Virtua Fighter Crossroads: First New VF in 20 Years, Made by the Yakuza Team

Virtua Fighter is back. Twenty years after VF5 launched in arcades, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio — the team behind Like a Dragon — has announced Virtua Fighter Crossroads, a new mainline entry for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, set for 2027. This is the first genuinely new mainline Virtua Fighter since 2006, and it looks like no one has forgotten how to build a fighter.

What Is Virtua Fighter Crossroads?

Developed by Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and published by SEGA, Crossroads was first revealed at Summer Game Fest 2026 and showcased further at EVO 2026 this week. It is a ground-up new entry — not a remaster, not a re-release — with a confirmed 2027 launch window on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam.

The game merges traditional 3D Virtua Fighter combat with a full narrative adventure campaign built along the lines of RGG’s Like a Dragon titles. SEGA describes it as “a narrative adventure that transcends the boundaries of fighting games,” and from the content shown so far, that is not marketing hyperbole: Crossroads features chapters with completion tracking, side quests, multiple protagonists with interlocking stories, and a richly detailed open city to move through.

Meet Cielo — and the New and Returning Fighters

Cielo is the game’s new protagonist: a Paraguayan-American underground MMA fighter who calls the walled city of Villaspara home. He enters the Vila Fight Fest after refusing to throw a match, and his story spirals from there. His moveset is MMA/Balanced — a grounded, read-heavy style that fits squarely into VF’s design philosophy of clean, style-pure combat.

Alongside Cielo is Stella, an American kickboxer, among other new characters yet to be revealed. Returning veterans Akira Yuki, Pai Chan and Wolf Hawkfield confirm that the series’ iconic cast has not been replaced, only expanded. The creative team behind the narrative is formidable: scenario writing draws on Shinji Yamamoto (Persona 5 Royal), direction from Takeshi Furuta (Yakuza series) and world-building by screenwriter Brad Kane, who was lead writer on Ghost of Tsushima.

Villaspara Looks Like Somewhere You Know

Virtua Fighter Crossroads is set in Villaspara, a fictional walled city in Southeast Asia divided into a city centre, entertainment district and resort area. The environments shown so far — a sun-lit street market dense with local goods, a gritty underground fight corridor opening onto an arena — are assembled from the visual language of the region in a way that will feel immediately recognisable to players across Singapore and SEA.

This is not a generic pan-Asian backdrop. RGG Studio built Kamurocho over the course of two decades, and that same obsessive environmental detail is visible in every Crossroads screenshot. Villaspara is a city you want to walk through, which is exactly what the narrative mode asks you to do.

Story Mode, Side Quests and the Like a Dragon Blueprint

The story campaign is structured in chapters with completion percentages and branching side objectives — exactly the loop RGG has refined across every Like a Dragon entry. Chapter missions carry names like “Vila Fight Fest: Round One” and “Glad Tidings of Betrayal,” pointing toward an underground fighting circuit narrative with political undercurrents. Supporting characters have their own dedicated side quests tracked alongside the main story.

Crossroads also supports fully competitive online versus play for players who want to skip the story and go straight to ranked matches. Both modes appear to run off the same underlying fighting system, so every hour spent in the campaign builds the muscle memory that transfers to competitive play.

Platforms, Release Window and What Singapore Players Need to Know

Virtua Fighter Crossroads launches in 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam. No exact date has been announced, and no Nintendo Switch 2 version has been confirmed as of this writing.

Singapore players will access it through the PlayStation Store or Steam. No SGD pricing has been announced yet. Given RGG’s track record on Like a Dragon titles — which have consistently released simultaneously worldwide — a global day-one launch is the expected outcome, though SEGA has not confirmed regional release timing.

The franchise returning after two decades is significant in itself, but the choice of developer matters more: Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio knows how to build a game that makes you care about the world and the people in it before the fights even begin. Keep an eye on the latest game news as we get closer to 2027 and SEGA reveals more of the roster and story.

TEKKEN! CARTOON Revealed at EVO 2026 — Chibi Kuma Is Here

Bandai Namco dropped a surprise at EVO 2026 last night: TEKKEN! CARTOON, a brand-new animated project that trades the franchise’s signature grittiness for chibi versions of Kuma, Kazuya, and the rest of the gang. The official teaser is out now — and it looks nothing like what most Tekken fans expected.

