One Piece Day is going global this year — and it’s free. The official annual fan celebration for Eiichiro Oda’s flagship series will stream live on YouTube on 22–23 August 2026, open to viewers worldwide at no cost. Here is everything confirmed so far, with all times converted to Singapore Standard Time (SGT = JST − 1 hour).
What Is One Piece Day?
One Piece Day is an annual event held around Eiichiro Oda’s birthday (January 1) and the series’ anniversary. It typically features fan-voted segment results, major franchise announcements, voice cast appearances, and a live concert. Previous editions were Japan-only or had limited international access. The ’26 edition is the first to be officially promoted as a global YouTube stream.
Day 1 — Saturday, 22 August 2026
5:15 PM SGT: Stream begins. The opening segment covers fan poll results for characters ranked 100–31, with live commentary.
Day 2 — Sunday, 23 August 2026
- 9:30 AM SGT: Main day stream begins.
- 9:40 AM SGT: Fan poll top 30 character results revealed.
- ~10:40 AM SGT: News and card game panel — a new One Piece card game expansion is expected to be officially announced here.
- 2:45 PM SGT: Voice cast segment.
- 4:15 PM SGT: Live concert.
Confirmed Announcements and Projects
Several projects have already been confirmed ahead of the event:
- LEGO One Piece (Netflix): Premieres 29 September 2026.
- One Piece: Grand Gourmet (mobile game): Launches 23 October 2026.
- WIT Studio remake: The new animated series from WIT Studio begins in February 2027.
- New card game: Details expected to be revealed during the Day 2 panel.
