The physical Japan Limited Edition of Super Bomberman Collection ships on August 27, 2026, and for retro gaming collectors in Singapore, this is the one worth importing. Seven classic Bomberman titles — including Super Bomberman 4 and Super Bomberman 5 in English for the very first time — plus exclusive merchandise, all in a single package.
What Is Super Bomberman Collection?
Published digitally by Konami and physically by Clouded Leopard Entertainment, the collection launched on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 eShops on February 5, 2026. The August 27 physical release is the new development here — and it comes with Japan-region exclusive merchandise that the western physical release (from Red Art Games) does not include.
The seven-game lineup:
- Bomberman (1985, Famicom/NES)
- Bomberman II (1991, Famicom)
- Super Bomberman (1993, Super Famicom)
- Super Bomberman 2 (1994)
- Super Bomberman 3 (1995)
- Super Bomberman 4 (1996) — first official English release
- Super Bomberman 5 (1997) — first official English release
A free update that landed on August 20 also added Super Bomberman: Panic Bomber W, another previously Japan-only Super Famicom title, to the collection at no extra cost for all owners.
What’s in the Japan Limited Edition
Clouded Leopard calls this the “Asia Limited Edition” on their English website, but Japanese retailers list it as the Japan Limited Edition. Either way, it includes four exclusive extras beyond the game itself:
- Original T-shirt featuring Bomberman characters from all five Super Bomberman games
- Lenticular card with angle-shifting image
- Pouch styled after the classic Super Multitap 2 Bomberman peripheral
- Reprint booklet reproducing the original instruction manuals from all five Super Bomberman titles
The PS5 Japan Limited Edition is confirmed at ¥9,680 (approximately SGD $88). Switch 2 Limited Edition pricing is to be confirmed, though a slight premium over the PS5 version is typical for Switch 2 physical releases. Standard editions start from ¥5,478.
How Singapore Fans Can Import
The collection has full multi-language support — English, French, German, Spanish, and Japanese — so importing from Japan presents no language barrier. CDJapan has the PS5 Limited Edition already listed (product code CPJS-50002) and ships internationally to Singapore. Amazon Japan also carries Clouded Leopard releases. EMS shipping to Singapore typically runs one to two weeks.
Western fans have a separate physical option via Red Art Games — North America gets it August 25, Europe on August 28, and Xbox Series X is also included in those versions — but the Red Art release does not include the Japan Limited Edition’s merchandise pack.
