Pokémon GO Frigibax Community Day: Date, Moves and Bonuses

The next Pokémon GO Community Day is less than a week away — and this month’s star is Frigibax, the Paldean Ice Fin Pokémon. If you’re hunting for a powerful Ice-type attacker or chasing the shiny, here’s everything Singapore trainers need to know before Saturday.

Frigibax Community Day — Key Details

Date: Saturday, 20 June 2026
Event hours: 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM local time
Extended evolution window: Evolve Arctibax until 9:00 PM to get the exclusive move
Featured Pokémon: Frigibax (Dragon / Ice, Paldea Region)
Shiny available: Yes — boosted shiny odds during the 3-hour window

Frigibax is the 102nd Community Day Pokémon in the game’s history. It evolves into Arctibax and then into Baxcalibur, a dual Dragon/Ice powerhouse that has seen solid use in raids and PvP since its Paldean debut.

Exclusive Move: Glaive Rush on Baxcalibur

The headline reward is Glaive Rush, a Charged Attack that Baxcalibur learns only if you evolve Arctibax during the event window or within four hours after it ends (up to 9:00 PM). According to the official Pokémon GO announcement, Glaive Rush carries 105 power in Gyms and Raids and 90 power in Trainer Battles, making this one of the stronger Dragon/Ice moves available in the current meta. If you already have a high-IV Baxcalibur from a previous evolution, this is a good time to invest Candy and unlock it on a second one with the event move.

All Community Day Bonuses

  • 3× Stardust from catches
  • 2× Candy from catches
  • Increased chance of Candy XL (for Level 31+ trainers)
  • Incense duration extended to 3 hours
  • Lure Modules last 3 hours (place one at 2:00 PM and it covers the full event window); Frigibax also appears near PokeStops with active Lures through 9:00 PM
  • 1 additional Special Trade per day (max 3 during Community Day hours)
  • 50% reduced Stardust cost on trades (2:00 PM to 9:00 PM)

The 3× Stardust bonus is the one to maximise — use a Star Piece to triple it further, and you’re looking at a very efficient afternoon of farming one of the game’s most universally needed resources.

Special Research Ticket

A paid Special Research ticket is available for US$1.99 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency — check the in-app store for the exact SGD amount). This unlocks Community Day-exclusive research tasks and additional encounter rewards beyond what’s available for free during the event.

Voting Returns for August Community Day

Niantic has also confirmed that Community Day voting returns for August 2026. Fans will be able to pick the next featured Pokémon via the official Pokémon GO YouTube channel. Details on how to vote will be announced closer to August — stay tuned.

Last words

With Glaive Rush making Baxcalibur a proper raid pick and the 3× Stardust bonus sweetening the pot, this is a Community Day worth blocking out your Saturday afternoon for. Singapore’s weather in June can be unpredictable, so have your portable charger and a rain plan ready. Happy hunting, trainers — check out our other events for more of what’s coming up in Singapore’s gaming calendar.

HoYo FEST 2026 Singapore: Dates, Venue and What to Expect

If you’re a fan of Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, or Zenless Zone Zero, clear your schedule from 31 July — HoYo FEST 2026 is coming to Suntec Singapore for a three-day celebration, and it’s shaping up to be the biggest HoYoverse gathering the region has seen yet.

HoYo FEST 2026 Singapore — Dates and Venue

HoYoverse’s annual Southeast Asia fan festival returns for its 2026 edition with confirmed dates for Singapore: 31 July to 2 August 2026, hosted at Hall 403, Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre. That’s three days at one of the city’s most iconic event spaces right in the heart of the CBD.

The rest of the Southeast Asian leg runs 30 July to 2 August — Singapore is the one city that kicks off a day later, on the 31st.

What Games Are Featured?

HoYo FEST 2026 celebrates the full slate of active HoYoverse titles: Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, Zenless Zone Zero, Honkai Impact 3rd, and Tears of Themis. Whether you’re a die-hard Traveller or a Trailblazer deep in the Astral Express crew, there should be something on the floor that speaks your language.

