Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle Is Now Streaming in Singapore

Tonight is the night. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba — Infinity Castle I — the record-breaking finale that spent months as the highest-grossing anime film of all time — is now available to stream in Singapore. Netflix has it live across Asia from today, and Crunchyroll opens at 11:00 p.m. SGT. When the streaming date was confirmed earlier this month, Netflix Singapore’s availability was still listed as to be confirmed. It’s confirmed now.

Crunchyroll: 11 PM SGT Tonight

Crunchyroll brings the film worldwide from 8:00 a.m. PT on 28 July, which lands at 11:00 p.m. SGT. It’s a late-night start but arguably the ideal way to experience it: Japanese original audio with English subtitles is available alongside the English theatrical dub. Southeast Asia viewers also get subtitle tracks in Thai, Chinese (Traditional), Indonesian, and Melayu — making it one of the most thoroughly localised anime film releases the region has received.

What Infinity Castle I Covers

The film follows directly from the Hashira Training Arc, dropping Tanjiro Kamado and the entire Demon Slayer Corps into Muzan Kibutsuji’s shapeshifting fortress. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki and animated by ufotable — the same team behind every season of the TV series — it funnels years of character build-up into a single extended encounter. If you have seen the TV series through the end of the Hashira arc, you are ready to watch with no setup needed.

For the full background on the film’s records, cast, and theatrical history, our original streaming announcement covers it in detail. In short: it is the first of three Infinity Castle films that together close the Demon Slayer story, and this first chapter represents one of the most anticipated streaming drops of the year for anime fans in Singapore.

The second and third Infinity Castle films are still in production, with no streaming dates announced yet. For Singapore fans who didn’t catch the theatrical run, Film I is where the story begins and it’s where to start — both Netflix and Crunchyroll have it covered tonight. Check the anime section for streaming news on the follow-up films when they’re confirmed.

When and Where to Watch Infinity Castle I on Crunchyroll

Crunchyroll confirmed the date officially: 28 July at 8:00 a.m. PT, which lands at 11:00 p.m. SGT the same night. Set your alarms. The film will be available worldwide — excluding Japan and Mainland China — in both Japanese with English subtitles and an English dub. For viewers across Singapore and Southeast Asia, Crunchyroll is also providing subtitles in Thai, Chinese (Traditional), Indonesian, and Melayu, making this one of the most accessible anime film releases for the region to date.

The film is also slated for digital purchase in North America on the same date via Apple TV, Prime Video, Google Play, YouTube, and Fandango. Singapore digital availability is to be confirmed.

The Battle That Broke Records

Infinity Castle I is the first chapter of a three-part cinematic trilogy marking the final showdown of the Demon Slayer saga. Following the Hashira Training Arc, Tanjiro and the Corps are plunged into Muzan Kibutsuji’s stronghold — the Infinity Castle — where the long-anticipated war between Demon Slayer Corps and demons ignites in full.

The film became the highest-grossing anime film of all time upon its theatrical run, earning a Golden Globe nomination for Best Animated Motion Picture, a Producers Guild of America nomination, and a BAFTA longlist spot. Directed by Haruo Sotozaki and animated by ufotable — the same creative team behind the entire TV series — the film is the culmination of over a decade of anime storytelling that began with Tanjiro’s sister Nezuko being turned into a demon.
