Maomao; and Dandadan brings the supernatural in the form of Turbo Granny. All three photo ops are up for the full seven days, so weekday visits will be less crowded.

Collectibles and Limited-Time Special Buys

Simply Toys will stock exclusive merchandise, limited-time special buys, and fan-favourite collectibles throughout the event. Specific product lines and pricing have not been announced ahead of opening day — follow Simply Toys on Instagram (@simplytoyssg) for previews closer to the weekend.

Anime Earth Follows in Late September

Matsuri Square is part of City Square Mall’s PlayVerse: Shop, Play & Discover campaign, running from 4 September to 11 October 2026. Once Matsuri Square closes, the next pop-up is Anime Earth by Singapore Cosplay Club (28 September – 4 October) — an anime merchandise marketplace with works from emerging artists, themed booths, and interactive games.

Anime Earth splits across two atrium spaces. Atrium A runs festival-themed booths daily, with interactive game booths joining from Friday to Sunday (2–4 October). Atrium B hosts an exhibition by visual storytelling educator Takahan Tan — creator of the Takahan Toy Art Museum — from Monday to Thursday (28 September – 1 October), before emerging artists take over from Friday to Sunday. Free drawing workshops run on 3 and 4 October (2pm and 4pm sessions each day; registration required).

Five years of cursed energy, sorcerers, and unforgettable fights — and ANGEL CLOVER is marking Jujutsu Kaisen‘s TV anime anniversary the way watch fans appreciate most: with eight character-themed solar chronographs that wear the franchise’s world on their dials without screaming it.

The collection covers three arcs of the anime, with four models from the Shibuya Incident — Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, Nobara Kugisaki, and Kento Nanami — joined by two from the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie (Yuta Okkotsu and Toge Inumaki) and two from the Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc (Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru). Each design weaves the sorcerer’s cursed techniques, weapons, and personality into the dial layout and hand shapes without going the obvious route of slapping a character face on the dial. Nanami’s model, for instance, carries a subtle necktie pattern and a gold index at six o’clock — a nod to his infamous overtime rule. Itadori’s uses Black Flash motifs; Gojo’s light-blue dial holds sub-dials painted with Crimson and Azure, referencing his reversed cursed technique before the Hollow Purple lands.

The Build: Japanese Solar Movement, 10 ATM

Every model in the line runs a Japanese-made solar movement, which means no battery changes and power from any light source — a practical call for a daily-wear piece. The 40 mm stainless steel case is rated to 10 ATM water resistance, and the case back carries the 5th anniversary logo, the character’s name in English, and an engraved quote from the series. Each model is priced at ¥28,600 (tax included), and the full line-up is available via the official ANGEL CLOVER campaign page.

The Megumi Fushiguro model (JU40-FU) is one of the sharpest in the set — an all-black case with teal accents, a palm seal icon at the nine-o’clock position, and a cursed-spirit formation at three. The hands are shaped after a sword and demon-slaying motifs, visible only once you know to look for them.

The Gojo Satoru model (JU40-GO) is arguably the most striking: an ice-blue dial where the two main sub-dials are painted in deep red (Crimson) and deep blue (Azure) — the colour scheme of his reversed cursed technique before the two energies collide into Hollow Purple. The second hand carries the Hollow Purple motif. It is the kind of design that reads as a clean everyday watch to anyone unfamiliar with the series, and as a very deliberate reference to fans who are.

The Yuta Okkotsu model (JU40-OK, from Jujutsu Kaisen 0) uses a deep blue dial with a ring motif and a crystal at nine o’clock, with Rika’s icon at three and sword/sheath-shaped hands. It is the most cinematic-feeling piece in the collection, fitting for the movie character.

Pre-Orders and Where to Get Them in Singapore

Pre-orders for all eight models opened on 20 August 2026 via the ANGEL CLOVER online store and are also available through participating watch retailers in Japan. The official release date is 16 October 2026. There is no confirmed Singapore retail availability at this stage — these are Japan-market releases. Singapore fans looking to import can find individual models listed on international Japanese retail platforms such as Japan Select and IPPO Japan Watch, both of which ship internationally. Factor in import duties and shipping when working out landed cost from the base ¥28,600 price.

