If you’re mid-pull or sitting on Astrite, read this before you do anything.

Qingxiao — Version 3.6 Phase 1 Banner (Aero / Sword)

Qingxiao is the Phase 1 featured 5-star — an Aero Sword main DPS who runs on a dual-resource system combining Guqin melodies with her sword attacks. She generates Tune Strain independently, which makes her easy to plug into existing Tune Strain team compositions without needing a second buffer to set it up. Her signature weapon is the Cloud Jasper. Denia is confirmed for a rerun banner alongside her in Phase 1.

Singapore players who finished the Mengzhou story in Version 3.5 will already know Qingxiao — she appeared briefly in the main story Act II, so her banner is a natural next step for players invested in that arc.

Jingran — Version 3.6 Phase 2 Banner (Fusion / Broadblade)

Jingran heads up Phase 2 as a 5-star Fusion Broadblade carry. Her kit is built around heavy attacks and scales on HP, with stance-switching mechanics, built-in self-sustain, and interactions with shield effects. If you play HP-scaling or Fusion teams, she slots in cleanly. Her signature weapon is the Thousandfold Deliverance.

Version 3.6 Launches Around 20 August

Version 3.5 closes on 19 August, so Version 3.6 follows immediately — expect the update to go live on or around 20 August 2026. Story-wise, 3.6 continues the Mengzhou arc introduced in 3.5: the Rover’s investigation of Xuanfang presses forward, with a new story chapter and a fresh area within the Mengzhou region added to the map. Global server players across Singapore and the rest of SEA access the update at the same time with no regional delay.

Two New Resonators: Qingxiao and Jingran

Kuro Games has officially confirmed the two limited five-star Resonators headlining Version 3.6. Both were drip-marketed over the past month and have generated considerable anticipation in the community.

Qingxiao is a five-star Aero Sword Resonator who heads up Phase 1. Described officially as “a reclusive sword cultivator who holds a nominal post as Xuan Paragon of Xuanfang Hold,” she carries the tagline “Celestial sword guards the clouded pass.” Expect her to fit the aerial, agile sword-wielder archetype within the Mengzhou storyline introduced in Version 3.5.

Jingran arrives in Phase 2 as a five-star Fusion Broadblade Resonator. His drip marketing leaned into a between-worlds, yin-and-yang aesthetic — a hooded figure carrying a glowing lantern and a massive blade, described as someone who “walks between the living and the dead.” Early beta data points to an HP-scaling main DPS built around Heavy Attacks, though tonight’s broadcast will detail his official kit.

What Else to Expect from the Broadcast

Tonight’s stream will officially confirm the Version 3.6 release date. Based on the standard six-week update cycle — Version 3.5 closes 19 August — the community is pointing to around 20–21 August, though Kuro Games has not announced a precise date yet. Expect that to be one of the first things confirmed tonight.

The broadcast should also lay out the banner phase order, any rerun characters, and a preview of new story content continuing deeper into Mengzhou. Beta testers have flagged a new map area, a rogue-like game mode, and a sword-riding traversal mechanic tied to Qingxiao’s aerial theme — all pending official confirmation tonight.

For context on what Version 3.5 brought, see our earlier coverage of WuWa 3.5 and the Mengzhou expansion, or browse more game news on the blog.

Three Free Astrite Codes — Redeem Before They Expire

Kuro Games typically drops three redemption codes live during each version preview broadcast, each worth 100 Astrite (300 total) plus bonus Resonance Potions and Shell Credits. The codes expire within hours, and Singapore players watching at 7 PM SGT are in a great position to catch them in real time.

To redeem: open the game, go to Settings > Other Settings > Redemption Code, and enter each code as it goes live on stream. The official Wuthering Waves account (@Wuthering_Waves on X) also posts the codes shortly after the broadcast — follow along if you catch the stream late.

Kuro Games Reveals Wuthering Waves: Elysium Animated Series

Two sold-out nights at Shanghai’s SPD Bank Oriental Sports Centre closed this weekend with a reveal Singapore’s Wuthering Waves community has been hoping for: the game is getting a full animated series.

