The Gran Turismo World Series is coming to Southeast Asia for the first time ever — and Singapore is the host. Round 3 of the 2026 championship lands at the Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands on Saturday, 3 October 2026, with tickets on sale now from SGD 38.

Gran Turismo World Series Singapore: What to Expect
The 2026 Gran Turismo World Series is the premier competitive circuit for Gran Turismo 7, pitting the world’s fastest virtual racers against each other in the Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup. One ticket gets you into a full day of racing — both the Manufacturers Cup and Nations Cup rounds, plus the special Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup support race that kicks off the programme.
Twelve racing seats will be lined up on stage at the Sands Theatre, with all the race action displayed live on a large screen above the drivers. UK TV presenter Jules Hardy hosts, alongside commentators Tom Brooks and Jimmy Broadbent.
The Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup
The event opens with the Singapore Regional Gran Turismo Cup — a dedicated support race showcasing homegrown regional talent. The 12-car grid brings together the six fastest drivers from Singapore and the single fastest qualifier from Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand, South Korea, Malaysia, and Indonesia, all of whom earned their places through an in-game August Time Trial Challenge.
For Singapore fans, this is the closest you will get to watching local players compete on the same stage as the World Series field — a genuine one-of-a-kind experience tied directly to a city that has long been a fixture on the real-world Formula 1 calendar.
Tickets and How to Book
Tickets are on sale now via the official Gran Turismo World Series ticketing page. Two tiers are available:
- Premium Tickets — priority seating in the premium area of the Sands Theatre
- Signature Tickets — limited to 100 seats, closest to the stage; includes a Meet & Greet session with World Series drivers plus autographs
Prices start from SGD 38 (booking fees apply). Discounts are available for attendees under 18, students, and military/service members. Round 3 – Singapore also marks the last points-scoring opportunity before the World Finals in Tokyo in early December, so the championship stakes will be real.
The event is part of Grand Prix Season Singapore (2–11 October), organised in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, running in the lead-up to the Formula 1 race weekend on 9–11 October. For more on gaming and pop-culture events in Singapore, check our events coverage.
GT7 Spec IV — The Biggest Free Update Yet

The Singapore event also has a direct link to Gran Turismo 7’s most significant content update to date. Polyphony Digital announced the Spec IV update at the State of Play on 3 September — a free, two-part addition dropping in October and December 2026 — and confirmed that full details of what’s inside will be revealed at the Singapore World Series round on 3 October.
What’s in Spec IV

Here is what Polyphony has confirmed so far across the two parts:
October 2026:
- New circuit: Sportsland SUGO — the 3.7 km Japanese technical track known for its elevation changes and iconic Dunlop bridge
- Six new cars
- New Spec IV opening cinematic
- Vintage — a section dedicated to cars no longer available for purchase new
- Car Concierge — order Used and Legend cars on demand
- Experience — brand-specific driving challenges
- Car Viewer — inspect your garage collection up close
- Raised Collector Level cap
December 2026:
- New circuit: Autumn Ring — the fan-favourite from the original Gran Turismo, returning after decades away
- Six new cars
- Family — an accessible mode for players of all skill levels
- Shuffle Race — luck-based races with randomly assigned cars
- Online Drift Trial — worldwide drifting competition

That is 12 new cars and two new circuits in a single free update wave — a bigger content drop than anything GT7 has received since launch. If you are a PS5 owner who already owns Gran Turismo 7, the October part lands a month before the Autumn Ring December drop, making the Singapore World Series event on 3 October a genuine announcement stage for the full car and feature list.
Tickets for the 3 October event are on sale now at gran-turismo.com.
