Uxie Raids Return to Asia-Pacific — Singapore Guide (Aug 5–11)

Uxie, the Lake Guardian of knowledge, is returning to Asia-Pacific 5-star Raid Battles starting tomorrow, 5 August. Singapore trainers have a full week — 5 to 11 August — to chase this regional exclusive, and Shiny Uxie is on the table for every trainer who clears the raid. If you haven’t got one yet, this is your window.

Event Dates and How to Join

Uxie appears in local 5-star Gym eggs from Wednesday 5 August at 6:00 AM until Tuesday 11 August at 10:00 PM (both in your local Singapore time). You’ll spot it by the 5-star egg tier on any Gym — tap in, fill your lobby, and battle. As part of the ongoing Summer Marathon: Arctic Embers event, there’s already solid raid activity across the city, so finding lobbies at popular stops should be straightforward.

Region Map — Who Gets Which Lake Guardian?

The three Lake Guardians split by region every time they rotate in, and the split for 5–11 August is:

  • Asia-Pacific (including Singapore): Uxie
  • Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India: Mesprit
  • The Americas and Greenland: Azelf

This matters because these three are genuine regional exclusives — you cannot encounter Uxie outside Asia-Pacific during a standard rotation. If you want Mesprit or Azelf, you’ll need to raid remotely with a friend in those regions.

How to Beat Uxie — Weaknesses and Best Counters

Uxie is a pure Psychic-type, which gives it three clear weaknesses: Bug, Dark, and Ghost. It resists Fighting and Psychic moves, so avoid those. Its unusually high Defence stat means Uxie hits harder on the clock than its Attack suggests — bring 3 to 4 trainers for a comfortable clear.

Top picks for your Uxie raid team:

  • Necrozma (Dawn Wings) — Snarl + Shadow Ball
  • Mega Mewtwo Y — Shadow Claw + Shadow Ball
  • Mega Tyranitar — Bite + Brutal Swing
  • Shadow Hydreigon — Bite + Brutal Swing
  • Darkrai — Snarl + Shadow Ball
  • Chandelure — Hex + Shadow Ball
  • Shadow Tyranitar — Bite + Brutal Swing
  • Mega Absol — Snarl + Dark Pulse

Dark- and Ghost-type attackers are your best DPS. If you’re running a smaller group of 2–3, stack your top shadows and Megas. Windy weather boosts Uxie’s Psychic moves — plan accordingly.

Raid Hour: Wednesday 5 August, 6–7 PM

The Raid Hour on Wednesday 5 August from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM SGT is the single best window of the week. During that hour, Gyms across Singapore will have a significantly higher number of 5-star Raid eggs — Uxie in every one of them. Completing in-person raids during Raid Hour also earns you Rare Candy XL, which is worth stacking if you’re building out a powered-up Uxie for PvP. Coordinate a raid group at a busy Pokestop cluster (Orchard, Marina Bay, Dhoby Ghaut) for the easiest lobbies.

Can You Get a Shiny Uxie?

Yes — Shiny Uxie is available from every eligible raid encounter. Normal Uxie has a pale cream-and-blue colour palette; the Shiny form swaps that out for a warm golden-yellow body, which makes it immediately recognisable on the catch screen. The shiny rate on Legendary raids is roughly 1 in 20, so running multiple raids over the week gives you a realistic shot. Raid Hour is your best single opportunity to burn through several in one go.

What CP Is a Perfect Uxie?

After the raid, watch for these catch CPs to identify a high-IV Uxie:

  • 1,442 CP — perfect 100% IV at standard Level 20 encounter
  • 1,803 CP — 100% IV weather-boosted (Level 25, triggered by Windy weather)

Use a Golden Razz Berry and throw a Curveball for the best catch rate. Because Uxie’s IV floor from raids is 10/10/10, any catch already has decent stats — but if you’re targeting the Great League, be aware you may want to trade to reroll IVs, since raid catches are locked above the 1,500 CP cap without powering down very far.

