Nintendo Direct September 10: What to Expect and When to Watch

Looks like Singapore Switch 2 fans need to free up their Wednesday evening. A Nintendo Direct is all but confirmed for September 10, 2026 — and it was, of all things, Ubisoft that let it slip.

How the Date Leaked

On 27 August, Ubisoft’s official Just Dance social accounts posted that they would share the “complete picture” of Just Dance: Decades of Hits on September 10. That phrase rang bells immediately — Just Dance has debuted at a Nintendo Direct practically every year, so pinning a reveal to a specific date is about as close to confirming one as you can get without Nintendo’s name on it.

Known leaker SwitchForce had already told followers to mark September 10 on their calendars, describing the event as “solid” but “lackluster” — in other words, a standard end-of-year showcase rather than a platform-shaking blowout. Leaker Nintendo Prime backed that up with a blunter message: “lock in 9.10.26.” Nintendo itself has said nothing, and the company typically confirms a Direct with under 24 hours’ notice, so don’t expect an official announcement until September 9 at the earliest.

When to Watch in Singapore

Based on Nintendo’s recent Directs, the September 10 showcase is expected to air at around 6–7 AM Pacific Time — that lands at 9–10 PM SGT on Wednesday, 10 September. It’s practically made for Singapore viewers: prime-time couch-watching hours, well before midnight. The June 9 Direct ran at exactly 10 PM SGT, so there’s a good precedent here.

Tune in on Nintendo’s official YouTube channel or their Twitch for the livestream. The broadcast is expected to run roughly 40 minutes and cover games launching before the end of 2026 and into early 2027.

What to Expect

Leakers are broadly aligned on the highlights. Here’s what’s shaping up as the most likely content — all unconfirmed until Nintendo speaks:

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Remake — Gameplay Reveal

The most anticipated Switch 2 exclusive still hasn’t shown a single second of actual gameplay. The June 9 teaser gave us a gorgeous CG shot of a sleeping Link in Kokiri Forest and a new logo — beautiful, yes, but fans have been waiting for more. Nintendo confirmed in its latest investor briefing that the remake is still on track for late 2026, and leakers expect September 10 to be where we finally see proper gameplay and a firm release date. For Singapore fans who’ve already bought a Switch 2, this could be the post-launch headline title they’ve been waiting for.

Just Dance: Decades of Hits — Full Reveal

Ubisoft’s retro-themed dance game launches 13 October 2026 on Nintendo Switch (and Switch 2) — and its September 10 reveal is the one thing about this Direct we can say with certainty is happening. Expect a full song list reveal, pricing, and probably a new trailer. Whether the Switch 2 version gets any exclusive features (haptics, camera modes) remains to be seen.

Ace Attorney 7 — Rumoured Announcement

Multiple leakers have pointed to an Ace Attorney 7 announcement at this Direct, which would make a lot of sense — Capcom has a Spotlight showcase on 16 September (the day before TGS opens), and a Nintendo Direct reveal the week before would build momentum perfectly. Nothing is confirmed, and Capcom has not said a word about a new mainline Ace Attorney. If it does land, it would be a massive moment for the franchise’s Singapore fanbase.

Monster Hunter Wilds — Nintendo Switch 2 Port

Capcom’s 2025 behemoth has never had a Nintendo version, and Switch 2’s hardware specs are finally in the right neighbourhood for a port. Several insiders have listed a Switch 2 version as likely for this Direct. If confirmed, expect it to join the existing Switch 2 release slate alongside the PC and current-gen versions.

Mega Man — New Details

Capcom’s Mega Man: Dual Override got its Gamescom debut last month, and a proper gameplay overview or release date at a Nintendo Direct would be a logical next step. Keep expectations measured — it may be a brief segment rather than a dedicated showcase.

One More Thing?

SwitchForce described the Direct as “solid” but stopped short of calling it a big-swing showcase. Don’t go in expecting a new 3D Mario or a Metroid reveal. That said, Nintendo has a habit of hiding at least one genuine surprise — what that might be here is anyone’s guess. We’ll know Wednesday night.
