Kazuma Kaneko’s Tsukuyomi Hits Steam Tomorrow — SMT Artist’s Deckbuilder Goes PC

If the name Kazuma Kaneko means anything to you, ears up: the legendary visual artist behind Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, and Devil Summoner is bringing his own tactical deckbuilder KAZUMA KANEKO’S TSUKUYOMI to Steam on 24 July — and it supports English, making it fully accessible to Singapore players on PC from tomorrow.

A Demon-Infested Tower in Modern Tokyo

The setup is quintessentially Kaneko. In Tokyo, 20XX, a colossal megastructure called THE HASHIRA has been severed from the rest of the city by a plasma barrier. You play as Izayoi Tsukuyomi — an NCO agent of a national defence organisation — tasked with infiltrating the isolation zone, climbing a tower overrun by supernatural entities called Jinma, and uncovering the truth at the summit.

Combat is turn-based card battling with a strict three-card hand limit: each fight deals you a fresh hand from your deck, and you spend Ability Points to play cards drawn from a roster of mythological creatures and warriors. Winning grants new Jinma Cards to expand your deck; lose, and the roguelike structure sends you back to square one — though EXP and Level carry over between runs, giving each attempt permanent value.

Colopl first released the game on Nintendo Switch on 23 April 2026. The PC version arriving tomorrow brings English, Japanese, Korean, and Traditional/Simplified Chinese text — no regional lock-out for Singapore-based Steam accounts.

Devil May Cry 5 Drops In — Dante, Nero, and Vergil as Cards

The crossover that launched alongside the Switch version carries over to PC. Dante, Nero, and Vergil from Devil May Cry 5 appear mid-story as boss encounters; defeat each one and they join your roster as powerful Jinma Cards with abilities adapted straight from DMC5 mechanics:

  • Dante — activates a Stylish Rank system: the more hits landed in a single turn, the higher your rank climbs and the stronger your hand becomes.
  • Nero — his Exceed card gains attack power by sitting in your hand at turn end, rewarding a patient hold strategy.
  • VergilConcentration stacks attack power up to ten stages each time a combo card effect chains, punishing enemies that let him build tempo.

Each character can trigger their Devil Trigger or Sin Devil Trigger under specific battle conditions, and their signature weapons — Devil Sword Sparda, Red Queen, and Yamato — appear as exclusive Divine Gear items. The crossover is included in the base game on Steam; no separate purchase needed.

What the Steam Version Adds

Tomorrow’s PC launch also brings the second DLC pack, “The Divine Artist K’s True Manifestation Set – Part Two”, releasing alongside the base game and adding new cards for combat. It is bundled in the Special Digital Deluxe Edition; the standard edition is priced at approximately USD 25.

One thing worth flagging honestly: the Steam page discloses that TSUKUYOMI utilises generative AI for its images, videos, and music. Kaneko serves as creative director and character concept lead, but the card art is AI-generated under his supervision rather than drawn in his signature hand. Singapore players who care about this should factor it in; those here for the SMT-adjacent tactics and the DMC5 collab will find the systems hard to resist either way.

Where to Find It

KAZUMA KANEKO’S TSUKUYOMI launches on Steam on 24 July 2026. The US storefront lists the title as region-restricted there, so Singapore-based accounts should see it correctly. The Nintendo Switch version is already live. For fans of JRPG and tactical game news, this is one to bookmark before tomorrow morning.

Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition Is Out Now on Switch 2

Nero, Dante, V, and Vergil are officially portable. Devil May Cry 5: Devil Hunter Edition dropped on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop today, 23 June 2026 — and the Singapore eShop listing is live right now. If you have been waiting for a reason to see what the Switch 2 can do on the action-game front, this is a strong one.

What Is the Devil Hunter Edition?

This is not a bare port. The Devil Hunter Edition packages the full 2019 original alongside the Vergil playable character DLC — making all four of the game’s distinct combat styles available from the start. The roster breaks down like this:

  • Nero — the young devil hunter who swaps out mechanical Devil Breaker arms for wild offensive options
  • Dante — the franchise’s legendary demon-slaying icon, mixing swordplay with a rotating arsenal of absurd weapons
  • V — a summoner-style fighter who commands three familiars rather than fighting directly
  • Vergil — Dante’s ice-cold rival, added as DLC post-launch and now included here as standard

On top of the character roster, the edition includes costume colour options, extra taunts, and additional battle tracks — the kind of extras that might have cost you separately on other platforms.

