The Duskbloods Network Test Sign-Up Opens Tonight — Switch 2 Guide for Singapore

Registration for FromSoftware’s Switch 2 exclusive The Duskbloods closed network test opens tonight — 22 July at 10pm SGT — and you only have until 28 July at 9:59pm SGT to get your application in. If you own a Nintendo Switch 2 and want to go hands-on with one of this year’s most anticipated titles ahead of its 2026 launch, now is the time.

As we covered when the test dates were announced last week, five play sessions are scheduled across 21–24 August 2026. Tonight the sign-up page goes live, so here is everything Singapore Switch 2 owners need to know.

What Is The Duskbloods?

The Duskbloods is a brand-new multiplayer action game from FromSoftware — the studio behind Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring — built exclusively for Nintendo Switch 2. Rather than a traditional single-player RPG, it puts up to eight players into a PvPvE arena as Bloodsworn: warriors who have undergone forbidden blood rites to gain superhuman powers and unique weapons. Every match tasks players with hunting down rivals and surviving AI threats simultaneously to claim the mysterious First Blood.

The game was first revealed at the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct in June 2026 and is one of the console’s headline exclusives for the year.

The process is straightforward and takes about two minutes:

  3. Submit your application before the deadline: 28 July 2026 at 9:59pm SGT.
  4. Wait for the selection email — FromSoftware will notify chosen participants on 7 August at 9pm SGT, with a download code for the test build included.

Requirements:

Spots are limited — FromSoftware has not disclosed the cap, but closed network tests for high-profile games fill up fast. Applying on day one gives you the best odds.

There are five play windows across three days. Here they are in SGT so you can plan ahead:

Session Day (SGT) Time (SGT)
1 Friday, 21 August 6:00pm – 10:00pm
2 Saturday, 22 August 10:00am – 2:00pm
3 Sunday, 23 August 2:00am – 6:00am
4 Sunday, 23 August 6:00pm – 10:00pm
5 Monday, 24 August 10:00am – 2:00pm

Sessions 1, 2, 4, and 5 are at civilised hours. Session 3 (the Sunday overnight window) mirrors the original Pacific Time schedule and will be a late-night one for Singapore players — mark your calendar if you want to maximise your playtime.

What to Expect During the Test

This is a closed network test, not a demo — FromSoftware has flagged that bugs and rough edges may be present, and the studio is collecting data to improve the final release. Each match supports up to eight players in a PvPvE format: you are fighting AI enemies and rival Bloodsworn simultaneously, racing to claim the First Blood. The range of Bloodsworn types — each with distinct weapons and blood-based powers — means no two matches play out the same way.

The full game does not yet have a confirmed release date beyond 2026. This network test is the first time players outside Nintendo or FromSoftware will get their hands on it, making a spot all the more worth fighting for.

Head to the official registration page tonight from 10pm SGT, and good luck with the selection. For more Switch 2 news, see our Game News section.

The Duskbloods Closed Network Test Opens July 22 — Five Sessions Across 21–24 August

When FromSoftware and Nintendo revealed The Duskbloods at the Nintendo Direct in June, we got the premise — a competitive, multi-player action RPG set under a blood moon, featuring warriors called Bloodsworn hunting each other across dark, gothic environments. What we didn’t have were actual dates. Now we do.

FromSoftware has confirmed that the Closed Network Test for The Duskbloods runs across four days in August, spanning five separate sessions. Sign-up registrations open on 22 July 2026.

Network Test Schedule (SGT)

Five sessions are confirmed across the test window. All times below are in Singapore Time (SGT, UTC+8):

  • Session 1: Friday 21 August, 11:00 PM – Saturday 22 August, 5:00 AM
  • Session 2: Saturday 22 August, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
  • Session 3: Saturday 22 August, 11:00 PM – Sunday 23 August, 3:00 AM
  • Session 4: Sunday 23 August, 11:00 PM – Monday 24 August, 5:00 AM
  • Session 5: Monday 24 August, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM

What the Network Test Covers

The Duskbloods puts up to eight Bloodsworn — warriors cursed with immortality — against each other and the environment in a world bathed in a perpetual blood moon. The tone is vintage FromSoftware: heavy armour, stamina management, deliberate combat, and a world soaked in death and mythology. The Switch 2 exclusivity makes this one of the flagship system sellers FromSoftware and Nintendo have been building toward since the hardware reveal.

