Pokémon GO Twilight Trails Is Live — Maschiff, Mega Staraptor, and Dynamax Uxie Debut This Season

Pokémon GO’s Season 24 has officially begun. Twilight Trails went live today, 8 September 2026, at 10:00 AM local time — and it runs all the way to 1 December 2026, making it one of the longer seasons in the game’s now decade-long history. It’s a packed three months, with Paldean newcomers, two Mega Evolution debuts, and a Dynamax Max Battle Day that Singapore and Asia-Pacific trainers will want to circle on the calendar.

Maschiff and Mabosstiff Make Their Pokémon GO Debut

The season’s headline new arrivals are Maschiff and its evolved form Mabosstiff — the rugged Dark-type bulldog duo from Pokémon Scarlet and Violet’s Paldea region. They’re the first wave of Paldean Pokémon confirmed for this season, with Niantic noting that more Paldea-region species will be making their debuts as Twilight Trails unfolds. Maschiff can be caught in the wild during the Mega Squads event running until 14 September, which is also where Shiny Flamigo makes its Pokémon GO debut.

Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure Hit the Raid Gyms

Two Mega Evolution debuts are locked in for this season: Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure. Mega Staraptor gets a dedicated Mega Raid Day on 19 September, while Mega Chandelure is expected to debut during a Mega Squads raid window later in the season. Both are strong additions — Mega Staraptor packs serious Flying-type DPS, and Mega Chandelure is one of the most anticipated Ghost and Fire-type Mega Evolutions in the game. Dynamax Uxie — Asia-Pacific’s Exclusive Max Battle Day

This is the one Singapore trainers need to watch out for. The Lake Guardians — Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf — are making their Dynamax debuts in a dedicated Max Battle Day this season. As long-time GO players know, Uxie has always been the Asia-Pacific-exclusive Lake Guardian: when a Max Battle Day rolls around with Uxie featured, that’s your region’s moment. The exact date for this Max Battle Day hasn’t been announced yet, but Niantic confirmed it’s coming during Twilight Trails. Beyond the Lake Guardians, new Dynamax encounters at Power Spots include Rhyhorn, Sneasel, and Sizzlipede from the start of the season.

GO Pass Bonuses and Move Updates

The GO Pass milestone rewards for Twilight Trails offer some useful quality-of-life perks as you level up throughout the season: guaranteed Candy XL from trades at Rank 1, increased Gift sending and opening limits at Rank 25, 30-minute Daily Adventure Incense duration at Rank 50, and additional XP and Stardust from hatching Eggs at Rank 75. On top of that, Niantic is rolling out its largest move rebalancing in months — over 30 moves are being updated, and more than 40 Pokémon species are gaining access to new moves, which will shake up Battle League and raid metas heading into the November endgame.

Pokémon GO Gible Community Day Classic — Saturday 12 September, 2pm–5pm SGT

Gible is descending on Singapore this Saturday — and this time it’s bringing Shiny odds good enough to actually get excited about. Pokémon GO’s September 2026 Community Day Classic spotlights the land-shark trio (Gible, Gabite, Garchomp) on 12 September 2026 from 2:00pm to 5:00pm SGT, with the headline prize being a Garchomp that knows the powerhouse Ground-type move Earth Power.

When and Where: 12 September, 2pm–5pm SGT

Mark your calendars: the Community Day Classic window runs from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Saturday, 12 September — that’s your main three-hour hunting period. Gible will flood wild encounters, Incense activated during the window lasts a full three hours, and Lure Modules run for one hour each.

There’s also a generous extended-lure bonus: PokéStops with active Lure Modules will attract Gible from 2:00pm all the way to 9:00pm SGT, keeping the shiny hunt alive well after the main window closes. Gible caught on active lures still carry the elevated shiny rate and can spawn with the special event background, so it’s worth keeping lures ticking at your favourite spot through the evening. Singapore’s local Pokémon GO scene tends to converge on well-stocked PokéStop clusters — anywhere with four or more stops in close range makes lure stacking especially efficient.

Earth Power Garchomp: Why You Want One

Garchomp is already a Raid and PvP staple, but the right move matters. If you evolve Gabite into Garchomp any time from the start of the event through 9:00pm SGT on 12 September, you will lock in the Charged Attack Earth Power — a Ground-type move with 100 power in PvE raids and 90 power in PvP, and a bonus chance to lower the opponent’s Attack stat.