TEKKEN! CARTOON Official Teaser Trailer — via Bandai Namco Entertainment America on YouTube

What Is TEKKEN! CARTOON?

Revealed at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas on 26 June 2026, TEKKEN! CARTOON is a newly announced animated project from Bandai Namco Entertainment. The teaser puts familiar faces — Kuma the bear, the masked warrior Yoshimitsu, android Alisa, martial artist Paul Phoenix, and the perennial villain Kazuya Mishima — in a superdeformed, brightly coloured style that leans hard into comedy.

The chibi TEKKEN! CARTOON game case shelved beside real TEKKEN 8 cases in the EVO 2026 teaser
Still from the official TEKKEN! CARTOON teaser — Bandai Namco Entertainment

It’s a sharp change of direction from Tekken: Bloodlines, the 2022 Netflix anime that adapted the story of Tekken 3 with a dark, dramatic edge. TEKKEN! CARTOON is pointing in the opposite direction entirely — think animated shorts in the vein of game-studio chibi spinoffs, rather than a prestige series. Given how distinctive the Tekken cast is across three decades of games, there’s a lot of comedic mileage in that aesthetic.

Who’s Making It?

Bandai Namco has assembled a dedicated team for the project:

  • Director: Sohta Ozawa (NERD studio)
  • Character Designer & Animator: Amehiro
  • Director of Photography: Yuta Kakei
  • Creative Directors/Planners: Syohei Hashimoto and Hironori Hasegawa
  • Brand Supervisor: TEKKEN Project

Amehiro handling both character design and animation suggests a tight, focused production rather than a large-scale studio effort. The superdeformed style plays to each character’s strengths: Kuma’s sheer bulk, Yoshimitsu’s erratic energy, and Kazuya’s perpetual scowl all translate naturally into visual comedy. Whether this expands into a full series or stays as a run of animated shorts is still to be announced.

Release Date and Platform: Nothing Confirmed Yet

As of the EVO 2026 announcement, there is no confirmed release date, platform, or distribution partner. As reported by Push Square, Bandai Namco’s official statement reads: “Your favourite #TEKKEN characters are coming out of the ring and into the cartoon world. Keep an eye on our socials for more news about the TEKKEN! CARTOON.”

More details are expected at upcoming events later in 2026. For now, Bandai Namco’s official social channels are the best place to watch for updates.

Tekken in Singapore — A Ready-Made Audience

Tekken 8 has been a staple of Singapore’s local FGC scene since launch, with a dedicated player base spanning community meetups and competitive online play. The timing of the reveal — right in the middle of EVO 2026, where Tekken 8 is one of the main featured titles — puts it in front of the global fighting game community at peak attention.

After Tekken: Bloodlines found an audience on Netflix, there is a reasonable precedent for Bandai Namco’s Tekken animated content reaching streaming platforms that are accessible here. Nothing is confirmed — but when more details drop, we’ll have them. Watch this space.

Avatar Legends Fighting Game: July 23 Launch — Full Roster, DLC Reveal at EVO Tonight

The wait is nearly over for fans of both bending and button-mashing. Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game — developed by Gameplay Group International and published by PM Studios in collaboration with Paramount, Skydance, and Avatar Studios — has locked in a July 23, 2026 release date for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. And tonight at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas (that’s 10 AM SGT this Saturday morning), the first Year One DLC character drops.

Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game Announcement Trailer — via AvatarFighters on YouTube

What Is Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game?

This is a fast-paced 1v1 fighting game built by veterans behind Killer Instinct and Them’s Fightin’ Herds, which immediately says something about the competitive pedigree on the table. The game covers both animated series — Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra — and its 12-character launch roster reflects that: Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, Sokka, Azula, Zaheer, Fire Lord Ozai, Kyoshi, Avatar State Aang, and Avatar State Korra.

Visually, the team went for hand-drawn 2D animation faithful to the source material rather than a 3D fighter approach, and on the technical side there is proprietary rollback netcode and full cross-play across platforms — both non-negotiables for a game looking to build a serious online scene.

