The hack-and-slash that millions of Singaporeans remember clearing on PS2 is about to land on every current platform — remastered, expanded and ready for a new generation. Dynasty Warriors 3: Complete Edition Remastered launches globally on 1 October 2026 on PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, marking 25 years since the original changed what a Warriors game could be.
Two games in one package
The Complete Edition bundles both the original Dynasty Warriors 3 and its Xtreme Legends expansion into a single purchase. That means the full base roster plus the extra officers, unique stages, and hard-mode scenarios from Xtreme Legends — more than 40 officers in total — all in one box (or digital download). The remaster updates the visuals and controls while keeping the large-scale battlefield chaos that made the series so compulsively replayable.

New mechanics join the classic formula
Four new systems update the combat without overhauling it. Evasion adds a proper dodge roll — a series first — and a well-timed dodge triggers a Just Evasion counterattack window. Perfect Power Guard replaces the old block timing with a rewarding parry. The new Weapon Fusion system lets you combine gear to transfer skills and elemental effects between weapons, giving the loot loop a light RPG layer that players of Dynasty Warriors: Origins will find familiar.

Speaking of Origins: its protagonist Ziluan joins the cast as a guest officer. Ziluan brings a moveset tuned around their unique Twin Pike style, and their presence adds a set of new challenging scenarios designed around that playstyle — a reason to revisit even if you have all the classic officers memorised.

Split-screen co-op is back
Offline two-player split-screen returns across Musou, Free and VS modes. For Singapore players who spent school holidays clearing stages side by side on a small TV, that alone is worth the price of entry. True Musou Attacks also make a return, letting you unleash the full-screen super when you need a bail-out against an officer who won’t quit.

Pre-order bonus and TGS demo
Pre-ordering before 30 September 2026 nets you the Retro-Style Red Hare Saddle — a cosmetic item for Red Hare, the legendary mount veterans will remember sprinting across battle maps. The bonus is available on all platforms through the respective storefronts.
