Singapore Atlus fans, mark your TGS plans now: both Persona 4 Revival and Metaphor: ReFantazio on Nintendo Switch 2 are confirmed for playable demos at the Atlus booth at Tokyo Game Show 2026, according to details published today on Famitsu (Japanese). That’s two of the most anticipated Atlus titles — one a long-awaited remake, the other the acclaimed RPG finally arriving on Switch 2 — available side-by-side at Makuhari Messe this September 17–21.
Persona 4 Revival at TGS 2026: Two Demo Modes to Try
Persona 4 Revival — the remake of the beloved JRPG, coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC on February 18, 2027 — will offer two distinct ways to play at the Atlus TGS booth.
The Story Mode lets players step into the opening of the game and explore an “unusual shopping district” — a first taste of how Atlus has reimagined Inaba for the remake. The Dungeon Mode drops you straight into Yukiko’s Castle to battle shadows and bosses, putting the revamped combat (featuring Baton Pass and the new Prime Time system) through its paces.
Everyone who plays the P4R demo receives a set of novelty items: a P4R bottle holder, branded water, and a sticker set — collectibles worth picking up if you’re heading to TGS in person.
Metaphor: ReFantazio Switch 2 — Trial of the Sword and the Louis Support Survey
On the same Atlus booth floor, Metaphor: ReFantazio’s Nintendo Switch 2 version — due November 12, 2026 — will feature Trial of the Sword, an experience-based playable activity built around the game’s praised battle system. It’s aimed squarely at Switch 2 players who haven’t yet picked up the PS5 or PC version of this multi-award-winning RPG.
Stage events will run through the week to spotlight what’s new in the Switch 2 port, and Atlus is running the “Louis Support Rate Investigation” — an audience survey about fan-favourite character Louis that offers prizes to participants. If you know, you know.