For Master League, a high-CP Garchomp with Earth Power is one of the most complete Dragon/Ground attackers in the game. Sandstorm teams that pair Garchomp with Steel-types benefit enormously from the Attack-drop chip. Even in PvE, Earth Power slots neatly alongside Dragon moves for coverage on targets weak to Ground. If you have any Gible candy stocked up, this is the window to evolve.

Shiny Gible: 1-in-20 Odds

Community Day Classic events apply a 1-in-20 (5%) shiny encounter rate — far above the standard 1-in-500 baseline. Every wild Gible is worth a tap. Shiny Gible sports a noticeably lighter blue-grey skin, and Shiny Garchomp goes full navy dark — a clean, understated look that stands out in gym and raid lobbies.

You’ll also have a chance to encounter Gible with a Special Community Day Background, which persists through evolution and adds a rare cosmetic layer to any Garchomp you raise from this event. Rare Event Field Research tasks during the event guarantee a Special Background encounter as a completion reward.

Bonuses, Special Research Ticket and Collection Challenge

The full bonus stack during the main 2:00–5:00pm window:

It grants three additional Gible encounters with the Special Community Day Background, a Premium Battle Pass, Rare Candy XL, and other rewards. Tickets are giftable to Great Friends or higher, which makes splitting costs with a dedicated GO group worth considering.

Complete the free Collection Challenge by evolving one Gible into Gabite during the event — the reward includes XP, Stardust, and Garchomp Mega Energy, useful for anyone building toward Mega Garchomp.

Pokémon Horizons: The Series and Pokémon GO are crossing over in a special worldwide event that kicks off on 16 September — and it brings Friede’s signature Charmander into the mobile game for the very first time.

The Anime Episode: Professor Willow Goes to Horizons

Episode 150 of Pokémon Horizons: The Series, titled Hirogaru Sekai, Kimi to GO! (「広がる世界、きみとGO!」 — The Expanding World, With You and GO!), airs on 18 September in Japan. In the episode, Liko and her companions head out on fieldwork alongside Professor Willow from Pokémon GO. The crossover also promises a long-awaited reveal: how Friede first met Charizard.

During the broadcast, Pokémon GO will announce a promotional code that guarantees an encounter with a Charmander wearing Friede’s goggles featuring a Special Background. Pokémon GO Event: Dates, Spawns and Raids (16–22 September)

The Pokémon Horizons: The Series Celebration Event runs worldwide from Wednesday 16 September at 10:00 am local time through to Tuesday 22 September at 8:00 pm local time. Singapore players are fully included — no region lock.

Featured wild spawns are split by time of day. During the day, look out for Fidough, Wattrel, and Chansey; at night, Eevee, Hatenna, and Rockruff will appear more often. Kecleon encounters at PokéStops also increase throughout the event.

Three-star raids feature Charizard wearing Friede’s goggles alongside the Paldea starters’ final forms — Meowscarada, Skeledirge, and Quaquaval. One-star raids bring back Pikachu wearing Cap’s Hat.

Friede’s Charmander — and How to Evolve It

Charmander wearing Friede’s goggles makes its Pokémon GO debut during this event. It can be found in the wild, through Field Research tasks, when using regular Lure Modules, and via the event GO Pass. Collect enough candy and the costume carries through the entire Charmander line: 25 Charmander Candy evolves it into Charmeleon wearing Friede’s goggles, and 100 candy goes all the way to a goggled Charizard.

Event bonuses include double Candy for all catches, one-hour Lure Modules, and bonus Stardust for catching Hatenna and Wattrel. A free GO Pass activates automatically when the event begins, with a paid tier also available.

Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Mega Finale — Armored Mewtwo Returns After Six Years

This Saturday, Pokémon GO closes out its 2026 GO Fest season with the Mega Finale — and the headline is one trainers have been waiting six years for: Armored Mewtwo is back in raids. The event runs 5–6 September, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. local time, and unlike ticketed GO Fest events earlier this year, it costs nothing to participate.

Armored Mewtwo Returns to Five-Star Raids

Armored Mewtwo — the armour-clad form from the 2019 film Pokémon: Mewtwo Strikes Back – Evolution (currently streaming on Netflix) — last appeared in Pokémon GO in 2020. Niantic’s official announcement confirms it returns in five-star raids across both event days. One caveat: Shiny Armored Mewtwo will not be available during this event.