Switch 2 Performance

Capcom built DMC5 on their proprietary RE Engine, and the Switch 2 version targets 60fps in both TV mode and handheld mode. For a game built around the feel of its combo system — where every hit needs to register cleanly and stylish-rank momentum matters — that consistent frame rate is the right call. The Vergil DLC in particular demands precision, and a locked 60fps gives you the headroom to chase SSS rankings without the hardware fighting you.

Pricing and Availability

The digital version is available from today on the Nintendo Switch 2 eShop. In the US, Capcom launched it at a promotional price of US$29.99, stepping up to the standard US$39.99 after 31 July 2026. Singapore pricing may differ slightly — check the Nintendo SG eShop page for the exact local figure. A physical edition is scheduled for 28 August 2026, though physical availability in Singapore is to be confirmed.

Plus: A Devil May Cry Animated Season 3 Is on the Way

Capcom confirmed alongside the Switch 2 announcement that a third — and final — season of the Devil May Cry animated series is coming to Netflix. The show has built a real audience: Season 1 pulled 21.7 million views in 2025, and Season 2 opened to 6.4 million views in its first two weeks after launching in May 2026, according to Capcom. Season 3 will serve as the concluding chapter. No premiere date has been announced yet.

Last Words

For Singapore fans who picked up a Switch 2 at launch, this is one of the better early-library additions — a proper Capcom action game, complete edition, running at the frame rate the combat system demands. Whether you missed DMC5 back in 2019 or want to revisit it with Vergil’s moveset unlocked from the start, the timing works. The Singapore eShop listing is live now. And if you are already a fan of the animated series, mark your calendar for whenever Netflix announces a Season 3 date — the full gaming news on that one is still coming.

Capcom unveiled the Devil Hunter Edition during the June 2026 Nintendo Direct, marking the first time a mainline Devil May Cry title has appeared on a Nintendo system. What Is in the Devil Hunter Edition?

The Devil Hunter Edition bundles the complete DMC5 campaign with every major DLC, including the fan-favourite Vergil as a playable character. That gives you four distinct playable protagonists out of the box: Nero (with his modular Devil Breaker prosthetics designed by Nico), the legendary Dante, the summon-based V, and Vergil himself. Rounding things out are costume colour variants, bonus taunts, and extra battle tracks to customise your sessions.

DMC5 first launched in 2019 on PS4 and Xbox One before arriving on PS5 and Xbox Series X in a Special Edition with Vergil already playable. The Switch 2 release brings that definitive package to a portable platform for the first time — perfect for Singapore commuters and students who prefer handheld gaming.

Netflix’s Devil May Cry Anime Enters Its Final Arc

On the animation side, Netflix confirmed the Devil May Cry animated series — available on Netflix Singapore right now — will return for a third and final season. Showrunner Adi Shankar outlined the grand design in a statement to Variety: “This was always Dante’s ‘Divine Comedy’ with guns and a red coat. Season 1 was ‘Inferno.’ Season 2 was ‘Purgatorio.’ Season 3 will be ‘Paradiso.'” All three chapters together form what Shankar calls The Force Edge Saga, conceived from the start as “a movie trilogy disguised as a television series.”

Season 2 debuted on 12 May 2026 and racked up 6.4 million views in its first two weeks, keeping the show on Netflix’s Global Top 10. Season 1 has accumulated 21.7 million views to date. No premiere date for Season 3 has been confirmed yet.

Singapore Switch 2 owners have a clean opportunity on 23 June: DMC5 Devil Hunter Edition is one of the most technically polished action games of the past decade, and the early-adopter window makes it an easy recommendation. Meanwhile, if you have not started the Netflix series, Seasons 1 and 2 are on Netflix Singapore now — ideal prep for the Paradiso finale whenever it arrives.