Kyurem Raid Hour Tonight in Pokémon GO — Shiny Available, Rare Candy XL Bonus

Kyurem is the current 5-Star Raid boss in Pokémon GO, and if you have been waiting for the right moment to challenge it, that moment is tonight. Wednesday Raid Hour runs from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM SGT, packing Legendary Raids into gyms across the island — meaning more encounters, more chances at the Shiny form, and less time wandering between gyms looking for active eggs.

Raid Hour Details: Wednesday, 29 July, 6–7 PM Local Time

Pokémon GO’s weekly Raid Hour takes place every Wednesday at the same time: 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM your local time. For Singapore trainers, that means 6:00–7:00 PM SGT tonight. During that hour, gyms in range flood with 5-Star eggs, dramatically cutting down the time between battles compared to a regular raid session. You can reasonably chain four to six fights in that window if you are near a cluster of gyms — think around Suntec City, Bugis, or any neighbourhood park with three or four gyms in walking distance.

Kyurem is an Ice and Dragon type Legendary. Its vulnerabilities include Steel, Fighting, Rock, Fire, Dragon, and Fairy moves. Reliable counters include Machamp, Lucario, and Conkeldurr for Fighting-type pressure; Metagross and Dialga for Steel; and Rhyperior or Rampardos for Rock. Avoid Dragon-type attackers unless you are confident Kyurem will not land a Dragon Claw or Dragon Breath before you can faint it.

Free Rare Candy XL All Day on In-Person Raids

Starting at midnight local time and running through 11:59 PM tonight (Wednesday, 29 July), every completed in-person Raid Battle earns you one Rare Candy XL. That bonus stacks across all raid tiers, so even grinding lower-star raids between the Kyurem attempts counts. Rare Candy XL is one of the scarcest resources in the game for powering up Pokémon to Level 50, so tonight’s session doubles as a stardust-efficient candy run — use your free daily Raid Pass on Kyurem, then spend a Premium Battle Pass or two on whatever else is in your gyms.

Shiny Kyurem Is Available

Yes — Shiny Kyurem is in the encounter pool. The golden-tinted palette swap flips Kyurem’s dark grey body to a warm amber-gold with white accents, making it one of the better-looking shiny Legendaries around. Shiny odds in standard 5-Star Raids sit at roughly 1 in 20, so a solid Raid Hour session gives you a meaningful number of attempts. Check each catch screen carefully before tapping away.

Looking Ahead: Uxie Raid Hour Next Wednesday — Singapore Included

Next Wednesday’s Raid Hour (5 August) brings a trio of Lake Guardians: Uxie, Mesprit, and Azelf. These three are region-locked — and Uxie is the Asia-Pacific exclusive, which means Singapore trainers are the ones who get it. Mesprit is locked to Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and India; Azelf is Americas and Greenland. If you have friends overseas who still need Uxie for their Pokédex, next Wednesday is a prime Remote Raid window to share. Mark the calendar now so you do not miss it.

Pokémon GO Road of Legends: Singapore Raid Guide July 6–10

The Road of Legends is live in Pokémon GO right now — and if you have not checked your nearby raid gyms yet today, it is time to put that right. Every Legendary Pokémon, Ultra Beast, and Primal ever to feature in five-star raids is back, rotating daily through July 10, with a dedicated Raid Hour tonight at 6pm SGT.

What Is the Road of Legends?

Running from 12:01am on Monday 6 July to 11:59pm on Friday 10 July (local time), the Road of Legends is Niantic’s official hype-up week before Pokémon GO Fest 2026: Global on the weekend of 11–12 July. According to Niantic, it is designed to let trainers stock up on Legendary candy and optimise their raid squads before the biggest Pokémon GO event of the year — and this year GO Fest Global is completely free for all trainers, meaning the whole Singapore community can jump in without spending a cent on a ticket.

Any Pokémon caught from five-star raids between 6 and 12 July has a chance to come with a brand-new Special Background — the new in-game collectible art introduced for GO Fest 2026. That alone makes this the most visually rewarding raid week Pokémon GO has ever run.