Alongside Armored Mewtwo in five-star slots, both Mega Mewtwo forms take over the Super Mega Raid tier: Mega Mewtwo X on Saturday and Mega Mewtwo Y on Sunday. Beating either rewards a Mewtwo with a Special Background — useful for collectors and Pokémon HOME enthusiasts. Eight rotating habitats cycle across both days, each featuring different Mega-Evolved Pokémon in habitat-specific raids.

Three New Mega Evolutions — Choose Your Kalos Starter

The paid GO Pass Deluxe: Mega Finale (US$14.99, approximately SGD $20) adds increased shiny encounter rates, bonus candy and XL candy from Mega Raids, extra Mega Energy to reach Super Max Level, and the starter-themed avatar shirts shown above — one matching whichever partner you chose.

Event-wide bonuses apply regardless of pass tier: unlimited Remote Raid Passes during the event weekend and a CP boost for all Mega-Evolved Pokémon. During the Mega Ascension lead-up week (31 August–4 September), Remote Raid Pass usage is uncapped up to 30 per day — useful if you’ve been saving passes.

Running from 8 September to 1 December 2026, the new season brings two of the most-requested Mega Evolutions to the game, the debut of Paldean newcomers Maschiff and Mabosstiff, fresh Dynamax arrivals, and a revamped GO Pass progression system. Here is everything Singapore trainers need to know before the season flips over.

What Is Pokémon GO Twilight Trails?

Twilight Trails is the name Niantic has given to the upcoming three-month Pokémon GO season, covering autumn globally. Each season brings a themed batch of new spawns, Raid rotations, and League cups — but Twilight Trails is notable for the sheer number of first-time arrivals packed into a single season. The full season announcement was made on the official Pokémon GO site, with details confirmed across several Pokémon GO media outlets.

Maschiff and Mabosstiff Make Their Pokémon GO Debut

Maschiff and its evolution Mabosstiff — the Dark-type dog duo introduced in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet — will make their Pokémon GO debut during Twilight Trails. The pair is among the last batch of Paldean Pokémon yet to land in the mobile game, so this is a milestone catch for any Pokédex-completionist. Precise event windows for their spawning are still to be confirmed, but both will be available across the season.

Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure: Long-Awaited Arrivals

The headline item for the battling crowd is the simultaneous debut of Mega Staraptor and Mega Chandelure — two Mega Evolutions the community has been asking about for years. Both will appear in Mega Raid Days across the season, though specific dates remain to be announced. Crucially, Staraptor and Chandelure both had Community Day spotlights in previous seasons, meaning most active players already have the Candy and the base forms to Mega Evolve quickly once the raids are live. Singapore trainers with strong Flying- and Fire-type raid lobbies will want to clear their Raid Passes ahead of each debut.

Dynamax Pokémon, Max Battle Days, and the Lake Guardians

New Dynamax Pokémon joining Power Spots this season include Rhyhorn, Sneasel, and Sizzlipede. A dedicated Max Battle Day will feature the Sinnoh Lake Guardians in their Dynamax forms — Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf — which is a rare chance to add the region-exclusive trio to your Max Pokémon roster. The Lake Guardians are region-locked in standard Raids (Uxie is Asia-Pacific, Mesprit is Europe/Middle East/Africa/India, Azelf is Americas), but Max Battle Days typically ignore that restriction, making it a key event for Singapore-based players.

Community Days, Battle League Cups, and GO Pass Deluxe

Three Community Days are locked in for the season:

  • 12 September — Community Day Classic (Pokémon TBA)
  • 10 October — October Community Day
  • 21 November — November Community Day

The Battle League schedule includes the Halloween Cup, Catch Cup, and the 2026 Championships Series Cup for competitive players.

On the progression side, the season introduces a reworked GO Pass system with a free tier and a paid GO Pass Deluxe. Milestone rewards unlock at Ranks 1, 25, 50, and 75, including 2× Daily Adventure Incense duration, increased gift-sending limits, and enhanced egg-hatching bonuses. Full reward lists are not yet detailed, but the structure mirrors the GO Battle League season pass from earlier this year.

What to Do Before 8 September

Before Twilight Trails opens, Pokémon GO Fest: Mega Finale (5–6 September) wraps up this year’s GO Fest with the debuts of Mega Greninja, Mega Chesnaught, and Mega Delphox in raids. It is a smart window to burn through any remaining Raid Passes and stock up on Mega Energy before the seasonal reset on 8 September.