With JJK’s anime and exhibition calendar still running strong — the Final Exhibition in Shinjuku opens December 25 — the anniversary merch wave is only picking up. Jujutsu Kaisen Final Exhibition Arrives in Shinjuku Dec 25

The most anticipated stop on the Jujutsu Kaisen touring exhibition just got an opening date. Announced at Juju Fes 2026 in Yokohama over the weekend, the Gege Akutami “Jujutsu Kaisen” Final Exhibition (芥見下々「呪術廻戦」完結展) is heading to Shinjuku — the setting of the series’ climactic last battle — and it opens on 25 December 2026.

Why Shinjuku, and Why This Is the One to Visit

Shinjuku is where Gege Akutami’s manga ends. Yuji Itadori, Yuta Okkotsu, and the surviving sorcerers fought their final battle against Ryomen Sukuna in the streets of Shinjuku, and choosing it as the last venue of the exhibition tour is a deliberate closing of the circle. Akutami has drawn a brand-new illustration of Yuta and Rika specifically for this stop — the only new piece commissioned for Shinjuku — making this the most exclusive leg of the touring run.

The exhibition runs 25 December 2026 – 25 January 2027 at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Sankaku Hiroba, Tokyo. Hours are 10:00–20:00 (last entry 19:30). The venue closes on 1 January for New Year.

What the Jujutsu Kaisen Final Exhibition Shows

This is not a simple recap of the earlier touring venues. The Shinjuku edition will reveal the “deep layer” of the final arc — material that has not been on display anywhere else in the tour. Gege Akutami’s digital creation process will be presented with the author’s own commentary, giving fans a rare view of how the series was built and how its hidden threads were woven toward the ending.

The exhibition also traces JJK’s six-and-a-half-year journey from its 2018 debut in Weekly Shonen Jump through to the conclusion in September 2024. With the official exhibition site (Japanese) now live, the exhibition is being positioned as the definitive curtain call for one of the biggest manga of the 2020s.

Tickets at Shinjuku come bundled with an exclusive reservation item: the “Chapter 271 — From Now On” acrylic diorama, featuring Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and Nobara Kugisaki side by side. One diorama per ticket. The piece is a direct callback to the manga’s final chapter, and given how it depicts a trio that JJK readers know all too well was not guaranteed to stand together at the end, demand will be strong.

Practical Guide for Singapore Fans

The Shinjuku run falls squarely within Singapore’s year-end school holidays and the standard New Year travel window — a natural overlap for anyone already planning a Japan trip in December or January. A few things to sort out early:

  • Priority lottery for 25–27 December: Shonen Jump+ and Zebrac subscribers (Japanese digital apps for Weekly Shonen Jump) can enter a lottery for the opening three days. The lottery entry window is 5–18 October. If you have a Japanese subscription account, this is the fastest way to lock in those high-demand Christmas dates.
  • General tickets: Date-specific timed entry for all other dates will go on sale separately. Ticket pricing has not been confirmed yet — bookmark the official site and check back in October.
  • Getting there: Shinjuku Sumitomo Building is two to three minutes from Shinjuku Station’s west exit and is straightforward to reach from most central Tokyo hotels.
  • No virtual option: There is no online viewing or live-stream component announced. In-person attendance is the only way to see the Shinjuku-exclusive content and pick up the diorama.

JJK Season 4: Sukuna’s New Visual Drops at Juju Fes 2026

The King of Curses has something to say. At Juju Fes 2026 — the five-day fifth-anniversary celebration held 29–30 August at K-Arena Yokohama — MAPPA dropped a striking new teaser visual for Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4: The Culling Game Part 2, and Sukuna is front and centre, looking more ominous than ever.