Artist Alley, Cosplay Runway and Stage Activities

The headline community activities at HoYo FEST 2026 are the Artist Alley and Stage Activities:

  • Artist Alley — an open marketplace where fan creators showcase and sell original merch, prints, and crafts inspired by HoYoverse’s games. Registration for a booth spot is open now via the official sign-up form on HoYoLAB.
  • Stage Activities — including an Open Stage where fans can perform, and a Cosplay Runway Walk for cosplayers to show off their best character builds in front of a live crowd. Applications for both are open now through the same registration link.

General attendance is open to everyone — the advance registration is specifically for those who want to participate on stage or in the Artist Alley, rather than for entry itself.

Across Southeast Asia

Singapore is one of six SEA cities hosting HoYo FEST 2026 this season. The other five are Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Bangkok (Thailand), Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), Manila (Philippines), and Jakarta (Indonesia). Note that Indonesia’s location has moved from Surabaya to Jakarta compared to 2025, which opens the event up to a bigger local fanbase.

Tickets and Admission

HoYoverse has not yet announced ticket pricing or admission details for the 2026 Singapore event — admission pricing is to be confirmed. Keep an eye on the official HoYoLAB announcement and HoYoverse’s social channels for updates closer to July.

Last words

For Singapore players who live and breathe HoYoverse games, HoYo FEST at Suntec is easily one of the most exciting summer calendar items to look forward to. Three days, five games, a cosplay runway, and an Artist Alley full of local fan talent — we’ll be there. Check out our other events coverage for more on what’s coming up for Singapore’s gaming and pop-culture calendar.

Fandom Art Fiesta 2026 at Kallang Leisure Park — Last Day Today

If you have nothing planned for this Sunday, here is a good reason to head to Kallang — Fandom Art Fiesta 2026 is on until 7pm tonight, and it is completely free.

What Is Fandom Art Fiesta?

Fandom Art Fiesta (FAF) is one of Singapore’s most beloved community ACG (Anime, Comics, and Games) art markets. Each edition brings together a curated selection of local and regional independent creators who set up booths selling original fan art, limited prints, stickers, keychains, acrylic charms, doujin goods, and handmade merchandise tied to the anime, gaming, and pop-culture fandoms Singapore fans love. If you have been to a Doujin Market or browsed AFA’s artist alley, FAF sits in that same creative space — with a community-first, neighbourhood energy that keeps it genuinely welcoming for newcomers and regulars alike.

The event has built a loyal following among Singapore’s ACG community precisely because it lowers the barrier on both sides: for independent creators who want a local platform to share and sell their work, and for fans who want to discover and support SG artists without paying event admission.

Key Details for Today

  • Date: Sunday, 14 June 2026 — today is the second and final day
  • Hours: 11:00am – 7:00pm
  • Venue: Leisure Park Kallang, 5 Stadium Walk, Singapore 397693
  • Nearest MRT: Stadium MRT (Circle Line, CC6) — approximately 2 minutes on foot
  • Entry: Free admission

What to Expect at FAF

Creator booths are the heart of FAF. Expect fan art prints and original goods spanning a wide mix of fandoms — current-season anime, classic JRPGs, Pokémon, Genshin Impact, and original character art all tend to be well represented. Cosplayers show up in force, and the indoor venue at Leisure Park Kallang has a relaxed, photo-friendly atmosphere that makes it a natural social hangout even if you are not specifically there to buy.

A few practical tips if you are heading down today:

  • Bring cash or PayNow — smaller creator booths may not accept card payments
  • Arrive earlier rather than later if you have specific creators in mind; limited-run prints and exclusive doujin items tend to sell out by early afternoon
  • Follow @fandom_art_fiesta on Instagram to see participating creators, booth numbers, and catalogue previews before you arrive

How to Find FAF at Leisure Park Kallang

Leisure Park Kallang is a short walk from Stadium MRT (CC6 on the Circle Line) — exit and follow the covered walkway, and it is about two minutes on foot. Parking is available at the mall for those driving. The event is held indoors, so air-conditioned comfort is guaranteed even on a warm June afternoon.

Last words

Singapore has one of the most creative ACG fan-art communities in Southeast Asia, and events like FAF are where you get to experience that creativity in person rather than through a screen. Free entry, easy MRT access, and several hours left today — if you are a Singapore anime or gaming fan with a free Sunday afternoon, Kallang is worth the trip. You can check out more local ACG events in our events section.