The closed network test will let participants try an early build of the game across the five sessions above. Each session is time-limited, so you can’t simply log on whenever — you’ll need to plan around the schedule if you want to get hands-on time. Given the late-night timing of several sessions (Sessions 1, 3, and 4 all run after 11pm), FromSoftware appears to be covering different global time zones across the test window rather than running purely Japan-centric hours.

How to Register

Registrations open on 22 July — which is one week away. Spaces in closed network tests are typically limited, so applying early gives you better odds. Check the official Nintendo Switch 2 and FromSoftware channels on July 22 for the sign-up link. We’ll share it here as soon as it goes live.

The Duskbloods: FromSoftware’s Switch 2 Exclusive Eyes Summer Network Test

After more than a year of near-total silence, The Duskbloods — FromSoftware’s brand-new Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive — is finally back in the spotlight. A closed network test is confirmed for summer 2026, and signup details are expected soon through the game’s official channels.

What Is The Duskbloods?

The Duskbloods is a PvPvE multiplayer action game that supports up to eight players simultaneously. You play as a Bloodsworn — a supernatural being whose power is drawn from blood — and compete across gothic, Victorian-inspired maps for the coveted prize known as First Blood. Matches blend direct combat with strategic cooperation: you can form temporary alliances, pursue side objectives, or summon companions to shift the tide. Victory Points determine the winner, but every player walks away with rewards regardless of placement.

Director Hidetaka Miyazaki — the mind behind Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring — described the game’s core appeal as its flexibility. Players can “avoid direct combat, select cooperative play, or pursue personal objectives,” he said in an interview published on Famitsu (Japanese), noting that the studio will “continue actively creating single-player games like Elden Ring” alongside this new multiplayer direction.

A New Trailer and a Long-Dormant Twitter Finally Stirs

The game resurfaced at the Nintendo Direct on 9 June 2026 with a short atmospheric teaser — the first new footage since its original April 2025 announcement. The clip leans into the game’s dark, Bloodborne-adjacent aesthetic, showcasing several of the playable Bloodsworn characters and a handful of environments. It doesn’t show gameplay, but it confirms FromSoftware’s gothic Victorian direction is firmly intact.

On 10 June, the game’s official X account posted for the first time in 14 months, breaking its silence to confirm that network test details would be announced through that channel — so if you’re keen, that’s the page to follow.

Network Test: What We Know

A closed network test is coming later this summer, though FromSoftware and Nintendo have not yet opened sign-ups or pinned down exact dates. What’s confirmed:

  • You will need a Nintendo Switch Online membership to participate.
  • The test will support the game’s full PvPvE format — up to 8 players — across multiple maps.
  • Signup details will be announced via the official X account and Nintendo’s channels.

Given FromSoftware’s track record with Elden Ring network tests, demand is likely to outstrip slots — worth watching for the registration window the moment it opens.

Why This Is a Big Deal for Switch 2 Owners

The Duskbloods is FromSoftware’s first Nintendo home console exclusive in 23 years, since Lost Kingdoms II in 2003. It’s a Switch 2 exclusive with no announced ports planned. For Singapore fans, that means the Switch 2’s local availability makes this one of the few ways anyone outside Japan can get early hands-on time — import or not, we’re in the same boat as the rest of the world.

The full game is still on track for a 2026 release, making the summer network test likely the last major preview before launch. Keep an eye on Nintendo Singapore’s official channels and the game’s X account for sign-up news.

Last Words

Singapore gamers who missed the Bloodborne window — or who have been waiting years for FromSoftware to do something genuinely new — should have The Duskbloods firmly on their radar. The gothic multiplayer concept is unlike anything the studio has shipped before, and the network test this summer will be the first real chance to feel whether it works.