Pricing, Platforms, and the Pre-Order Beta

On July 23, the game launches on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam) at USD$29.99. A Deluxe Edition at USD$49.99 bundles the Year One Pass — five additional characters released over the first year — along with a digital soundtrack and digital artbook. Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions are confirmed but are arriving at a later, as-yet unannounced date.

If you want to get in early, pre-ordering on PS5, Xbox, or PC unlocks access to a closed beta running July 2–5, letting you test online play and the full launch roster before the game goes live. Singapore players can pre-order digitally on the PS Store or Steam right now.

Year One DLC — Who’s Getting Added to the Roster?

The EVO 2026 panel for Avatar Legends kicks off at 7 PM PDT tonight (10 AM SGT, Saturday 27 June) with the big reveal: the identity of the first Year One DLC character. The studio is also unveiling the candidates for the second DLC slot, with pre-order buyers getting to vote and shape the roster. If you want to watch it live, the panel airs on the official EVO Twitch channel.

Five additional characters are planned across the Year One Pass, and given how deep both Avatar series run in terms of fan favourites, the speculation threads are running hot. The candidates set to be announced tonight should give the community plenty to argue about between now and launch.

Singapore Access and What to Know

Singapore is covered on both the PS Store and Steam, so digital pre-orders are straightforward. The USD$29.99 entry price translates to a reasonably accessible buy-in at the Singapore PlayStation Store (expect regional pricing to apply — check the SG PS Store or Steam listing for the local price before purchase). The game supports cross-play, so whether you are on PS5 or PC, you will be matched into the same online pool.

Avatar fans in Singapore have been waiting a long time for a proper competitive fighter from this universe, and from what the trailer shows, Gameplay Group International clearly understands both the franchise and the genre. Keep an eye on our game news section for the DLC character reveal recap once tonight’s EVO panel wraps.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls — SGD Prices, Full Roster and EVO 2026

EVO 2026 is live in Las Vegas this weekend (June 26–28), and one of the most anticipated fighting games of the year has a spot at the Showcase Stage: MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls, the 4v4 tag-team fighter from Arc System Works and PlayStation Studios. It drops on PS5 and PC on August 6, and PlayStation SEA has locked in official Singapore pricing.

MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls | Announce Trailer — via Marvel Entertainment on YouTube

A 4v4 Marvel Fighter Built by the Guilty Gear Team

At the wheel is Arc System Works — the Yokohama studio behind Guilty Gear Strive, BlazBlue: Central Fiction and Dragon Ball FighterZ — which means Tōkon arrives with serious fighting-game DNA. Published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, it runs on Unreal Engine 5 and is built around the PS5’s DualSense controller, with haptic feedback and Tempest 3D audio woven into the experience.

The format is a distinctive 4v4 tag team system: you start with a primary fighter and one assist, then unlock the rest of your lineup mid-match by hitting conditions like damage thresholds. It layers a build-up strategy over the brawling that goes beyond a straight character swap.

Beyond the fights there is a full Episode Mode — roughly 10 hours of motion-comic storytelling illustrated by manga artists, with voice acting across 10 languages. It doubles as a crash course in Marvel lore for anyone not steeped in the comics.

17 Characters Confirmed Across Four Teams — Three Slots Still Open

The base roster lands at 20 fighters split across five teams. Four teams are now fully confirmed:

  • Amazing Guardians: Spider-Man, Ms. Marvel, Star-Lord, Peni Parker
  • Fighting Avengers: Captain America, Iron Man, Black Panther (Shuri), Hulk
  • Knights of Doom: Doctor Doom, Magneto, Green Goblin, Carnage
  • Unbreakable X-Men: Storm, Wolverine, Magik, Danger

The fifth team has one confirmed member — Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes) — with three roster spots still open. All three are widely expected to be revealed at EVO 2026 this weekend before the August 6 launch.

What’s Happening at EVO 2026 This Weekend

Arc System Works is running a pre-release tournament at the EVO Showcase Stage in Las Vegas, giving players competitive hands-on time with the full build six weeks before launch. Saturday and Sunday will bring the main competitive brackets across the event’s full game lineup, so the next few days are worth watching even if you are following from Singapore. The official EVO Showcase page has the live stream details.

