Tokyo Game Show 2026 is less than a week away, and the good news for Singapore fans is that you don’t need a flight to Japan to catch the biggest moments. The 30th edition of the world’s largest gaming expo — running 17 to 21 September at Makuhari Messe in Chiba — is streaming live across YouTube, X, Twitch and TikTok, with most of the marquee presentations dropping in evenings or weekends in Singapore time. TGS 2026 at a Glance
This year marks the 30th anniversary of Tokyo Game Show, under the theme “Longest Five Days of Nonstop Play.” CESA confirmed a record-high 1,138 exhibitors from 53 countries and regions — 540 domestic and 598 international — across more than 3,999 booths in Exhibition Halls 1 to 11 at Makuhari Messe, plus a newly added TKP Tokyo Bay Makuhari Hall. That international exhibitor count is the highest TGS has ever recorded.
Business days (press and industry only) run 17–18 September. Public days open 19–21 September, with doors at 9:30 AM JST (8:30 AM SGT) each day. Entry on 21 September closes at 4:00 PM JST (3:00 PM SGT), so plan ahead if you’re attending in person.

Xbox Tokyo Game Show 2026 Broadcast — Thursday 17 Sep, 6 PM SGT
Xbox opens TGS with a 50-minute broadcast on Thursday 17 September at 6:00 PM SGT, live on the Xbox Japan YouTube channel and the global Xbox channel. The Xbox Wire announcement confirmed TGS-exclusive content alongside new gameplay for Minecraft Dungeons II and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, hosted by Misuzu Araki. The broadcast will be archived in 4K, with subtitles in 20 languages added after the live stream ends.
Capcom Spotlight TGS 2026 — Wednesday 16 Sep, 10 PM SGT
The night before TGS opens, Capcom runs its own 40-minute digital pre-show. As we covered when it was announced, the Capcom Spotlight TGS 2026 airs at 10:00 PM SGT on Wednesday 16 September and spotlights six titles: Monster Hunter Wilds: Ascendance, Dragon’s Dogma II: Dark Arisen, Mega Man: Dual Override, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, PRAGMATA, and Street Fighter 6. PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct — Mon 21 Sep, 12 AM SGT
The PC Gaming Show brings its Tokyo edition back for 2026 with a 90-minute presentation streamed live on Sunday 21 September at 9:00 AM PDT — midnight SGT going into Monday 21 September. Hosted by Frankie Ward, the show will premiere more than 35 games from publishers including Devolver Digital and New Blood Interactive, streaming across YouTube, Twitch and Steam simultaneously.

Beyond the named showcases, the TGS official YouTube channel runs its TGS NEWS STUDIO daily recap programme at 9:00 PM SGT on each of the five show days — a useful catch-up if you miss the morning business-day sessions. The Japan Game Awards Future Division on Sunday 20 September (noon SGT) reveals the fan-voted “most anticipated” titles of 2026/2027 and is often the first official confirmation that a beloved franchise is coming back.
