Shadow Garden is taking the roguelite route. NIS America and Clouded Leopard Entertainment revealed The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes during Sony’s State of Play Japan on 3 September — a 3D action roguelite based on Daisuke Aizawa’s beloved isekai series, coming to PS5, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC in 2027. Clouded Leopard is handling the Asian release, which means Singapore fans can expect a physical edition through the usual local channels.
What Is The Eminence in Shadow: Phantom Echoes?
Developed by Team Caravan, Phantom Echoes drops players into the shoes of Alpha — one of Shadow Garden’s elite Seven Shadows — rather than the usual Cid Kagenou viewpoint. The game uses an Awakening system that randomly assigns abilities at the start of each run, with players building a unique combat loadout from a wide pool of skill combinations every playthrough. It is a classic roguelite loop: die, start over with a new build, and gradually push deeper into whatever threat the Eminence has conjured this time.
Alpha, Delta, and Shadow himself all appear in the first trailer. Whether additional Shadow Garden members are playable or function as support mechanics has not yet been confirmed.

The Asia release is handled by Clouded Leopard Entertainment, the same publisher behind a number of Japanese titles distributed locally in Singapore and across the region.