METAL BUILD EXPO: Inside Tamashii Nations Store Tokyo

If you grew up wanting your Gundam to be made of actual metal, Bandai Spirits just built a whole event around that itch. The METAL BUILD EXPO is a single-brand showcase running at the Tamashii Nations Store Tokyo in Akihabara, and we dropped by to see every die-cast hero the line has to offer under one roof. Here’s our walkthrough — plus what it means for collectors back home in Singapore.

What is the METAL BUILD EXPO?

METAL BUILD is Bandai Spirits’ premium line of pre-painted, fully-articulated figures that mix die-cast metal with plastic for real heft and a satisfying clink. This is the first time the brand has been given its own dedicated event, and it pulls together the latest releases across Mobile Suit Gundam, Neon Genesis Evangelion, the EX PROJECT line and more.

The essentials:

  • Where: Tamashii Nations Store Tokyo, 1-1 Kandahanaokacho, Chiyoda-ku — a one-minute walk from JR Akihabara Station (Electric Town Exit).
  • When: 27 March – 6 July 2026, daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
  • Admission: free — the storefront sign literally reads nyujo muryo (free entry).

Gundam SEED takes centre stage

The headline wall belongs to Gundam SEED. The Strike Freedom Gundam anchors the display in full die-cast glory, wings of light fanned out the way every SEED fan remembers it.

Bandai is using the expo to relaunch the figure: the METAL BUILD Strike Freedom Gundam <Revival Ver.> hits general retail in June 2026 with a refreshed package and an added support stand. Alongside it, the store is selling new store-limited Sword Striker and Launcher Striker packs that clip onto the Strike Gundam (Heliopolis Roll Out Ver.) to rebuild the Sword and Launcher loadouts.

A glass cabinet near the back lines up the SEED roster side by side — Strike, Strike Freedom, Destiny and friends — so you can see how the sculpts have evolved over the line’s run. If you want a sense of scale and finish, this shelf is the one to study.

Tucked into the exclusives corner are the Astray frames — the Gold Frame and Red Frame — wearing “ON SALE HERE NOW!” tags, the kind of store-only stock that makes the trip worth it for serious collectors.

The commemorative Hi-ν Gundam

Every Tamashii store event gets a commemorative piece, and this one is the METAL BUILD Hi-ν Gundam [METAL BUILD EXPO]. It’s based on the 2022 Hi-ν, but repainted from the novel’s purple-and-white into the official blue-and-white scheme, with a new fin funnel hanger so you can display the funnels stowed or deployed. It’s a Premium Bandai item that needs a CLUB TAMASHII MEMBERS registration to order.

00, Evangelion and a Toho surprise

The Gundam 00 corner shows off GN-001 Gundam Exia and the 00 Gundam, GN blades catching the spotlights. Staff had an Exia out of the case for a closer look — the inner-frame detail on these is genuinely absurd.

Beyond Gundam, EVANGELION Unit-01 represents the line’s wider reach, posed mid-lunge off its launch rail.

And the one that stopped us in our tracks — a fully die-cast Toho mecha from the Godzilla universe, all spines and silver plating, licensed TM & © Toho Co., Ltd. Not what you expect at a Gundam-heavy show, and all the better for it.

Hatsune Miku gets the METAL BUILD treatment

The most unexpected booth is a snow-globe diorama built for METAL BUILD Hatsune Miku — yes, the Vocaloid icon reimagined as a mecha-suited figure, posed across a starry, checkerboard stage. It’s a reminder that METAL BUILD isn’t only about war machines.

What this means for Singapore collectors

METAL BUILD figures don’t get a regular shelf presence in Singapore — they’re a Premium Bandai and Tamashii web-store world, so most SG collectors import via Bandai’s online stores or specialist hobby shops. The catch with an event like this: the store-limited Striker packs and the commemorative Hi-ν are tied to the Tokyo store and the Tamashii web store, so they’re not something you’ll casually find at a local mall.

If you’re heading to Tokyo before the expo wraps on 6 July 2026, the Akihabara store is a one-minute walk from the station and free to enter — easily worth an hour even if you’re only browsing. On the tags we spotted, figures ranged from the low ¥10,000s up past ¥40,000 (the Force Impulse Gundam was tagged ¥41,800), so factor that in if you plan to buy rather than just gawk. For more on-the-ground coverage, check our other events reports.

