After more than a decade of anime, manga, and two earlier action games, Omega Force is wrapping up the series in style. Attack on Titan 3 — the concluding chapter of Koei Tecmo and Omega Force’s action-game trilogy — launches worldwide on 10 December 2026, hitting PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on the same day. Pre-orders are live now across all platforms.
The Full Attack on Titan Saga — Survey Corps to the Bitter End
Rather than picking up mid-story, Attack on Titan 3 covers the franchise’s complete narrative arc, from the Survey Corps’ earliest expeditions beyond the walls all the way through to the series’ dramatic conclusion. According to the official Steam listing, players take on the roles of Scout Regiment members and experience the full story through the lens of on-the-ground titan-fighting action.
Singapore fans who followed the Final Season on Disney+ will recognise the battles — and now get to live them firsthand, ODM gear in hand. The game supports Japanese voices with English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text options.

Upgraded ODM Combat, Squad System, and Exterior Scouting
The omni-directional mobility gear returns with enhanced aerial mechanics — the kind of swooping, high-speed titan-slaying that made the earlier games click for fans of the anime. New to this entry is a proper squad assembly system: each Scout Regiment member brings distinct skills and signature abilities, letting you mix and match fan favourites and chain their moves during missions.
The biggest new system is Exterior Scouting: full expeditions into titan-held territory where you construct supply bases, manage ODM fuel and blade resources, and push the Survey Corps’ frontier outward. It adds a light base-management loop between the action sequences. A new Casual Mode also lowers the barrier to entry for players new to either the game series or the franchise itself.
MAPPA’s Opening Animation Is Coming — Just Not at Launch
Omega Force has confirmed that Attack on Titan 3 will feature an animated opening produced by MAPPA — the studio behind Attack on Titan: The Final Season — with direction by Arifumi Imai, who led animation on the Final Season. The catch: this opening will not be in the game at launch and will instead be added as a free post-launch update. Koei Tecmo has not confirmed a timeline for the update.
It’s an unusual move, but given the production pedigree it will be worth the wait. Think of it as a bonus for day-one buyers to look forward to.
Editions, Pre-Orders, and Bonuses
Three editions are available, with pre-orders live now on PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop, Xbox, and Steam:
- Standard Edition — Digital and physical (PS5, Switch 2, Xbox Series, PC)
- Steelbook Launch Edition — Physical only, includes premium ICONART steelbook packaging
- Digital Deluxe Edition — Adds a digital artbook, character customisation pack, equipment pack, starter items, and 72-hour early access (effectively 7 December)
All pre-orders include the “Wings of Freedom Earrings” in-game customisation item. Players with save data from previous Attack on Titan games on the same platform will receive additional bonuses — Koei Tecmo has not yet detailed what those will be.

TGS 2026 Demo: First Hands-On in September
Before the December launch, Attack on Titan 3 will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (17–21 September) at Makuhari Messe, Chiba. Koei Tecmo has confirmed a dedicated booth and stage event. If you’re travelling to TGS, it’s one of the headlining action-game demos of the show.
