Passione has locked in an October 2026 premiere for its anime adaptation of FX Warrior Kurumi-chan, and alongside the date the studio unveiled the full main cast and ending theme — giving fall anime fans in Singapore their first complete look at one of the season’s more distinctive picks.
Forex, Family Debt, and One Very Determined Student
FX Warrior Kurumi-chan follows Kurumi Fukuga, a university student who throws herself into the high-stakes world of foreign exchange (forex / FX) trading with a deeply personal goal: recovering the ¥20 million her late mother lost through bad FX positions. Those losses trace back to the fallout from the 2008 Lehman Brothers collapse, and clawing back the debt has become Kurumi’s driving obsession. She is not alone — she quickly finds herself fighting the markets alongside other “FX warriors,” each trading for their own reasons and with their own hard-learned techniques.
The source manga is written by Demunyan with art by Daisuki Tansan, and has been running in Monthly Comic Flapper (Kadokawa) since February 2021 — though it started life as a webcomic as far back as October 2016. Nine volumes are in print as of January 2026.
Staff and Voice Cast
Animation production is handled by Studio Passione, with Yuki Ogawa directing and Kenta Ihara (series composition on Vinland Saga and Sabikui Bisco) writing the scripts. Character design goes to Kazuyuki Ueda, and the score is composed by Takuro Iga.

- Mochiko Kogane — Asami Seto
- Mebuki Yamashi — Ayasa Ito
- Yasuko Takane — Miho Okasaki
The ending theme is “$・¥・€” (Dollar, Yen, Euro), composed by Toshitomo Hayata and performed in character by Aina Suzuki. No opening theme has been announced yet.
Singapore Fans Can Watch on Crunchyroll
Crunchyroll is confirmed as the international streaming platform, which means Singapore subscribers can watch from day one without any workaround. The October 2026 premiere places it firmly in the fall season — a crowded slot, but FX Warrior Kurumi-chan carves out its own lane. Financial thrillers are genuinely rare in anime, and few series centre their drama so tightly on forex trading and the human cost of margin calls.