Full event details are on the official Tamashii Nations Store Tokyo page.

UNDERTALE Symphony Adds Second Singapore Night on 22 September

Singapore Undertale fans who missed out on the first show just got a second chance — UNDERTALE: The Determination Symphony World Tour has announced an additional Singapore performance on Tuesday, 22 September 2026, following the rapid sell-out of its first Singapore show. If you’ve been waiting for the right moment, this is it.

Two Nights in the Underground, Singapore

The tour’s Singapore leg now spans two consecutive evenings. The original show on Monday, 21 September 2026 was the first to go on sale, and tickets are running extremely low. The newly announced second night on Tuesday, 22 September 2026 was added specifically to meet the overwhelming demand from Singapore fans who couldn’t secure a seat for the first show.

Both performances are ticketed through SISTIC (event code: undertale0926). Given how quickly the first show moved, fans should check availability as soon as possible.

What the Concert Is — and Why Singapore Fans Are Losing It

UNDERTALE: The Determination Symphony is not a DJ set or a recorded soundtrack — it is a full 25-piece live orchestra performing Toby Fox’s iconic score with new arrangements, while gameplay footage is projected on a large screen above the stage. Audiences journey through every memorable location from the game in sequence: the Ruins, Snowdin, Waterfall, Hotland, and finally New Home.

Toby Fox himself described the experience with characteristic brevity: “UNDERTALE is a game with a lot of music, it’s good when skilled professionals play the music and people listen to it.”

The concert is produced by SOHO Live, a production of Lambert Jackson Productions in partnership with Materia Music — the same team behind other acclaimed game-music live shows. The 2026 World Tour spans four continents, with Singapore being one of the few confirmed Asia stops alongside other regional dates.

How to Get Tickets for the Singapore Shows

Tickets for both Singapore performances are available via SISTIC. Venue details are listed on the SISTIC event page — check there for the confirmed location, seating categories, and pricing in SGD. You can also follow the official tour account @undertalesymph on Instagram for the latest updates.

For more events and pop-culture happenings in Singapore, keep an eye on GameTrader.SG.

Last words

Singapore gets two nights of UNDERTALE, and that alone tells you something about the fanbase here. Toby Fox’s soundtrack has been part of many local gamers’ lives for over a decade — the Ruins theme, Megalovania, Hopes and Dreams — and hearing them played live by a full orchestra is a completely different experience. Whether you’re a long-time fan or someone whose kid has been obsessed with Undertale for the past year, both shows are worth every dollar. The first night is nearly gone. The second was added today. Move fast.

Southeast Asian Games Showcase 2026: Tune In Tonight at 11pm SGT

Singapore gamers, you have a free front-row seat to one of the region’s most exciting gaming nights. The Southeast Asian Games Showcase 2026 streams live this Saturday, 6 June, at 11pm SGT — and the confirmed lineup is already worth staying up for.

No Straight Roads 2 Official Reveal Trailer – SEA Games Showcase: Summer Game Fest Edition — via SEA Games Showcase (SEAGS) on YouTube

What Is the Southeast Asian Games Showcase?

The Southeast Asian Games Showcase (SEAGS) is a premium annual digital event dedicated exclusively to game developers from Southeast Asia. Now in its second year — it debuted at Summer Game Fest 2025 — the showcase returns to the same global stage in 2026, giving SEA studios a spotlight alongside the year’s biggest gaming announcements.

Co-founded by Arief Johan and Samantha Low, this year’s event received hundreds of developer submissions. Seven hosts representing Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines, Vietnam, and beyond will guide the broadcast: co-founders Arief Johan and Samantha Low, plus Jay Wong, Michael Higham, Nhi Do, Sarah Johana, and Victoria Tran.

5 Confirmed Games for SEAGS 2026

Five titles are confirmed ahead of the live show — with more surprises expected once the broadcast begins.

