Set one year after The Unwound Future, the story moves to Steam Bison — a booming American city powered entirely by revolutionary steam technology that has overtaken even London. The game targets Nintendo Switch 2, Switch, PlayStation 5, and PC (Steam), and Level-5 confirmed at the April showcase that development is on track for a late-2026 release. What the April show did not provide was an exact date — the one thing fans are most hoping VISION 2026 II will finally nail down. Also confirmed for the showcase is Snack World: Reloaded, a ground-up remake of Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Level-5 describes it as having received “major updates to the gameplay, controls, and story, to the point where it almost feels like a brand-new game,” with significantly enhanced graphics designed to look like a beautifully crafted diorama brought to life. A new Chup-focused story mode lets players experience the adventure from the anime protagonist’s perspective for the first time.
For Singapore fans, this is worth noting: Snack World: The Dungeon Crawl – Gold was a Nintendo Switch cult hit that never received a formal Southeast Asian retail release. A worldwide launch for Reloaded — Level-5’s stated intent — would make the series genuinely accessible to the region for the first time outside of imports.
Beyond those two headliners, the April showcase also introduced a new Yo-kai Watch entry and DecaPolice, and both remain undated — so any VISION 2026 II update on either would be a welcome bonus.
