If you grew up on turn-based JRPGs, Persona 4 is almost certainly on your list of all-time greats. Atlus and P-Studio are bringing it back as Persona 4 Revival, a ground-up remake built on Unreal Engine 5, and SEGA Asia has now confirmed Singapore edition pricing ahead of the 18 February 2027 launch.
More Than a Remaster: What Revival Changes
Revival is not a coat of paint over the 2012 PS Vita classic. P-Studio rebuilt the game on Unreal Engine 5, redrawing characters, environments and menus to the visual standard set by Persona 5 Royal and Persona 3 Reload. MAPPA — the studio behind Attack on Titan‘s final season and Jujutsu Kaisen — handles the fully animated cutscenes.
The soundtrack is also new. Ryota Kozuka (who rearranged P3 Reload) leads composition, with Shiori Sasaki taking over vocal duties from the original’s Shihoko Hirata. Fans of the golden-tinged Reach Out to the Truth should expect that bittersweet Inaba flavour to carry over, just with a modern edge.
Gameplay additions bring Revival in line with later Persona titles:
- Baton Pass — chain 1 MORE attacks between party members, just like in P5
- Sprint inside the TV World dungeons (Tartarus veterans will appreciate this)
- Minimap for navigating Inaba’s streets and school
- Text-based Social Link initiation, matching the style introduced in Persona 5
- Send Flying — a new ailment-spreading mechanic that punishes enemies weak to a status
- Prime Time — a window during which abilities cost no resources
- Series Finale — a party-wide cinematic finishing move

The Investigation Team So Far
Atlus has been releasing character spotlight trailers through July. Here is who has been officially confirmed with voice cast:
- The Protagonist — voiced by Nazeeh Tarsha (EN) and Daisuke Namikawa (JP), a transfer student from the city adjusting to rural Inaba life
- Yosuke Hanamura — Paul Castro Jr. (EN) / Showtaro Morikubo (JP), the protagonist’s first ally, whose family runs the local Junes store
- Chie Satonaka — Anne Yatco (EN) / Yui Horie (JP), the energetic martial arts fan whose Persona is Tomoe
- Rise Kujikawa — Abby Trott (EN) / Rie Kugimiya (JP), the idol who retreats to Inaba after leaving the spotlight
- Yukiko Amagi — Brianna Knickerbocker (EN) / Ami Koshimizu (JP), heir to the Amagi Inn
The original Japanese cast reprise their roles in full, making this the same Investigation Team voices Persona veterans grew up with.
