Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada-san’s story ends this Monday morning. The Dangers in My Heart (僕の心のヤバイやつ, BokuYaba) publishes its final chapter on Champion Cross at 10:00 JST (09:00 SGT) on Tuesday, September 15 — wrapping up eight and a half years of serialization by creator Norio Sakurai. The publisher’s announcement banner puts it plainly: 卒業おめでとう (Congratulations on graduation). But this isn’t really goodbye.
Back in August we reported that the manga was ending in three chapters; now all three have published and the final one arrives Tuesday. Volume 14 — the last collected volume — follows on November 6, 2026, via Akita Shoten’s Champion Cross imprint. Seven Seas Entertainment holds the English licence and should bring Volume 14 to shelves in 2027 on their usual schedule.

Champion Cross is the digital manga platform run by Akita Shoten, and BokuYaba has serialized there throughout its run. The final chapter goes live at:

The platform is Japanese-language only. English readers will want to wait for Seven Seas Entertainment’s official Volume 14, or access the series through their existing licence. The English manga is currently up to Volume 13.
Season 3 Anime Is Confirmed for 2027
Studio Shin-Ei Animation — the studio behind Seasons 1 and 2 — announced a third season in March 2026 at the stage greeting event for The Dangers in My Heart: The Movie, which hit Japanese cinemas on February 13, 2026. Season 3 premieres in 2027, no specific window confirmed yet. It will adapt the manga’s final arc, including the chapters concluding this Tuesday — meaning anime watchers who have deliberately stayed behind the manga have every reason to hold out for the animated version.

Seasons 1 and 2 of the anime are available on HIDIVE. The series streams globally, including in Southeast Asia — Singapore subscribers can pick it up directly. If you have been sleeping on this one, both seasons are self-contained enough to binge in a weekend, and the character work is genuinely some of the best in romance anime of the past few years.