Two brand-new costumed Pikachu are debuting in Pokémon GO right now, and a handful of highly sought-after featured moves — Meteor Mash, Hydro Cannon, Blast Burn — are only days away from being locked again. The Pokémon GO World Championships 2026 in-game event runs until August 30, 2026, giving Singapore players a clear window to act before it closes.

Two New Costumed Pikachu — Both Available as Shiny

The event brings a pair of exclusive limited Pikachu variants to the game for the first time:

  • Pikachu wearing a Cosmog-themed spacesuit — available now through August 28 in one-star raids and wild encounters. Shiny form available.
  • World Championships 2026 Pikachu — debuts when the main championship phase begins on August 28, running until August 30. Also available as Shiny.

Both costumes are brand new to Pokémon GO and have shiny availability, so catching a shiny version of either would be a genuine flex in your collection.

Featured Moves: Evolve These Before August 30

This is the most time-sensitive part of the event. Evolving the following Pokémon before it ends will teach them exclusive charged or fast moves — some of the best in their category for raids and PvP:

  • Hydro Cannon: Feraligatr (evolve Totodile), Greninja (evolve Froakie), Inteleon (evolve Sobble)
  • Blast Burn: Incineroar (evolve Litten)
  • Frenzy Plant: Decidueye (evolve Rowlet line)
  • Meteor Mash: Metagross (evolve Beldum)
  • Aura Sphere: Togekiss
  • Synchronoise: Gardevoir, Gallade
  • Rage Fist: Annihilape (evolve Primeape)
  • Body Slam: Lickilicky
  • Brutal Swing: Hydreigon
  • Powder Snow: Walrein
  • Icicle Spear: Walrein
  • Shadow Claw: Alolan Sandslash
  • Air Cutter: Corviknight

Of these, Meteor Mash Metagross is the most universally useful — it remains one of the game’s best steel-type attackers in five-star raid content. Hydro Cannon on all three water starters is similarly strong. If you have any Beldum or Totodile candy saved up, now is the time to use it. The Worlds event wild pool features Totodile, Froakie, Litten, Beldum (rare), and Togetic (rare) during the main championship phase from August 28.

GO Battle League: 75 Battles a Day

For the full duration of the event, the daily GO Battle League cap triples: you can now play up to 15 sets per day — 75 total battles instead of the usual 25. Pokémon you encounter through GO Battle League also have wider IV variance, improving your odds of finding high-IV picks for your ranked roster.

Whether you are pushing Great League, Ultra League, or Master League, this is the best window in months to accumulate wins and climb the ranks before the season ends. Singapore players who have been holding off on their daily PvP grind should take full advantage while this bonus is active.

Wild Spawns, Raids, and When Each Phase Runs

The event runs in two overlapping phases. During the PokémonXP phase (through August 28), wild encounters include Ralts, Sobble, Numel, Spheal, Drifloon, and Elgyem — with Deino appearing as a rare find. One-star raids feature Cosmog-Spacesuit Pikachu and Impidimp.

When the main Worlds phase begins August 28, the wild pool shifts: Alolan Sandshrew, Mankey, Lickitung, Totodile, Froakie, Litten, and Wooper appear regularly, with rare encounters of Togetic and Beldum. Both costumed Pikachu are available in one-star raids through August 30.

GO Pass Bonuses — Best on August 29 and 30

GO Pass holders get additional perks throughout the event. Trainers at Rank 10 earn 2× Stardust on all catches; Rank 20 and above also receive an extra 3,000 XP per raid. Deluxe GO Pass holders earn up to two free Raid Passes per day.

On August 29–30, the GO Points earning cap is lifted entirely — anything you do during those two days counts toward your total without a ceiling, making them the most efficient days to raid and battle.

Shiny Regi Trio Debuts in Pokémon GO Raids Starting Tomorrow

The legendary Regi trio is landing in Pokémon GO five-star raids starting tomorrow — and for the first time ever, Regirock, Regice and Registeel are appearing in their shiny forms. If you have been raiding since the game launched in 2016 and never saw a shiny Regirock, that is because one did not exist until now.

