MAPPA has not announced a release window for Season 4. Fan speculation based on the studio’s production patterns points toward 2027, but that is not official. Given that the teaser specifically says “Season 4 in active production” (鋭意制作中), it is firmly past the announcement-only stage.

The Culling Game Part 2 will need to pay off a huge amount of narrative and character investment — so it is no surprise MAPPA is being thorough rather than rushing to air.

During MAPPA’s 15th anniversary livestream on 19 June, the studio dropped a second teaser trailer for Chainsaw Man: Assassins Arc — complete with its full production crew and a surprise mobile game announcement — and then, almost in passing, confirmed that Dorohedoro Season 3 is in active production with a teaser of its own.

The Assassins Arc adapts the sixth arc of Tatsuki Fujimoto’s Public Safety Saga, picking up after the events of the Reze Arc film. With Denji’s existence now known beyond Japan’s borders, a wave of international killers closes in — and MAPPA has now confirmed who is bringing that chaos to the screen:

  • Director: Tatsuya Yoshihara (who helmed Chainsaw Man: The Movie — Reze Arc)

A Chainsaw Man Mobile Game Is Coming

Alongside the anime news, MAPPA revealed a Chainsaw Man smartphone game for iOS and Android. The opening animation for the game was created by the studio itself, and the opening theme — “All the Lynch!! All the Mince!!” — is composed by Ryo Kawakita of Maximum the Hormone, the veteran Japanese rock band who have been synonymous with Chainsaw Man from the very beginning. Dorohedoro Season 3 — Officially Confirmed

Built by BANDAI CARD GAMES — the same brand behind the Dragon Ball Super Card Game and Digimon Card Game — the NARUTO CARD GAME is designed as a strategy-first competitive TCG. Full details on card mechanics, deck construction, and rarity tiers are held until 29 July 2026, the day before its first public playable event. What is confirmed is that this is a proper standalone TCG, not a collectible set, targeting the competitive card game audience.

NARUTO, the manga by Masashi Kishimoto, ran for 700 chapters and now sits at over 250 million copies in circulation worldwide. The franchise is one of the defining properties of Singapore’s ACG scene, and a dedicated competitive TCG has been a long time coming for fans here.