No Straight Roads 2 — Metronomik & Shueisha

The sequel to the beloved 2020 rhythm-action cult hit is headlining the 2026 showcase. Rock rebels Mayday and Zuke of Bunk Bed Junction return, joined by two new characters each bringing fresh musical identities and gameplay mechanics. The Malaysian studio has since teased a new dance track, ‘vs. Rama Irama’, hinting at an even wider musical scope. Expect new details — possibly a release window — live on Saturday.

TCG Card Shop Simulator — O.P. Neon Games

Run your own local game store: hire staff, stock booster packs, host TCG events, and expand your shop. Already in early access, this one hits close to home for Singapore’s thriving TCG community. Think of it as living the dream without the rent.

Montabi — Mankibo & Akupara Games

A creature-collector roguelike deckbuilder from Indonesia’s Mankibo. Assemble a team of unique Montabi and master their abilities across tactical turn-based combat encounters. If you’re into Pokémon and card games, this one is practically made for you.

Building Relationships — Tan Ant Games

The most delightfully strange entry in the lineup: a solo-developed game from Thailand where you play as a sentient building that rolls, jumps, and wave-dashes — while romancing other structures. Yes, really. Solo developer Tanat Boozayaangool built this, and it already looks wonderfully unhinged.

Am I Nima — HO! Games & Outersloth

A psychological horror game where a character must combine words in her mind to convince her mother of her identity. From HO! Games, led by Malaysian-Canadian director Jeremy Ho, this one looks like the kind of slow-burn, deeply personal horror that stays with you.

How to Watch the SEA Games Showcase 2026

The broadcast is completely free. Tune in this Saturday, 6 June, at 11pm SGT across these platforms:

No tickets, no registration — just show up. The showcase is part of the broader Summer Game Fest 2026 weekend running through 8 June.

Last Words

Singapore sits at the heart of Southeast Asia’s gaming scene, and SEAGS is proof of how far our region’s developers have come. Whether you’re a No Straight Roads fan who has been waiting on the sequel, a TCG collector who wants to virtually run your own store, or someone who simply wants to cheer on SEA-made games on a global stage — Saturday night’s stream is worth the late one. Set that alarm for 11pm.

Pokémon RUN 30 Is Heading to Singapore This November

Singapore’s Pokémon fans, mark your calendars. The Pokémon Company is bringing one of its biggest live celebrations yet to our shores — Pokémon RUN 30, a massive two-day event marking 30 years of the franchise, is confirmed for 7–8 November 2026 at The Kallang. Whether you lace up for the themed fun run or just rock up for the free festival, this one is going to be huge.

Pokémon 30th Anniversary Special Movie — via Pokémon Asia ENG on YouTube

What Is Pokémon RUN 30?

Pokémon RUN 30 is The Pokémon Company’s flagship anniversary live event, rolling out across seven cities in Asia to celebrate 30 years of the franchise. Launched alongside the broader PokéXciting! Asia tour, the event pairs an immersive themed fun run with a fully free-to-enter festival ground — meaning even non-runners can show up and get in on the action.

Singapore is stop three on the Asia leg, with Kuala Lumpur (12–13 September) and Taipei (10–11 October) going first. So by the time The Kallang opens its gates on 7 November, the event will already be battle-tested and fully dialled in.

The Run: Pick Your Partner, Hit the Course

The fun run covers a 4km interactive course designed to feel like a real Pokémon adventure. At the start, you’ll select a starter Pokémon as your running partner — and that partner evolves the further you go. Along the route, expect:

  • Obstacle sections styled as Pokémon Gyms
  • Pokédex sticker stations to collect along the way
  • Hydration points themed as Pokémon Centers

It is designed to be family-friendly, so no need to be a seasoned runner — just bring your trainer spirit.

The Festival Zone — Free Entry, No Ticket Needed

Even if you skip the run, the Festival Zone is completely free to enter for all visitors. This is the heart of the event and includes:

  • Pikachu Parade and meet-and-greet — Singapore’s favourite yellow mascot, up close
  • Pokémon Time Tunnel — a walk-through exhibit celebrating 30 years of Pokémon history
  • Pokémon Experience Zone — playable Nintendo Switch 2 Pokémon games and Trading Card Game instruction sessions
  • Pokémon Center Pop-Up Store — exclusive merchandise you won’t find in stores

The free-entry festival is the move if you want to bring the whole family without worrying about ticket costs.

What’s in the Runner’s Kit?