The three legendary golems from the Hoenn region have rotated in and out of Pokémon GO raids many times since their original release in 2019, but their shiny variants have never been available in the game — until this rotation. According to community tracking sites PokémonGO Hub and Leek Duck, all three are confirmed to have shiny forms available for the first time as part of this raid rotation. No official Niantic announcement page was available at time of writing, so treat the first-ever shiny status as community-confirmed pending a formal Niantic post.

Raid Dates, Times and Raid Hours — Singapore Schedule

Regirock, Regice and Registeel will appear in five-star raids from Wednesday, 26 August at 6:00 AM SGT through Tuesday, 8 September at 10:00 PM SGT. The event spans just under two weeks, with two dedicated Raid Hours giving you the best window to stack as many encounters as possible:

  • Wednesday, 26 August, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM SGT
  • Wednesday, 2 September, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM SGT

During Raid Hours, gyms across Singapore light up with simultaneous raid eggs, making it easy to chain runs with a solid group. High-density raid clusters to target: Gardens by the Bay, Orchard Road, Bishan Park, and the civic district around City Hall MRT tend to have multiple gyms within walking distance — ideal for back-to-back Regi raids during that one-hour window.

Types, Weaknesses and Who to Bring

Each Regi has a single type, which makes counter selection straightforward:

  • Regirock (Rock) — bring Water, Grass, Fighting, Ground or Steel types. Mega Swampert and Primal Kyogre are strong Water picks; Machamp and Lucario work well for Fighting coverage.
  • Regice (Ice) — bring Fire, Rock, Fighting or Steel types. Mega Blaziken, Reshiram and Chandelure are the go-to Fire options; Rampardos and Rhyperior cover the Rock angle.
  • Registeel (Steel) — bring Fire, Ground or Fighting types. Reshiram and Chandelure again for Fire; Excadrill and Groudon for Ground coverage.

All three Regis sit on the tankier side of legendary raids and are manageable with a group of four or more well-levelled trainers. Solo clears are not realistically achievable without optimal mega-boosted counters.

Shiny Odds and What to Expect

Standard legendary raid shiny rates in Pokémon GO have historically sat around 1-in-20 (approximately 5%). With all three Regis running the full two-week window, a dedicated raider joining several groups over Raid Hours and weekends should have a realistic shot at each form — though nothing is ever guaranteed with Pokémon GO’s RNG. Shiny check every encounter: the shiny versions feature distinctive colour swaps (Shiny Regirock goes from orange-brown to a blue-grey; Shiny Regice shifts from light blue to a mint green; Shiny Registeel darkens from silver to a deep gun-metal blue).

As a Water / Psychic dual type, Mega Starmie brings a powerful stat boost to both offensive archetypes. Winning a Mega Raid grants a temporary Mega Energy buff that powers up your own Starmie for subsequent raids and battles.

Can It Be Shiny?

Yes — Shiny Mega Starmie is available from day one. The Shiny form replaces the standard purple body with a striking deep blue, and the centre gem shifts to red. Encounter odds from Mega Raids are boosted compared to standard wild encounters, so the two-hour window is your best shot.

Best Counters for Mega Starmie Raids

Mega Starmie is weak to Electric, Grass, Ghost, Dark, and Bug type moves. Prioritise Electric and Grass attackers for maximum damage output:

  • Mega Manectric — Charge Beam / Wild Charge
  • Zekrom — Charge Beam / Fusion Bolt
  • Xurkitree — Thunder Shock / Discharge
  • Kartana — Razor Leaf / Leaf Blade
  • Mega Sceptile — Fury Cutter / Leaf Blade
  • Mega Gengar — Shadow Claw / Shadow Ball (for Ghost coverage)

A team of four to six high-level trainers with optimal counters should be able to clear the raid comfortably. Lower-level groups or less optimal lineups should aim for five or more.

Mega Starmie’s Best Moveset

If you’re planning to use your newly Mega-evolved Starmie in future raids or GO Battle League:

  • Water attacker: Waterfall + Hydro Pump
  • Psychic attacker: Confusion + Psychic

As a Mega, Starmie functions best as a raid support anchor — its Mega boost raises the power of all Water- and Psychic-type moves for your entire lobby while it’s active.

Tips for Saturday

  1. Use a Remote Raid Pass if you can’t reach a local Gym — Mega Raid Day events typically see active lobbies worldwide.
  2. Stock up on Max Revives and Max Potions before the event window opens.
  3. Activate a Lucky Egg during your runs to maximise XP from raid victories.
  4. Coordinate with local communities — Singapore’s Pokémon GO Telegram groups are usually very active on Raid Days.