Wuthering Waves: Elysium — The Series Kuro Onroad Will Make

Kuro Games announced the animated adaptation under the title Wuthering Waves: Elysium, with production handled by Kuro Onroad — a brand-new in-house animation studio launched specifically for this and future projects. Keeping production inside the company is a deliberate call: Kuro Games says the setup gives them full creative control over art direction, visual effects, and production timelines for their multimedia adaptations.

The announcement trailer debuted on 17 July as part of the “To the New World” world concert tour’s Shanghai opening dates. It’s a short teaser — story details, a release window, and streaming platform are all still to come. But the key visual itself does a lot of heavy lifting: five characters from the game’s roster are shown in dramatic individual portrait frames, with a striking white-haired, fox-eared figure taking centre stage.

No production credits beyond Kuro Onroad, no confirmed voice cast, no episode count. Kuro Games is playing this one as a slow reveal, with updates to be shared through the Kuro Onroad account on X.

Why an In-House Studio Matters

The decision to build Kuro Onroad rather than license production to a third-party studio is worth paying attention to. When game studios bring animation in-house — or build dedicated multimedia arms — the results tend to track the source material’s visual identity more faithfully than licensed productions often do.

Wuthering Waves has one of the more distinctive art directions in the action RPG space: its environments blend post-apocalyptic sci-fi infrastructure with Chinese landscape painting aesthetics in a way that is genuinely difficult to translate into animation without the team who built it. Kuro Onroad having full control over that translation process is the right call for a franchise that lives and dies by its visual world-building.

Singapore Rovers: Your Concert Stop Is Esplanade, 26 September

The Shanghai dates where Elysium was revealed are the opening leg of a wider “To the New World” world tour. Singapore Rovers, your stop has been confirmed for some time — and now you know what the crowd in Shanghai got to see first.

The Wuthering Waves Concert Tour “To the New World” is scheduled for Esplanade Theatre on Saturday, 26 September 2026 at 8pm SGT. Tickets went on sale via SISTIC on 2 July, and the Singapore show has reportedly sold out alongside other Asia stops on the tour. If you’re still looking for tickets, check SISTIC for any released hold allocations, and keep an eye on community resale boards if you want a face-value option.

What to Expect Next from Kuro Onroad

Kuro Games is directing the community to @Kuro_Onroad on X for Elysium updates as production moves forward. Given that the tour extends through late 2026 and into 2027, the next major reveal is likely to coincide with another concert stop or a significant in-game version drop rather than arriving out of the blue.

For now the announcement is clear enough on intent: Kuro Games is treating Wuthering Waves as a long-term multimedia franchise, not just a live-service game. For the Singapore and SEA community that has made WuWa one of the region’s most-played RPGs since its 2024 launch, Elysium is one more reason to stay invested.

Wuthering Waves 3.5 Hits Xbox Today — Mengzhou and Xuanling

Wuthering Waves Version 3.5, Blade of Past Resounds, Lingering Dream Hymns, is live today (10 July, servers opened at 11 AM SGT) — and it lands with the game’s biggest platform expansion yet: a full debut on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Game Pass, simultaneous with the version update. Singapore Xbox players can download and start today, free-to-play, while existing PC and mobile Rovers keep all their progress thanks to full cross-save.

Wuthering Waves 3.5 Xbox Launch Details for Singapore Players

The Xbox release arrives day-and-date with Version 3.5, covering Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, and Xbox Game Pass. Performance targets 60 FPS on Series X and 30 FPS on Series S. Crucially, the game is free-to-play on Xbox — no Game Pass subscription is needed to download and start, though Game Pass subscribers receive an exclusive in-game cosmetic Sigil on top of the base game.

Cross-progression is fully supported. Any account you have been building on PC, mobile, or PS5 — your characters, Echoes, Union Level, and story progress — carries straight over to Xbox without any migration step needed. For Singapore gamers who picked up WuWa on mobile and have been curious about a big-screen experience, now is the time.