What Juju Fes 2026 Revealed

The new super teaser visual was unveiled on 29 August as part of the anime’s 5th anniversary celebrations at K-Arena Yokohama. It is the first major visual update for Season 4 since the June 2026 teaser trailer that MAPPA released at their 15th anniversary lineup event.

The visual puts Ryomen Sukuna at the centre, depicted beneath dark, murky water, looking straight at the viewer while reaching one hand forward. The mood is far more sinister than a typical anniversary promo — he is almost entirely surrounded by darkness, with the title text for The Culling Game Part 2 framing the image.

Sukuna’s Quote and What It Teases

Accompanying the visual is a line from the King of Curses himself: “Do you remember? I told you that you’d get to see something interesting.”

For fans who have been watching since Season 1, this lands. After Sukuna’s extended silence following the Culling Game Part 1 — now available to Crunchyroll subscribers — the image strongly hints that the King of Curses is about to stop sitting out and start making things very bad for everyone. Part 2 of the Culling Game arc is where the fights reach their most brutal scale, and this visual sets the tone perfectly.

MAPPA confirmed the Season 4 team alongside the June 2026 teaser announcement. Takeru Sato — who served as assistant director on Season 3 — steps up as director, with Shota Goshozono continuing as chief director. Hiroshi Seko handles series composition, Yoshimasa Terui is on music, and the character design team includes Yosuke Yajima, Hiromi Niwa, and Sota Yamazaki.

No premiere date has been announced. Production is confirmed to be underway, and given the scale of what the Culling Game Part 2 adapts, it is safe to expect Season 4 to be a big one whenever it arrives.

A Collection Built Around Three Iconic JJK Arcs

Rather than plastering character faces on generic tees, Graniph built this collection around specific story arcs — each with its own palette and mood.

The Hidden Inventory / Premature Death arc gets what may be the standout piece: a washed grey cardigan with young Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru embroidered on the chest, the lining printed with scenes from their sorcerer school days. Jujutsu Kaisen’s five-year anime anniversary is being celebrated in style across Yokohama this August — a city-wide collab at three iconic waterfront venues runs until 31 August, and the whole month culminates in Juju Fes 2026 -5th Anniversary-, a two-day live event at K-Arena Yokohama on 29 and 30 August.

Yokohama Goes Jujutsu for August 2026

The collaboration spans three of Yokohama’s most recognisable waterfront landmarks: Yokohama Cosmo World, the Yokohama Air Cabin aerial gondola, and Yokohama Marine Tower. All three venues have been dressed in newly commissioned 5th-anniversary artwork since the collab opened on 1 August, and large-scale photo installations with the distinctive magic-hour anniversary visuals were added from 15 August.

Entry to Cosmo World is free — individual rides and attractions are charged separately. Inside, fans can take part in a stamp rally spanning multiple locations within the park, play carnival games featuring newly recorded JJK character voice lines, and shop at a limited-time collaboration store with exclusive merchandise, themed drinks and food. Items sell out fast on opening days; weekday visits offer better availability.

The Cosmo Clock 21 — Yokohama’s 112-metre Ferris wheel visible from across the bay — is also part of the activation, projected with JJK imagery for a striking night-time display. The full Yokohama City collaboration is an official tourism initiative by the Yokohama Convention & Visitors Bureau (Japanese), making it one of the most ambitious JJK event partnerships to date.

The month-long celebrations close with Juju Fes 2026 -5th Anniversary- (official site, Japanese) at K-Arena Yokohama on 29 and 30 August. Per the official announcement, each day runs a live dubbing stage where the voice cast performs scenes from the anime live on stage, a special band performs the JJK soundtrack live, and the series’ opening and ending theme artists take the stage for full performances. Based on previous Juju Fes events, major franchise announcements — new season details, merchandise reveals, or project teases — typically land here too.

No tickets, no queue ballots, just walk in.

What Is JUJUTSU KAISEN WORLD?

