Ruphas Mafahl is back — and this time she brings new rivals. A Wild Last Boss Appeared! Season 2 landed its first official trailer today and confirmed an October 2026 premiere, with seven freshly announced voice cast members ready to challenge the Black-Winged Tyrant for dominance.
What Is A Wild Last Boss Appeared?
Based on the light novel series by Firehead and YahaKo, A Wild Last Boss Appeared! follows an ordinary player who logs back into a defunct fantasy MMORPG, only to find himself inhabiting the body of Ruphas Mafahl — his own creation, the game world’s most feared demon lord. Season 1 aired from October to December 2025 on Crunchyroll and won an audience for its overpowered protagonist and wry take on the isekai genre. Season 2 steps directly into the Twelve Star Heavens arc, where twelve zodiac-aligned warriors will test Ruphas one by one.

The PV sweeps across a new group key visual featuring the incoming Heavenly Stars, then closes on the opening theme “Melodic Impact” performed by rock band Suspended 4th. In Japan, the season airs from October 2026 on TOKYO MX, BS Asahi, and Kansai Television; ABEMA and U-NEXT subscribers get episodes a week early.
Seven New Voice Cast Members for the Twelve Star Heavens
The biggest name in the new cast is Takahiro Sakurai — the veteran voice actor behind Cloud Strife in Final Fantasy VII Remake and Griffith in Berserk — voicing the Star Heaven character Castor. The full lineup of seven newly confirmed cast members:

The zodiac-themed character names — Carcinops, Scorpius, Castor — signal that these are the star-aligned warriors Ruphas will face across Season 2, and having Sakurai in the mix instantly raises the dramatic stakes for the confrontations ahead.

Season 1 streamed exclusively on Crunchyroll, which is available in Singapore. International streaming for Season 2 has not yet been officially confirmed, but given the same production pipeline through NBCUniversal Anime/Music, a Crunchyroll deal for Singapore fans is the expected outcome.
