What the Gamescom Trailer Reveals
The sixth official trailer, titled “The Challenges That Await,” goes deeper into the supernatural side of Musashi’s journey through Malice-twisted Edo Kyoto. The headline reveal is Oni Awakening — Musashi releasing his inner Oni strength in a fully transformed state, amplifying his combat power against Genma that would otherwise overwhelm a mortal fighter. Waiting at the end of the Oni Refuge is Daidara, a fearsome multi-phase boss that marks a significant step up in scale from the demo’s earlier encounters. Players who finish the updated demo and transfer save data to the full game unlock the “Kubi Akari” Charm plus stat bonuses when the game launches — a real incentive to run it before 4 September.
