Mbappé’s Fourth Cover — First Under the FC Name

Mbappé previously appeared on the covers of FIFA 21, FIFA 22, and FIFA 23, all while at Paris Saint-Germain. This is his fourth overall series cover but his first under the EA Sports FC branding, and it comes on the back of one of the most watched World Cup performances in recent memory — 10 goals and the Golden Boot at the 2026 tournament. He is pictured in Real Madrid’s white kit, reflecting his move to the Spanish capital that has seen him become arguably the best player on the planet.

The Standard Edition features a different cover composition to the Ultimate Edition — and it’s not just cosmetic. EA has confirmed that the background of the Standard Edition art is actually the first look at FC The Grounds, the new open-world social hub at the centre of FC 27.

FC The Grounds: An Open World Replaces the Menu Screen

The headline new feature in FC 27 is FC The Grounds — a walkable, 3D open-world hub that replaces the traditional menu-based navigation. Instead of moving through screens to reach different game modes, players will explore a football-themed environment divided into districts inspired by famous footballing nations, with architecture drawing on cities like Paris and London.

Within The Grounds, players can access the full range of FC 27 modes, interact with other players online, take part in street football activities (similar to the returning Volta-style gameplay), try new mini-games including football tennis, and customise their avatar. Brand partnerships with Nike, Adidas, and Puma are reportedly integrated into the space as in-world shops. It is the most ambitious structural change EA has made to the series since the FIFA-to-FC rebrand.

Nintendo Switch 2 support is notably confirmed from day one — a first for the EA Sports FC series on Nintendo’s newest hardware. Owners of the Ultimate Edition, as well as active EA Play and EA Play Pro subscribers, will receive early access to FC 27 ahead of the main September 25 launch date.

Pre-Order and Pricing

Pre-orders are open today across all major platforms. EA has confirmed a price of USD $69.99 for the Standard Edition; Singapore dollar pricing is yet to be confirmed and will vary by storefront. What Is Blue Reflection Quartet?

Blue Reflection Quartet is the definitive collection of the entire Blue Reflection series, bringing all four entries under one roof for the first time. The series follows high-school girls known as Reflectors who draw power from the emotions of those around them — part slice-of-life, part magical-girl RPG, with striking art by illustrator Mel Kishida, who also served as character designer and general supervisor on the collection.

Quartet packs in four distinct games, each updated or adapted for this release:

Blue Reflection — the original 2017 PS4 title, now with updated textures and visual effects.
Blue Reflection: Second Light — widely regarded as the series high point, with eight additional characters added and quality-of-life improvements throughout.
Blue Reflection: Sun — the mobile entry, rebuilt as a full console experience with a revised battle system.
Blue Reflection: Ray — a condensed version of the 24-episode anime adaptation, recreated with 3D characters playable as a standalone story.

On top of the four games, a Reference database ties the universe together with chronological flowcharts, character relationship maps, and an official artwork gallery — handy for newcomers trying to make sense of the interconnected cast.

Digital pre-orders are live now on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop for USD 49.99. Pre-ordering before launch nets a set of four special photo frames usable in Blue Reflection: Second Light’s photo mode, representing each title in the collection. A free Quartet photo frame is also available to anyone who grabs the digital version before 12 August 2026.

GTA 6 Pre-Orders Start June 25 — Here’s What to Do Now

Pre-orders go live on June 25 across digital storefronts — the PlayStation Store and Microsoft Store — as well as at select physical retailers including Amazon and GameStop. Rockstar is inviting fans to wishlist Grand Theft Auto VI on the PlayStation Store or Microsoft Store right now to receive a notification the moment pre-orders open.

Official pricing has not been announced. Specific editions and bonuses are also yet to be confirmed, with Rockstar indicating more details will follow closer to the June 25 pre-order launch. The newly revealed cover art follows Grand Theft Auto’s signature collage format — the same approach used for GTA V back in 2013. Protagonists Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos take centre stage at the top of the artwork, with a cast of Vice City characters, vehicles (a seaplane, a speedboat, sports cars, motorcycles), and Florida wildlife including an alligator filling the surrounding panels. An updated GTA VI logo with a new all-white border appears prominently. It is unmistakably GTA, and unmistakably Vice City.

Vice City Returns: What We Know About GTA 6

Rockstar first revealed Grand Theft Auto VI in December 2023 with a trailer that instantly became one of the most-watched game trailers in history. The game is set in a fictional version of Miami and the surrounding South Florida region — Vice City, the series’ beloved sun-soaked crime playground, returning for the first time in a mainline entry since 2002. The story follows dual protagonists Jason and Lucia navigating the criminal underbelly of the state of Leonida.

Development has been ongoing under intense secrecy for years. With a November 19, 2026 release date locked in and pre-orders just a week away, the finishing line is finally in sight. A PC release has not been confirmed at this stage; Rockstar has officially announced PS5 and Xbox Series X/S for launch.
