Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Is Now Streaming in Singapore

Tonight is the night. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Infinity Castle I — the record-breaking finale that spent months as the highest-grossing anime film of all time — is now available to stream in Singapore. Netflix has it live across Asia from today, and Crunchyroll opens at 11:00 p.m. SGT. When the streaming date was confirmed earlier this month, Netflix Singapore’s availability was still listed as to be confirmed. It’s confirmed now.

Netflix Singapore: Infinity Castle Is Live Now

Netflix Anime’s official announcement confirms the film is streaming across Asia from 28 July, with Japan, Mainland China, and India the only regional exclusions. Singapore is fully in. Open Netflix tonight and you’ll find Infinity Castle I already there — no waiting required.

Crunchyroll: 11 PM SGT Tonight

Crunchyroll brings the film worldwide from 8:00 a.m. PT on 28 July, which lands at 11:00 p.m. SGT. It’s a late-night start but arguably the ideal way to experience it: Japanese original audio with English subtitles is available alongside the English theatrical dub. Southeast Asia viewers also get subtitle tracks in Thai, Chinese (Traditional), Indonesian, and Melayu — making it one of the most thoroughly localised anime film releases the region has received.

What Infinity Castle I Covers

Jump Festa 2027 Set for 19–20 December at Makuhari Messe

Singapore anime fans, mark your calendars. Shueisha has officially confirmed that Jump Festa 2027 will be held on 19–20 December 2026 at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Hall in Chiba, Japan. Doors open at 9:00 AM and last entry is at 4:30 PM both days — and if the past couple of years are any guide, it is going to be one of the biggest weekends in manga and anime this year.

The announcement was published by Famitsu (Japanese) today and is the first official word from Shueisha on dates for the 2027 edition. A dedicated JF2027 page on the official Jump Festa website is expected to follow closer to the event.

What is Jump Festa?

Jump Festa is Shueisha’s annual mega-event, jointly hosted by five of Japan’s biggest manga magazines — Weekly Shonen Jump, Shonen Jump+, V Jump, Jump SQ., and Saikyō Jump. Every December it takes over Makuhari Messe — the same sprawling convention complex that hosts Tokyo Game Show — with franchise stage shows, world-premiere trailers, voice-actor appearances, exclusive merch, and enough announcement firepower to keep the anime internet buzzing for weeks.

JF2027 will occupy Halls 1–9 and Hall 11, keeping the expanded footprint that the event has used since 2026.

What to Expect in December

Shueisha hasn’t confirmed the franchise lineup for JF2027 yet — that information typically drops through individual Jump magazine announcements and the official JF website in the months leading up to the event. But based on what’s currently airing and in production, Singapore fans will almost certainly be watching for news on:

  • Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Infinity Castle Part 2, with the first film having already become a generational event for SG fans
  • Dragon Ball Super: The Galactic Patrol, which has been teased in Jump magazines

It’s worth noting that Jump Festa regularly springs genuine surprises. The Chainsaw Man: International Assassins Arc, JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run anime premiere date and Black Clover Season 2 were all confirmed at Jump Festa 2026 — none of them were in the pre-event speculation lists. Expect at least one or two out-of-nowhere reveals this December.

What Jump Festa 2026 Delivered

Jump Festa 2026 (held December 20–21, 2025 at Makuhari Messe) set a high bar. Alongside the announcements above, Shueisha used the event to drop a first trailer for the fourth and final arc of Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, confirm the Elbaph arc premiere date for One Piece, and reveal a Dan Da Dan Season 3 key visual. The main Jump Super Stage was livestreamed globally — Singapore fans watching from home at 9 AM were refreshing their feeds just as fast as fans queuing at Chiba.

Shueisha has confirmed all three stages — Jump Super Stage, Jump Studio, and Jump Station — will return for 2027, though a full schedule and performer lineup will only be revealed later in the year.

Planning Your December Trip from Singapore

December 19–20 sits right at the start of Singapore’s year-end school holidays, which makes it a realistic travel window for families and students alike. Makuhari Messe is in Chiba — roughly 30 minutes from central Tokyo on the JR Keiyo Line — so it pairs naturally with a wider Japan year-end trip.

Singapore Airlines, Scoot, and Jetstar all fly direct Singapore to Tokyo (Narita or Haneda). Narita is marginally closer to Makuhari Messe via the JR Sobu Line or Keisei Skyliner connection. Accommodation in the Makuhari area books out fast for Jump Festa weekend, so if you are seriously considering attending in person, now is not too early to start watching flight and hotel prices.

GARRACK Demon Slayer Watches Add Upper Moon Villains at Narita

Japanese watchmaker GARRACK arrived at Narita International Airport last week carrying three anime franchises on their dials — and the Demon Slayer collection just grew with three new Upper Moon villain watches that fans have been waiting for.

