New Director, Returning Studio and Crew
SILVER LINK returns to handle animation — a welcome constant given how well the studio balanced the series’ tonal whiplash in Season 1. Series composition veteran Deko Akao is back, and Saori Nakashiki takes over as character designer.
The opening theme is “Unbroken” by MADKID, the group that handled Season 1’s energetic OP. The ending theme is a Japanese-language track performed by のんふぃく！
Cast and Characters
The core cast is intact. Tomokazu Sugita voices the eternally stoic Sasaki, with Aoi Yuki returning as the all-powerful Peeps. Akari Kito, Rie Takahashi, and Inori Minase reprise their roles, and Tasuku Hatanaka and Yu Sasahara join the ensemble as new characters for Season 2.