Registered runners receive a kit that includes:

  • Pokémon RUN 30 T-shirt and drawstring bag
  • Poké Ball armband and race bib
  • Pokémon TCG booster pack and a lenticular card

Premium ticket tiers also include a Pikachu plushie. Ticket pricing and tier breakdowns have not been announced yet — The Pokémon Company says details will be revealed shortly. Keep an eye on the official Singapore portal at sg.portal-pokemon.com/30th/ for updates.

Pokémon GO Trainers Get In-Game Bonuses Too

If you play Pokémon GO, the event has something for you as well. The Pokémon Company has confirmed exclusive in-game bonuses and special quests tied to the real-world event at The Kallang. Specific bonuses are to be confirmed closer to November, but GO players will want to plan a trip down regardless.

PokéXciting! — The 30th Anniversary Asia Tour

Singapore’s Pokémon RUN 30 is part of the wider PokéXciting! Asia-wide celebration — described by The Pokémon Company as its largest-ever regional anniversary event. The five-city PokéXciting! tour runs:

  • Kuala Lumpur — 12–13 September 2026
  • Taipei — 10–11 October 2026
  • Singapore — 7–8 November 2026 (The Kallang)
  • Manila — 2027 (dates to be confirmed)
  • Bangkok — 2027 (dates to be confirmed)

Each city hosts its own version of the event with local flavour, complemented by shopping mall campaigns, Pokémon TCG tournaments, and Pokémon GO tie-ins throughout the region.

Last Words

November 7–8 is still a few months out, which gives Singapore trainers plenty of time to prep. The Festival Zone’s free admission removes any barrier to entry — so even if you’re not a runner, there’s no reason to miss the Pikachu Parade, the Time Tunnel, or the chance to get hands-on with Switch 2 Pokémon games.

We’ll be watching the official Singapore portal closely for ticket launch dates and full tier pricing. In the meantime, check out our roundup of other events coming to Singapore this year — there’s a lot on the calendar.

Crunchyroll Chainsaw Man booth at Anime Festival Asia Thailand 2026

Chainsaw Man Reze Arc Is on Crunchyroll: A Singapore Guide

Crunchyroll just wrapped a Chainsaw Man-fuelled weekend at Anime Festival Asia (AFA) Thailand 2026 in Bangkok — and while the booth action played out up north, the bigger news for Singapore anime fans is that the same titles driving all that hype are already a tap away. Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc is streaming on Crunchyroll, and the road to AFA’s Singapore dates is already taking shape.

Chainsaw Man takes over AFA Thailand 2026

Held on 30–31 May 2026 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, Crunchyroll’s AFA Thailand booth leaned hard into Chainsaw Man. The centrepiece was a live appearance by Kikunosuke Toya, the Japanese voice actor behind Denji, who performed a live dubbing of the character on stage before a fan meet-and-greet. For Toya, who spent part of his childhood in Bangkok, the panel doubled as a homecoming.

Fans could also step into a The Crossroads Café-inspired photospace and meet a Pochita mascot making its Thailand debut — the kind of in-person activation that tends to land in Singapore not long after.

What Singapore fans can stream on Crunchyroll now

Here’s the part that matters most locally: Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc isn’t a Thailand-only treat. The film began its global Crunchyroll streaming run on 30 April 2026 — available worldwide except Japan and France, which includes Singapore — in both subtitled and dubbed versions (Crunchyroll, HardwareZone). After a 2025 theatrical run, the move to streaming means SG fans who missed it on the big screen can finally catch the Reze arc at home.

Ani-May, Blue Lock and Solo Leveling: the wider catalogue

The Thailand booth ran an Ani-May stamp rally built around three of Crunchyroll’s biggest current titles — an Attack on Titan Doodle Wall, a BLUE LOCK Football Challenge, and a Solo Leveling Fitness Challenge. The activation was regional, but the shows behind it all stream on Crunchyroll for Singapore audiences too, which is really the throughline here: the events travel, but the library is the same one SG fans already pay for.

For context on Crunchyroll’s localisation push across the region, the platform now carries more than 550 titles in Thailand alone, including over 120 Thai-dubbed and 300-plus Thai-subtitled — a scale of investment that hints at where Southeast Asian markets, Singapore included, sit on the priority list.