Singapore Price and Pre-Order Bonuses

PlayStation SEA has confirmed three editions for the August 6 launch:

  • Standard Edition: SGD 79.90
  • Digital Deluxe Edition: SGD 113.90 — includes the Year 1 pass (four additional characters and one stage) plus cosmetics
  • Ultimate Edition: SGD 139 — Deluxe content plus costumes for Storm, Captain America, Doctor Doom, Iron Man and Spider-Man, and character colour unlocks

Pre-orders are open now on the PlayStation Store and participating PC storefronts. Pre-ordering any edition gets you the Infinity Gauntlet lobby equipment, a Baby Groot lobby pet and the Cosmic Surfboard lobby ride. The game releases on August 6, 2026 (August 7 in Japan and Australia).

The Year 1 pass inside the Deluxe and Ultimate editions is worth flagging — four extra characters and a stage suggests Arc System Works has a substantial post-launch content plan lined up alongside whatever gets revealed at EVO this weekend. Full details at the PlayStation SEA blog.

You Are Already Dead: Kenshiro Hits Fatal Fury This June

The post-apocalyptic heir to Hokuto Shinken is heading to South Town. SNK has confirmed Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star as the sixth and final DLC character in Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves‘ Season Pass 2, launching sometime this month — and EVO 2026, which kicked off today in Las Vegas, is your first chance to play him.

The Kenshiro Fatal Fury Crossover: Why This Pairing Makes Sense

For anyone who grew up watching anime in Singapore in the late 80s and 90s — or encountered the countless memes that followed — Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star (北斗の拳) needs no introduction. He is the protagonist of Tetsuo Hara and Buronson’s seminal post-apocalyptic manga, which ran in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 1983 to 1988 and was adapted into a landmark 1984 anime series. His lethal martial art Hokuto Shinken — targeting pressure points to destroy opponents from the inside — gave the world one of the most quoted anime lines of all time.

SNK’s decision to cross him over into Fatal Fury is not random: both franchises are rooted in the same era of Japanese action culture, and the timing is deliberate. As SNK states in the official announcement, his arrival “coincides with the all-new Fist of the North Star: HOKUTO NO KEN anime, currently airing in Japan and around the world” — the 2026 remake series that premiered on Amazon Prime Video on April 11 and is now running globally.

How Kenshiro Plays in City of the Wolves

SNK describes Kenshiro’s kit as focused on “fast and formidable strikes, channelling point activations and status changes, and impressive combo options.” The character trailer shows a close-range, high-pressure playstyle — rapid blitz combos with body-implosion finishers that are faithful to the source material. He is voiced by Shunsuke Takeuchi in Japanese and Clayton Alexander in English.

Kenshiro is the sixth and final character in Season Pass 2, joining Kim Jae Hoon, Nightmare Geese, Blue Mary, Wolfgang Krauser, and Mr. Karate. Season Pass 2 is available standalone for US$19.99. The Legend Edition — which bundles the base game with both Season Passes 1 and 2 — is currently discounted on Steam until July 9. Check the Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves Steam page for current SGD pricing. The game is also on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S.

Demo Live at EVO 2026 This Weekend

EVO 2026 is running June 26–28 in Las Vegas, and Kenshiro is available on the showfloor as a playable hands-on preview. SNK has confirmed his full launch for “June 2026” without locking a specific date — with EVO underway and the demo already live, a shadow drop during the event window is looking very likely.

Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves is in the main EVO 2026 bracket alongside Street Fighter 6, Tekken 8, Guilty Gear Strive, and eleven other titles. For Singapore FGC players watching from home, the pools and Showcase streams are free on EVO’s official Twitch and YouTube channels. Evening sessions in Las Vegas (PDT) land in the early morning hours SGT — PDT + 15 hours — so plan accordingly. Find more fighting game and gaming news on GameTrader.SG.

Invincible VS Season 1 Launches 30 June — Universa and The Immortal Join the Fight

Invincible VS is about to get a whole lot bigger. Skybound Games and developer Quarter Up have confirmed that Season 1 kicks off on 30 June 2026, bringing two new DLC fighters to the fighting game based on Amazon Prime Video’s Invincible series — the cosmic warrior Universa and the virtually unkillable Immortal. Both characters are already playable at the EVO 2026 show floor in Las Vegas this weekend, ahead of their official 30 June release.

