Japan’s fall 2026 anime season is lining up fast, and The World’s Strongest Witch (Sekai Saikyou no Majo, Hajimemashita) has just made its case for one of the stronger debuts. A new promotional video dropped this week alongside a fully confirmed main cast — and there are some recognisable names in the lineup for Singapore fans who follow the seiyuu scene.
An Internet Skill in a Fantasy World

Lorna Hermit was born into a prestigious witch family — until her SSS-rank skill turned out to be “Internet.” Written off as a useless ability and expelled from home, she steps into the wider world for the first time and quickly realises what everyone else missed: the Internet lets her look up absolutely everything. Monster weaknesses, hidden dungeon routes, the best gear builds, rare recipes. What was dismissed as a joke skill turns out to be the most powerful tool in existence.
The premise comes from author Sakaki Mochimaru, with illustrations by riritto. A manga adaptation by Tamaki Toga runs in Kodansha’s Monthly Shōnen Sirius. The light novel currently spans thirteen volumes in Japan — the series has a solid fanbase to draw on ahead of the anime launch.
Main Cast Revealed
The newest promotional video confirms the complete main cast. Azusa Tachibana leads the series as protagonist Lorna, while Kana Hanazawa — one of the most celebrated voice actresses working in anime today — joins as Aries Tear Bluemoon, the guildmaster of the port city of Aquas. The full ensemble:
- Azusa Tachibana as Lorna Hermit
- Fairouz Ai as Elmina Manaflame
- Honoka Inoue as Erna
- Kana Hanazawa as Aries Tear Bluemoon
- Maria Naganawa as Ruru Ru Rie, a young water dragon princess
- Yuto Uemura as Reinhardt Highwind (newly announced this week)