When does Singapore get its turn?

AFA’s Singapore calendar is already moving. The organiser has confirmed AFA Creators Super Fest 2026 for 11–12 July at Suntec Singapore (Halls 403–405), with the flagship Anime Festival Asia Singapore reported to return to Suntec in late November (dates to be confirmed). If the Thailand showing is any guide, expect Crunchyroll’s Chainsaw Man energy — photospaces, guest seiyuu, stamp rallies — to factor into the local line-up. Keep an eye on our other anime events coverage as those plans firm up.

Last words

The Bangkok booth was a Thailand event, but the takeaway for Singapore is simple: the headline title — Chainsaw Man – The Movie: Reze Arc — is already streamable here on Crunchyroll, and the AFA roadshow lands on home turf from July. For SG anime fans, it’s less “you missed it” and more “press play.” We’ll be tracking the AFA Singapore announcements as they drop.

HoYo FEST 2026 Hits Singapore This August — Genshin, Star Rail & ZZZ at Suntec

HoYoverse’s beloved annual fan festival is coming back to Singapore — and if you play Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, or Zenless Zone Zero, you’ll want to clear your calendar for the first weekend of August.

HoYo FEST 2026 Singapore: Dates, Venue, and What’s New

HoYo FEST 2026 Singapore runs from Friday, 31 July to Sunday, 2 August 2026 at Suntec Singapore Convention & Exhibition Centre, Hall 403. That’s a three-day run — one day shorter than the other five Southeast Asian stops, which all kick off on the Thursday — so don’t wait until the weekend to plan your visit.

This year marks an expanded format for the festival: what started as a themed pop-up experience has grown into a full-fledged fan convention, with a dedicated exhibition floor, live stages, and a proper creator marketplace built in. Last year’s Singapore edition at Suntec drew strong crowds across all three days, and the 2026 edition looks set to be even more packed.

What’s Happening on the Convention Floor

HoYoverse has confirmed several activity streams for all six stops, including Singapore:

  • Themed Exhibitions — Immersive installations and interactive booths celebrating the worlds of Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero.
  • Exclusive Merchandise — Official HoYo FEST-edition goods, typically available only at the event. Stock tends to go fast.
  • Artist Alley — A dedicated creator marketplace where fan artists can showcase and sell original merchandise, illustrations, and crafts inspired by HoYoverse titles.
  • Open Stage — Fan-led performances and community segments on the main stage.
  • Cosplay Runway Walk — Cosplayers take the spotlight in a runway showcase. Whether you’re watching or walking, it’s always a highlight.

Want to Participate? Registration Is Open Now

HoYoverse has opened recruitment for two participation tracks — and if you’re a creator or cosplayer, this is your shot to be part of the event from the inside:

  • Artist Alley — Apply to set up a booth and sell your fan-made work directly to attendees. This is separate from the standard vendor slots at events like Doujin Market, so it’s a unique opportunity for HoYoverse fan creators specifically.
  • Stage Activities — Submit for the Open Stage or Cosplay Runway Walk. You’ll be performing or strutting before a live audience of fellow fans.

Registration links are pinned on the official social media pages for each game — check Honkai: Star Rail on Facebook and the official HoYoverse social channels for the direct form links. No registration deadline has been confirmed yet, but these slots fill up quickly, so apply early.

Ticket Prices and Entry Details

Ticket pricing for the Singapore leg has not been announced yet — watch the official HoYoverse Singapore social pages for updates. Past HoYo FEST editions in Singapore have offered a mix of free and ticketed zones, so it’s worth checking before you assume entry is fully free.

What This Means for Singapore Gamers

HoYoverse games have a massive player base here — Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero consistently rank among the most-played mobile and PC titles in Singapore, and the communities around each title are active and enthusiastic. For fans who’ve only ever experienced these games through a screen, HoYo FEST is genuinely one of the best chances to get hands-on with the worlds, meet other players in person, and pick up limited merch that doesn’t make it to retail.

Mark the dates: 31 July to 2 August, Suntec Convention Centre Hall 403. Keep an eye on the official HoYoverse channels for ticket sales and any Singapore-specific programming announcements. We’ll update this page as more details drop.