Universa: The Cosmic Powerhouse With a Stolen Edge

Universa is the last hope of her home planet and wields the Staff of Leadership — a weapon that doubles as a conductor for her electricity-based attacks. Her kit is built around momentum and resource control: her Boost Meter charges as she lands hits, but she can also siphon Boost energy directly from her opponent, weakening them while she grows stronger. Quarter Up describes her as a “highly technical” fighter who rewards patient, space-controlling play before unleashing her Max Boost Specials at peak power. Her signature Entropy super absorbs incoming projectiles and converts them into Boost gauge — turning her opponent’s long-range game against them.

The Immortal: He Has Died Before. It Did Not Help.

If Universa is about patience and resource management, The Immortal is the opposite: a relentless Striker Fighter who wants to close distance and never let up. His Install Super boosts speed and combo potential mid-match, but his defining feature is a Revive mechanic — once per match, after being knocked out, he comes back angrier and more dangerous, channelling thousands of years of accumulated grudges into a berserk comeback state. Given that his whole backstory in the Invincible comics and show revolves around being killed and resurrected repeatedly, the mechanic is as lore-accurate as fighting game DLC gets.

Season 1 Also Adds Endless Arcade Mode

Beyond the two new fighters, Season 1 introduces Endless Arcade mode — a PVE format with escalating challenges — alongside fresh cosmetic drops. It expands on The Climb mode that launched earlier in June, giving solo players even more to do between ranked sets.

Try Both at EVO 2026 in Las Vegas Right Now

EVO 2026 in Las Vegas (26–28 June) is the first place to get hands-on with Universa and The Immortal before they go live. The Quarter Up booth is running playable demos all weekend, and the EVO Invincible VS tournament winner takes home a life-sized Conquest Gauntlet trophy. Singapore gamers following from home can catch the action on the official EVO stream, with Twitch Drops active during the broadcast — meaning you can earn in-game rewards just by watching.

The 2026 Season Roadmap: Three Waves of New Content

Invincible VS 2026 Season Roadmap — Season 1, 2, and 3

Quarter Up has mapped out the full content plan for the rest of 2026:

  • Season 1 (30 June): Universa + The Immortal, Endless Arcade mode, new cosmetics
  • Season 2 (October): One new fighter, a new game mode, cosmetics
  • Season 3 (December): One new fighter, a brand-new arena, cosmetics

The game launched on 30 April 2026 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Steam with a solid base roster, and the pace of post-launch content looks healthy going into the back half of the year.

How to Get In

Invincible VS is available now on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The base game is priced at USD $49.99 — check the PlayStation Store or Steam in Singapore for the converted SGD price. Universa and The Immortal are included in the Year 1 Character Pass, which also covers the fighters in Seasons 2 and 3. For more fighting game and game industry news, head to our Game News section.

Confirmed Announcements to Watch For

Publishers regularly bank their biggest DLC and new-character reveals at EVO for maximum audience. This year, several are already locked in.

BlazBlue: Central Fiction — First New Character in Nine Years

BlazBlue: Central Fiction‘s first new playable character since 2017 has been confirmed for a reveal at EVO 2026. Nine years between new characters in any fighting game is a long time; for the BlazBlue community this is genuinely historic. Who it is and when they drop: we find out this weekend.

Guilty Gear -Strive- — Robo-Ky Incoming

Arc System Works will premiere the Robo-Ky gameplay trailer at EVO 2026 as part of the Blazing Pass Duel 2 update (Ennui Protocol), which launches on 2 July. If you main anything in GGS, the Sunday showcase is must-watch.

Tekken 8 — Bob Makes His Grand Entrance

Bandai Namco is using EVO to drop the Bob gameplay trailer, with his release date expected alongside it. Bob is the next confirmed DLC character for Tekken 8. With T8 placing second in total entries at 1,354, this reveal will land in front of one of the biggest audiences of the year.

Street Fighter 6 — Capcom Saving Something Big for Sunday

Capcom has confirmed it is withholding its Street Fighter 6 news for the Sunday Top 8 — meaning whatever the announcement is, it drops at peak viewership, during the finals of the game that leads all EVO entries and carries the tournament’s top prize pool of USD $40,000. Speculation is running hot; we will report the moment it breaks.

