Poncle’s genre-defining roguelike is getting another chapter this week. Legacy of the Bloodmoon, the next paid expansion for Vampire Survivors, launches on 28 August 2026 — and it will set you back just $0.99 (or your regional storefront equivalent). An entire new story arc, new cast and new stage, all for under a dollar.
What the Legacy of the Bloodmoon Expansion Adds to Vampire Survivors

The DLC is a self-contained story chapter built around a brand-new cast. The full content haul:
- 10+ new playable characters — Malice Bloodmoon, Calogero Bloodmoon, the ancient Saint Baal’Thasar, Ashtart, Sargon, and more
- 16+ new weapons and evolved forms — Scarlet Needle, Incineration, Blacken Firmament, FireBall, and a full web of evolutions
- One new XL stage: Red Moon Manor, described as “the ancient lair of the Order of the Red Moon”
- 8 new music tracks
Players who already own the earlier Legacy of the Moonspell DLC will also receive free bonus unlocks that expand that pack’s replayability — no additional spend needed.
Clan Bloodmoon vs the Order of the Red Moon

The DLC’s story follows Clan Bloodmoon — led by the ruthless matron Malice and the monstrous Calogero — on a quest to find a paradise first discovered by Saint Baal’Thasar, founder of the sinister Order of the Red Moon. It is classic Vampire Survivors storytelling: cryptic, melodramatic, and completely committed to the bit. The mythology is dense and the characters are ridiculous in the best way.
All Platforms, One Very Small Price

Legacy of the Bloodmoon launches simultaneously on every platform Vampire Survivors calls home: PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, iOS, and Android. The $0.99 USD price (check your local storefront for the SGD equivalent) makes it an effortless add-on for anyone who already owns the base game.
Mobile is worth a specific mention for Singapore players: Vampire Survivors on iOS and Android runs smoothly on most phones, and DLC content carries over exactly as it does on console and PC. If you have been grinding stages on your phone, the new characters and Red Moon Manor stage will be ready for you on 28 August.