Kanazawa Gold Leaf and the Full Demon Slayer Lineup

GARRACK’s Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba collection is the most expansive of the three. Each watch features an automatic mechanical movement with a dial hand-finished in Kanazawa gold leaf (金沢箔) — a traditional craft from Ishikawa Prefecture, Japan, where artisans beat gold into sheets thinner than a micron before applying them by hand. No two dials come out identically, which is part of the appeal.

The full lineup spans 16 characters including every Hashira: Tanjiro, Nezuko, Zenitsu, Inosuke, Rengoku, Giyu, Shinobu, Uzui, Muichiro, Kanroji, Sanemi, Iguro and Himejima. Three new models — Douma, Akaza and Kaigaku — have just been added to the collection, bringing the Upper Moon villain trio into the fold for the first time. Two advance-sale models — Kanao Tsuyuri and Genya Shinazugawa — round out the lineup.

Prices run ¥74,800–¥77,000 (tax included) per piece, placing these firmly in collector and gifting territory.

Ultraman Heroes in Raden Mother-of-Pearl

GARRACK’s Ultraman series takes a different craft route: raden (螺鈿), the art of cutting and inlaying mother-of-pearl from shells to create iridescent patterns on watch dials. Artisans in Takaoka, Toyama — a region with over 400 years of metalwork tradition — hand-finish each piece. The effect is a shifting, luminescent surface that reads very differently from the gold leaf Demon Slayer variants.

Three Ultraman heroes are represented: Ultraman Tiga, Ultraman Zero and Ultraman Z (Zett). Prices are ¥77,000–¥79,200 (tax included).

Evangelion Raden Watches: Three Eva Units

The Evangelion collection, which GameTrader.SG covered when pre-orders opened in June, is also part of the Narita debut. Unit-01 (Shinji) is priced at ¥77,000; Unit-00 (Rei) and Unit-02 (Asuka) at ¥79,200 each. Like Ultraman, these use raden mother-of-pearl craftsmanship.

Narita Airport Terminal 3 — and Online for Singapore Fans

From 30 June 2026, all three collections are on display at Fa-So-La SOUVENIR AKIHABARA ANNEX inside Terminal 3 at Narita International Airport, where they join the store’s existing lineup of Japanese pop-culture goods. Ueni Trading describes the Narita placement as a limited-time offering, so availability may change — if you’re heading to Japan and transiting through Narita, it is worth a detour into the Terminal 3 shops to see them in person.

Narita is a primary hub for Singapore Airlines and Scoot flights to Tokyo, making this a realistic pick-up point for Singapore fans on Japan trips. Crunchyroll confirmed the date officially: 28 July at 8:00 a.m. PT, which lands at 11:00 p.m. SGT the same night. Set your alarms. The film will be available worldwide — excluding Japan and Mainland China — in both Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub. Demon Slayer fans and Switch 2 owners, mark your calendars. Aniplex and CyberConnect2 have confirmed a dedicated Nintendo Switch 2 Edition of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – The Hinokami Chronicles 2, launching physically in Japan on 29 October 2026. The news broke via Weekly Jump, Japan’s flagship manga anthology, and was reported by Gematsu on 25 June.

What the Switch 2 Edition Includes

The physical Nintendo Switch 2 Edition carries a price of ¥7,810 and bundles the “Infinity Castle – Part 1 Character Pass” right in the box. For Singapore fans who caught Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Part 1 in cinemas last August and fell in love with its lineup of Hashira and Upper Moons, this is the DLC pack worth picking up.

CyberConnect2 has also confirmed that an Upgrade Pack will be available for players who already own the original Switch version and want to bring their save data across to the Switch 2 edition — though pricing for the upgrade has not yet been announced.

40+ Characters and Infinity Castle Story Content

The Hinokami Chronicles 2 launched on 1 August 2025 in Japan and 5 August 2025 internationally across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, the original Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The game expanded on its predecessor with over 40 playable characters, a revamped combat system, and new story chapters spanning the Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training arcs.

With the Infinity Castle film having dominated Singapore box offices when it opened in August 2025, appetite for in-game content tied to those new characters has been high among local players. The Switch 2 Edition bundles the character pass from day one, making it the most complete physical version of the game available.

Getting It in Singapore

At time of writing, only a Japan physical launch date — 29 October 2026 — has been confirmed. The original game was published internationally by Sega, and a global announcement for the Switch 2 Edition is expected but has not been made. Singapore players who want the Switch 2 version at launch will need to import from Japan or wait for Sega’s global rollout.

The Switch 2 is region-free for game cards, so a Japanese physical copy runs on any Singapore console without modification. Do check retailer listings before importing, as Japanese game packages may not include English subtitles or menus — confirm language support before buying. SGD pricing for a potential Singapore or international release has not been announced.