Schedule and How to Watch

All pools run Friday and Saturday. Finals are split:

  • Saturday 27 June: Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Rivals of Aether II

EVO Singapore 2027 — It Is Happening

The headline for the local FGC: EVO Singapore has been officially confirmed as part of EVO’s global expansion, now targeting early 2027 after being pushed back from an originally planned 2026 window. No venue or date is pinned down yet, but the commitment is firm.

Singapore joins Brazil, Morocco, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, and China in EVO’s 2027 international expansion — and the fit makes sense. Singapore’s competitive FGC scene has been growing steadily: SEA Major returned, and the city hosted a Capcom Pro Tour offline event at Gamescom Asia. Having an official EVO event here means local players can earn international ranking points without the cost of flying to Las Vegas, and it raises the profile of the region’s entire competitive scene.

Details on EVO Singapore 2027 — venue, date, and game lineup — are expected over the coming months. We will keep you updated as they land. In the meantime, for more gaming events and esports coverage, head to our events section.

Arc System Works Showcase 2026: Every Reveal

Arc System Works aired its 2026 showcase early this morning — streamed at 06:00 JST and now available in full archive — and it delivered more than anyone was expecting. BlazBlue: Central Fiction is getting its first new playable character in roughly nine years, Guilty Gear -Strive- teased its next DLC fighter Robo-Ky, and a brand-new tactical RPG went up for pre-order today. The Singapore FGC has a very good weekend incoming.

BlazBlue Central Fiction: First New Character in Nine Years

The moment that had FGC timelines erupting: a new playable character is coming to BlazBlue: Central Fiction. BBCF received its last DLC addition — Jubei — roughly nine years ago, and the game has been considered a finished product ever since. Announcing a new character now, out of nowhere, is exactly the kind of surprise EVO weekend is made for.

Arc System Works has not named or shown the character yet. Full details — who it is, what they play like, and presumably a gameplay trailer — are all set for EVO 2026, this Saturday and Sunday, 27–28 June. For Singapore players still running BBCF at locals or keeping an eye on the regional competitive scene, set a reminder: the EVO main stream this weekend is not one to miss.

Guilty Gear -Strive-: Robo-Ky Teaser and New Blazing Pass

On the Guilty Gear -Strive- side, the broadcast opened with a teaser clip for Robo-Ky, the fan-favourite robotic counterpart to Ky Kiske. The full reveal trailer is also reserved for EVO 2026, so Saturday is shaping up to be appointment viewing for anyone invested in ASW’s fighters. GG Strive remains one of the most-played fighting games at local and regional Southeast Asian events, and Robo-Ky has been one of the most-requested returning characters from earlier entries in the series.

Separately, the next Blazing Pass — “Duel 2: Ennui Protocol” — launches on 2 July. It includes Ky’s new weapon skin and a “Country” outfit for Queen Dizzy.

Kamibou no Kurifa — New Tactical RPG, Out 24 September

Beyond the fighting game headlines, Arc System Works and studio Unite Plus announced an entirely new game: 神貌のクリファ (Kamibou no Kurifa). It is a Tactical Counter Timeline RPG set in a version of modern-day Shibuya where supernatural entities known as kai (怪異) are bleeding into reality. Two protagonists — who each carry their own kai — investigate the source of the outbreak.

A teaser trailer is out now (below), and pre-orders opened today on Steam, the PlayStation Store and the Epic Games Store. Physical copies are also available to pre-order from participating retailers from today, with early-purchase bonuses.

Kamibou no Kurifa releases on 24 September 2026 for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Steam and Epic Games Store. SGD pricing is to be confirmed.

Dave the Diver Complete Edition — PS5 and Switch 2 on 8 October

One of the showcase’s cleanest surprises for console players: Dave the Diver Complete Edition is coming to PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch 2 on 8 October 2026. It includes the base game plus the DREDGE and Godzilla collaboration DLCs that were sold separately on PC. If you held off on the underwater adventure waiting for a console release, this is the one. SGD pricing and pre-order details have not been confirmed yet.

The Rest of the Showcase

Donutal (ドーナタル) — a Papers, Please-style alien examination game set in the year 2206, where you wake from cryosleep to become Earth’s Star Inspector and judge arriving extraterrestrials through dialogue — showed off a systems trailer.