New SP Character: Yangyang: Xuanling — What Singapore Pullers Need to Know

Version 3.5’s headline banner is Yangyang: Xuanling, the game’s first-ever SP (Special) character — an alternate, more powerful form of the long-standing four-star Yangyang. She is a five-star Havoc element Sword user and a heavy-attack main DPS, with her kit built around the Havoc Bane status as a core mechanic. Her signature weapon is the Azure Oath sword.

Phase 2 brings Suisui, Yangyang’s younger sister, as a five-star Glacio Rectifier — the game’s latest HP-scaling healer and team buffer. Suisui’s story role is central to Chapter IV’s narrative, so even players who skip her banner will encounter her throughout the update. The Phase 1 rerun banner features six existing five-stars for players who missed them.

All Rovers also receive a free new element form: Rover: Electro is unlocked through the main story and does not require any spending.

Mengzhou: Land of Xuanfang — The New Region

The other centrepiece of 3.5 is Mengzhou: Land of Xuanfang, the second region of Huanglong and the largest new area added since Rinascita. Described by Kuro Games as a “city of mechanisms” blending classical Chinese architecture with hidden machinery, Mengzhou spans four distinct areas: Xuanfang Hold, Xuan Peaks, Fang Peaks, and Yuan Hills. Expect the full WuWa open-world package — Autopuppet machines you can pilot, new world quests, a Mingshen system, returning Expedition Motorbike traversal, and a story arc that runs across versions 3.5 through 3.7.

Events, Free Codes and Quality-of-Life Updates

Version 3.5 brings four concurrent events: Virtual Crisis (the patch’s headline limited-time event), Tacet Crisis (a Vampire Survivors-style survival minigame), Denia Hologram (a new boss-style challenge live from today), and Endstate Matrix (the latest endgame cycle). A standout QoL addition lets players assign a different voice-over language per character — helpful if you prefer specific dubs for specific Resonators rather than a single global setting, as Kuro Games confirmed in the 3.5 patch notes.

Free redemption code WUTHERINGGIFT gives 50 Astrite and bonus materials and is permanently available — redeem it in-game under Settings → Redemption Code if you have not already. Additional launch-day codes are expected to drop via the official Wuthering Waves YouTube channel and social accounts throughout the day.

Wuthering Waves is free-to-play on PC (official launcher), iOS, Android, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S as of today. For more gaming news and free-to-play coverage, check our latest posts.

Wuthering Waves 3.5 Unveils Mengzhou Region — Launches 10 July

KURO Games has officially previewed the contents of Wuthering Waves Version 3.5, scheduled to go live on 10 July 2026. The update brings a brand-new region — Mengzhou — and two new 5-star Resonators to the roster. The Version 3.5 Preview Special Broadcast is live tonight on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube channel at 18:00 SGT (19:00 JST).

New Resonators: Yangyang — Xuanling and Suisui

The two new 5-star Resonators headlining Version 3.5 are Yangyang: Xuanling and Suisui — sisters whose stories are woven into the new Mengzhou arc.

Yangyang: Xuanling is the game’s first SP-type character: a special variant of the existing 4-star Resonator Yangyang rather than an entirely new unit. As a 5-star Havoc Sword Main DPS, Xuanling features a stance-switching combat system built around an Azure Plume mechanic, giving her a noticeably more complex kit than standard DPS units. Players who have had Yangyang since launch will find her SP counterpart carries additional lore weight alongside the gameplay upgrade.

Suisui, Yangyang’s sister, rounds out the 3.5 banner as a 5-star Glacio Rectifier support and healer. Her kit is designed to complement Xuanling, making the two a natural team pairing for players who pull on this patch’s banners.

Mengzhou: A New Region Expanding Huanglong

Version 3.5 opens up Mengzhou, a new landmass within the existing Huanglong territory. KURO Games has indicated that the Mengzhou storyline will span multiple updates — versions 3.5 through 3.7 — with additional characters confirmed for the arc: Suoming, Jingran, Qingxiao, and Hsin have all appeared in preview materials, suggesting a sustained content rollout through the second half of the year.