The Pokémon RUN 30 at The Kallang already has Singapore trainers excited, but the bigger picture is even wilder. On 7 and 8 November 2026, Singapore becomes the third stop on The Pokémon Company’s PokéXciting! Asia-Pacific tour — a citywide 30th anniversary celebration that fills Jewel Changi Airport’s Forest Valley with all 27 First Partner Pokémon, drops an exclusive blue Pikachu into Pokémon GO, and turns Changi Airport Terminal 3 into a stage-show venue for the weekend. And if you miss the two-day event itself, a Pokémon shopping campaign at Changi and Jewel runs all the way into February 2027.

What Is PokéXciting! — and Why Singapore Is Stop Three

PokéXciting! is The Pokémon Company’s flagship live-event tour to mark three decades of Pokémon. Five Asia-Pacific cities each host a two-day celebration — and each city gets its own exclusive Pikachu costume, inspired by that region. The full schedule:

At Jewel Changi: The First Partner Parade

The centrepiece of Singapore’s PokéXciting! is a Pokémon Parade at Jewel Changi Airport’s Forest Valley, featuring all 27 First Partner Pokémon across nine generations — every starter from Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle (Kanto) through to Sprigatito, Fuecoco and Quaxly (Paldea). Live events at Jewel also include Meet & Greet sessions with Pokémon characters, themed photo spots, and exclusive merchandise available only at the venue.

The Jewel component of PokéXciting! is free to attend, separate from the ticketed Pokémon RUN at The Kallang — so even if you’re not running, the Jewel experience is open to everyone.

At Changi Airport Terminal 3: Stage Shows

Changi Airport Terminal 3 hosts stage shows across both days of the event. Alongside the live performances, a Pokémon Experience Zone (part of the extended shopping campaign) features Nintendo Switch 2 gameplay demos and Pokémon Trading Card Game trial sessions — a low-barrier way to try the card game if you’ve been curious but never picked up a pack.

The Changi-Jewel Shopping Campaign (3 November 2026 – February 2027)

The campaign kicks off on 3 November — four days before the main PokéXciting! weekend — and runs until:

  • Jewel Changi Airport: through 31 January 2027
  • Changi Airport: through 28 February 2027

Shoppers with qualifying receipts from participating outlets at Changi and Jewel can purchase or redeem original Pokémon merchandise with designs exclusive to Singapore. Through the holiday season, Changi’s decorations will carry Pokémon 30th anniversary theming, transitioning from Christmas to Lunar New Year in early 2027. Jewel features a Trading Card Game Quiz Rally with enlarged card displays throughout the mall.

Pokémon GO: Singapore’s In-Game Event (7–8 November)

If you’re a Pokémon GO player, PokéXciting! Singapore runs a fully integrated in-game event alongside the real-world activities. Singapore’s exclusive encounter is the PokéXciting! Pikachu in a blue costume, inspired by Singapore’s local identity — different from every other city’s variant.

GO Stamp Rally: During the event weekend, designated PokéStops around Singapore become stamp locations. Collect five stamps to receive an encounter with the Singapore PokéXciting! Pikachu, which includes a Location Background unique to this event. The Rally remains active for one month after the event starts, so you have time beyond just the weekend — but you must be physically in Singapore to collect stamps.

Timed Research (free): Two complimentary research tasks are available, rewarding encounters with the PokéXciting! Pikachu, a Premium Battle Pass, and event-exclusive stickers.

Wild encounters: Over 24 species appear more frequently, including starter Pokémon wearing party hats. Lure Modules attract evolved forms (Gyarados, Tyranitar, Garchomp), while Incense draws starter Pokémon and specific Unown letters. Five GO Snapshot encounters are available daily, and hourly bonus Team GO Rocket balloons appear throughout the event.

Gigantamax Battles: Gigantamax Venusaur, Gigantamax Charizard, and Gigantamax Blastoise all appear in Raids — a clean sweep of the three Kanto starters in their biggest forms, fitting for a 30th anniversary celebration.

A separate Cross-Region GO Stamp Rally launches across all five cities from 12 September 2026, letting you collect stamps from any PokéXciting! city — so if you travel to KL or Taipei before November, your stamps carry over. Details are on the official Pokémon GO Stamp Rally page.