Bandai Namco’s multi-city experiential event marks the franchise’s 5th anniversary — a milestone the JJK team is marking in style, considering the manga has now shipped over 150 million copies worldwide. The event covers the anime from Season 1 through to the second season’s Shibuya Incident arc, bringing key moments and characters to life across one immersive floor inside the Bandai Namco Cross Store. After Tokyo the tour moves to Osaka, Hakata and Yokohama, with dates for those cities still to be confirmed.

For Singapore fans who caught Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3: The Culling Game on Netflix last month, this is the perfect bridge event while the fandom waits for what comes next.

Jujutsu High Trial Enrollment — The Main Attraction

The centrepiece is 呪術高専体験入学 ～呪霊討祓任務への挑戦～ (“Jujutsu High Trial Enrollment: Challenge to Curse Exorcism Mission”) — an interactive attraction where visitors take on a curse extermination mission alongside Itadori, Nanami and Gojo. The experience issues a performance report on completion, so bring your best cursed energy. Last admission for the attraction is 19:30.

Three Mini-Games, All With Guaranteed Prizes

After the attraction, three character-themed mini-games award prizes including acrylic stands, posters and stickers:

The goods lineup features original artwork commissioned specifically for JUJUTSU KAISEN WORLD, illustrated by Tomoya Mizoguchi. The range covers can badges, clear cards, acrylic stands and a particularly tempting Prison Realm cookie box. There are also items drawing on the Hidden Inventory arc and the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film — so completionists will have plenty to hunt through.

On the food side, tenant restaurants serve dishes themed on characters and story arcs, with a bonus illustration sheet included with each food order (excluding some beverages and soft serve). The panda curry is already getting attention online. The cafe corner closes its kitchen at 19:30.

The Tokyo stop is at Bandai Namco Cross Store Tokyo, 3F, Sunshine City World Import Mart Building, 3-1-3 Higashi-Ikebukuro, Toshima-ku. The venue sits a short walk from Higashi-Ikebukuro Station (Toden Arakawa Line / Yūrakuchō Line), or a two-minute bus ride to Sunshine City Prince Hotel from Ikebukuro Station west exit.

Hours are 10:00 to 20:00 daily (including public holidays), from 7 August through 27 September 2026. The Culling Game: What This Arc Is About

The Culling Game arc is what everything in Jujutsu Kaisen has been building toward. Following the chaos of the Shibuya Incident and the sealing of Satoru Gojo inside the Prison Realm, Kenjaku’s master plan snaps into focus: a death tournament — the Culling Game — forcing sorcerers and newly awakened Cursed Energy users to kill inside barrier-sealed colonies spread across Japan. Leave without enough points, and the barrier kills you. Stop fighting, and your rivals close the gap.

Yuji Itadori enters this arc as a wanted man with no mentor, no institutional backing, and a dwindling number of allies who are still willing to be seen with him. Joining him are characters introduced in Season 2 — Yuta Okkotsu and Choso — alongside several new faces who quickly become the season’s biggest draws.

What’s New on Singapore Netflix from 22 July

Singapore Netflix has carried The Culling Game Part 1 in its catalogue since the season was airing earlier this year — so if you started watching in Japanese with subtitles, you already had access. What changes on 22 July is the multilingual track rollout: Netflix Anime confirmed via their official account that the global expansion brings dubbed versions to all regions simultaneously. English dub, alongside a range of other language tracks, is now live.

For Singapore households where not everyone in the room reads subtitles fast enough, that is a meaningful upgrade. All 12 episodes are available in one batch — no week-by-week wait.

If you prefer Crunchyroll — which has carried Part 1 since JJK began its simulcast on 9 January 2026 — nothing changes there. Both platforms carry the season; Netflix just makes the dub easy to access for subscribers who have not crossed over.