Stream Tonight — and What to Expect

The Version 3.5 Preview Special Broadcast is scheduled for tonight, 26 June at 18:00 SGT, on the official Wuthering Waves YouTube channel. These pre-patch previews traditionally include live redemption codes — past streams have distributed around 300 Astrite total across several codes — so it is worth watching live or keeping an eye on community channels as the codes drop. Version 3.5 itself goes live on 10 July 2026.

Wuthering Waves 3.4 Is Live: Cyberpunk Collab and Free Rebecca

Kuro Games has dropped Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 “The Dream Not Dreamed” today, and the long-awaited Cyberpunk: Edgerunners crossover is officially live for Singapore players. The headline grab: Rebecca is free for everyone — no gacha pull required.

Wuthering Waves Version 3.4 Official Trailer | The Dream Not Dreamed — via Wuthering Waves on YouTube

The Dream Not Dreamed: Night City Arrives in Solaris-3

Version 3.4 introduces Somnoire: Night City, a limited-time collaboration zone built from Lucy Kushinada’s memories. It captures the Cyberpunk aesthetic faithfully — neon-drenched streets, the Cherry Blossom Market, and Arasaka Headquarters are all explorable. As Kuro Games describes it, it is a place where “dreams overlap with reality, where violence and conflict keep fortunes flowing.”

The crossover, developed in partnership with CD PROJEKT RED, weaves the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners story into Solaris-3 through an episodic quest chain called “At Dream’s Edge”. Startorch Academy joins forces with the Edgerunners to battle Nightmare Tacet Discords — and yes, that includes a boss fight against a Nightmare version of Adam Smasher.

Meet Lucy and Rebecca: Two New 5-Star Resonators

Two Cyberpunk: Edgerunners characters debut as 5-star Resonators with this update:

  • Lucy — Spectro element, Pistol type. Her signature weapon is the Spectral Trigger. Lucy is available on a limited Convene banner running until 9 July 2026.
  • Rebecca — Electro element, Pistol type. Armed with the Skull Thrasher, Rebecca is the value pick of the patch: she is completely free for all players at Union Level 10 or above, claimable through the Instant Flashlight event.

David Martinez briefly appears in the version trailer. Kuro Games has not confirmed his exact in-game role as of launch.

How to Claim Your Free Rebecca

If you haven’t played Wuthering Waves in a while — or have been meaning to start — this patch is one of the best reasons to log in. Here’s how to get Rebecca at no cost:

  1. Update to Version 3.4 and reach Union Level 10 (if you aren’t there already).
  2. Open the Events menu and look for the Instant Flashlight limited-time event.
  3. Complete the event objectives to unlock and claim your free Rebecca.

The Convene banners — and with them, the free claim window — run from 8 June to 9 July 2026. Don’t leave this one on the table.

Events and What Else Is in 3.4

Somnoire: Night City packs in several event modes alongside the main story:

  • Night City Roaming — the main event hub, including Resonator Trials and Nightmare Challenges against the new collab enemies.
  • Matrix Reform — puzzle-focused content themed around Breach Protocol terminals and Quickhack mechanics, a neat nod to the Cyberpunk RPG DNA.
  • Sweetdream Tuning — milestone rewards earned by pulling on the collaboration banners.
  • Daily sign-in bonuses running throughout the event period.

One detail fans of the anime will love: “I Really Want to Stay At Your House” — the beloved track from the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners soundtrack — plays while you ride a motorbike through Night City. It’s a small touch that will hit differently if you remember what happens by the end of the show.

New weapon Freeze Frame also enters the gacha pool this version, alongside the character-specific Spectral Trigger and Skull Thrasher. Wuthering Waves is additionally confirmed for an Xbox release in July 2026 with exclusive Game Pass rewards at launch.

Last Words

Wuthering Waves has quietly grown one of the strongest gacha player communities in Singapore and Southeast Asia. A crossover with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners — one of anime’s most acclaimed productions of recent years — is a genuine event, not just a marketing exercise. The free Rebecca offer sweetens the deal for lapsed or new players. Singapore Rovers have until 9 July 2026 to explore Somnoire: Night City and collect their free Electro Resonator before the collaboration wraps.
