Street Fighter 6: Arjun Gets October 13 Launch Date and Full Gameplay Trailer

Mark your calendar: Arjun joins Street Fighter 6 on October 13, 2026. Capcom dropped a full gameplay trailer on September 7 confirming the date, fleshing out the moveset of SF6’s new yoga-powered bruiser after the character was first announced earlier this week. Singapore’s FGC can start clearing the schedule now.

What the Gameplay Trailer Shows

The trailer confirms that Arjun is built around Yogic Breathing — a mechanic where breath control charges his attacks and generates smoky projectiles that can be redirected mid-air at unusual angles. It makes him a genuine zoner with teeth: he can wall opponents out with angled breath shots, then punish with a near-full-screen shoulder charge called Arm of Justice that stays frame-advantaged on block.

Other confirmed tools:

  • Divine Pillar — ground-based breathing summons earth pillars for okizeme, keeping pressure on after a knockdown
  • Indomitable Defense — a parry-counter that converts incoming melee into recoverable damage for the opponent, punishing aggression
  • Super Arts — three levels, from a quick burst to a cinematic multi-hit finisher involving a wind exhale sequence

Size and Matchup Profile

Arjun lands in Marisa-tier on the size chart — a big-body character, but with better mobility than you might expect. His style is deliberately deliberate: every exchange is about controlling space and forcing opponents into his traps, trading speed for consistent chip and counter-damage. That profile tends to do well in Singapore’s offline sessions where reads and footsies matter more than raw rushdown.

Year 4 Pass and How to Get Him

Arjun is the second character in the SF6 Year 4 Character Pass, following Yasmine who launched in August. He can be purchased individually or unlocked through the Year 4 Character Pass or Year 4 Ultimate Pass. After Arjun, the Year 4 roster still has Tifa Lockhart (early 2027) and Bosch (spring 2027) on the way.

Street Fighter 6 is available on Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4/5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. You can keep up with other game news right here.
