Steel Ball Run 2nd Stage Hits Netflix 25 September — New Preview Images Drop

Fresh preview images dropped today for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Steel Ball Run 2nd Stage, and they make one thing clear — the cross-country race is about to get a lot more dangerous. Netflix confirmed that the 2nd Stage begins streaming on 25 September 2026, with 11 episodes dropping weekly on Fridays. Singapore fans can catch it on Netflix the same day as the global rollout.

What the 2nd Stage Covers

Stages 2 and 3 of the Steel Ball Run race send Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli deep into the American West, tackling an approximately 750-mile desert crossing. The new images zero in on a stretch locals call the Devil’s Palm — a region with a history of disappearances stretching back to 1875, when 26 cavalry soldiers vanished without a trace. What looked like a straightforward race on horseback is quietly revealing itself as something far stranger.

New Characters Joining the Race

Three major characters enter the picture in the 2nd Stage, each with their own agenda and Stand abilities:

  • Mountain Tim — voiced by Tomoaki Maeno, a bounty hunter who can manipulate rope and his own body
  • Hot Pants — voiced by Yoko Hikasa, a rider with a Stand capable of moulding flesh itself
  • Funny Valentine — voiced by Tomokazu Sugita, the US President and the race’s true power behind the scenes

The returning core cast — Shogo Sakata as Johnny and Yohei Azakami as Gyro — are joined again by Kaito Ishikawa as Diego Brando and Rie Takahashi as Lucy Steel. The production team stays consistent too: series director Toshiyuki Kato and episode directors Yasuhiro Kimura and Hideya Takahashi (who helmed Golden Wind) lead the studio david production, with Yugo Kanno handling the score.