Road of Legends Daily Raid Schedule

Each day brings a different rotation of five-star and Mega raid bosses, with a Raid Hour from 6pm to 7pm every evening (Primal Raid Hour on Friday runs 7pm–8pm instead). Here is the full week:

  • Monday 6 July (Today) — 50+ Legendary Pokémon and Ultra Beasts in five-star raids: the Legendary Birds, Legendary Beasts, Dialga, Palkia (standard formes), Genesect variants, Tapu guardians, and more. Mega Salamence in Mega Raids. Raid Hour: 6–7pm.
  • Tuesday 7 July — White Kyurem, Zekrom, Dawn Wings Necrozma (five-star); Mega Tyranitar (Mega). Raid Hour: 6–7pm.
  • Wednesday 8 July — Black Kyurem, Reshiram, Dusk Mane Necrozma (five-star); Mega Gardevoir (Mega). Raid Hour: 6–7pm.
  • Thursday 9 July — Crowned Sword Zacian, Crowned Shield Zamazenta (five-star); Mega Gengar (Mega). Raid Hour: 6–7pm.
  • Friday 10 July — Origin Forme Dialga, Origin Forme Palkia (five-star); Primal Kyogre and Primal Groudon (Primal Raids). Primal Raid Hour: 7–8pm.

Friday is the crown jewel: Origin Forme Dialga and Origin Forme Palkia are two of the strongest Pokémon in the entire GO meta, and catching either one this week activates the Elite TM window described below.

Elite TM Alert — Spacial Rend and Roar of Time

For a limited window from July 6 through July 12, Trainers can use an Elite Charged TM to teach Origin Forme Palkia the Charged Attack Spacial Rend, or teach Origin Forme Dialga the Charged Attack Roar of Time. Both are the signature moves for each Pokémon and their best-in-slot option for raids and GO Battle League. If you already have either one sitting in your storage from a past event, now is your confirmed window to give them the move they deserve.

Special Backgrounds — A Brand-New Collectible

Pokémon caught from five-star, Primal, and Mega Raid Battles between 6 and 12 July have a chance to come with a Special Background — a new category of in-game artwork that displays behind your Pokémon on the storage screen. These exist purely as a visual collectible, but they mark your Pokémon as caught during this specific event window in a very visible way. Singapore trainers doing organised raid groups this week will be seeing a lot of them — and missing the window means no Special Background until Niantic brings the feature back for a future event.

All the Event Bonuses Running Through July 12

These bonuses are active from Road of Legends straight through the end of GO Fest Global:

  • No Remote Raid Pass cap — remote-raid with friends in Singapore or anywhere else, as many times as you like.
  • 2 free Raid Passes daily by spinning Photo Discs at Gyms (the usual daily cap is one).
  • Enhanced Premier Ball catch rates after every raid.
  • Faster Party Power charge in raids — co-ordinate your throws and you will land the bonus sooner.
  • Special event stickers from PokéStops and Gifts.

Where Singapore Trainers Should Head Tonight

Raid Hour starts at 6pm SGT every evening this week. The usual hotspots will be busy: gyms along Marina Bay waterfront, the cluster around Dhoby Ghaut MRT, the Botanic Gardens, and Clarke Quay all tend to see organised raid groups during major events. Jewel Changi Airport is a popular indoor option for weekend sessions, especially with the air-conditioning. Check your local Pokémon GO Singapore Telegram or Discord groups for any raid trains forming tonight — Monday’s mass-legendary Raid Hour is the widest one of the week, and five-star raids are easiest when you walk in with a full group of six.

And here is the final motivation: Mega Mewtwo X and Y make their Pokémon GO world debut at GO Fest Global on 11–12 July. They are the most powerful Mega Evolutions in the game, and this Road of Legends week is your prep time. Get your Legendary candy, secure your Elite TMs, and come back this weekend ready.