New Characters to Watch

Season 3 introduces several Culling Game players who quickly overshadow the expectation that this is just a bracket tournament full of disposable antagonists. The four standouts:

  • Kinji Hakari — a disgraced Jujutsu High student whose Cursed Technique ties his combat ability to a pachinko jackpot. When the jackpot hits, he becomes effectively immortal. His colony fight is one of the season’s peak episodes.
  • Kirara Hoshi — Hakari’s manager and a sorcerer whose technique manipulates proximity and positions in ways that make conventional attack patterns useless.
  • Hiromi Higuruma — a defence lawyer who awakened his Cursed Technique and set up a courtroom inside a colony. His Judgeman domain is the season’s most conceptually original fight.
  • Fumihiko Takaba — a comedian whose technique may be the single most absurd power in the franchise. His episode is the tonal wildcard of the season.

Season 4 — The Culling Game Part 2 — Is Confirmed for 2027

The Culling Game does not resolve in Part 1. Season 3 ends at a point that leaves the central rescue mission incomplete and the wider situation more fragile than when it began. Part 2 — effectively Season 4 — has been officially confirmed with a worldwide Crunchyroll release targeted for 2027. No specific date has been announced.

With Gege Akutami’s manga having concluded in September 2024, MAPPA is adapting a complete story with a definitive ending — no open threads, no indefinite hiatuses. Watching Part 1 now gives you a full picture of the pieces in play before the final run.

Jujutsu Kaisen × Monster Strike Collab 3 Is Live — Gojo and Itadori Finally Ascend

Jujutsu Kaisen’s biggest Monster Strike moment yet is live. Gojo Satoru, Yuji Itadori, and Kento Nanami have received their first-ever True Divine Evolution forms — the game’s highest upgrade tier — while five brand-new characters make their gacha debut. Monster Strike’s third Jujutsu Kaisen collaboration started today at noon JST, and it’s the most substantial of the three events so far.

Wave 1 Fan Favourites Finally Get Their True Divine Evolution

The headline act is what long-time MonSt JJK players have been waiting for. Three characters from the original collaboration are receiving True Divine Evolution (真獣神化), Monster Strike’s top-tier upgrade: Gojo Satoru (Dark attribute, ★6), Yuji Itadori (Fire, ★6), and Kento Nanami (Light, ★6) all ascend to their definitive in-game forms with completely new ability sets. If you’ve held onto these units through two previous collaborations, that patience just paid off in a big way.

Five New Characters Join in Wave 3

Wave 3 adds more new characters than either previous collab. Leading the limited gacha are three ★6 units: Yuta Okkotsu (Water) — the lead protagonist of the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 prequel and among the most-requested Monster Strike additions — Choso (Wood), and Maki Zenin (Dark). Panda and Takaba Haruaki also join as additional gacha units. For Singapore fans who caught the Jujutsu Kaisen 0 film, seeing Yuta finally enter the Monster Strike roster is a long-overdue arrival.

Wave 2 Characters Get Their Upgrades Too

The collab doesn’t leave Wave 2 players behind. Nobara Kugisaki, Megumi Fushiguro, and Mei Mei all unlock Beast God Evolution Kai (獣神化・改) — one step below True Divine Evolution — boosting their stats ahead of the new Wave 3 challenge quests. If you skipped the previous event, Wave 2 characters are also available to pull again during this period.

Event Schedule, Missions, and Playing from Singapore

The Collab 3 gacha and collaboration quests — five stages ranging from ★5 to ★6 — run until 11:59 JST on 2 August 2026. A daily Shibuya Incident Mission continues until 5 August, awarding 20 points per day redeemable for characters, stamps, and voice sets. Login stamps through the event distribute True Beast Soul materials (needed for the new True Divine Evolutions) daily, so logging in consistently pays off.

Monster Strike is a Japan-primary title — Singapore players who run the game on a Japanese App Store account can access this event in full. MIXI opened a Web Shop pre-sale at midnight JST, twelve hours before the in-app gacha launched, offering 30 total pulls across three 10-pull sets for ¥7,800 (around S$72). The Web Shop also lets you pull on all three collab gacha batches — Wave 1, Wave 2, and Wave 3 — at the same time.
