Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition Out 2 October — New Story, Roguelike Survival, and an Asia Launch Date

Sucker Punch Productions today confirmed the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition for PS5, and if you’re in Singapore or anywhere else in Asia, your release date is 2 October 2026 — one day after the global 1 October launch. The Complete Edition bundles the base game, Legends co-op, a new narrative expansion, and an all-new roguelike survival mode at a single price point.

What’s in the Ghost of Yōtei Complete Edition

The Complete Edition packages everything Sucker Punch has made for Ghost of Yōtei into one disc or digital download:

  • Main Ghost of Yōtei campaign
  • Ghost of Yōtei Legends — online co-op for up to four players with Raid mode
  • Echoes of Sekigahara — new narrative expansion
  • Most Wanted — single-player roguelike combat survival mode
  • All Digital Deluxe Edition content
  • Charm of Hokkyokusei cosmetic
  • Sakai Armor early unlock (for purchases made by 30 September)

New buyers pay USD $69.99. If you already own the game, an upgrade to the Complete Edition costs USD $14.99 — check the PlayStation Store Asia page for confirmed SGD pricing ahead of launch.

Echoes of Sekigahara — A New Chapter for Atsu

The narrative expansion is titled Echoes of Sekigahara and introduces Nagato, a character from protagonist Atsu’s past. Players will explore an unseen valley and move between present-day events and Battle of Sekigahara flashbacks — one of the most pivotal moments in Japanese history.

Sucker Punch hasn’t yet detailed the full runtime, but the expansion brings new enemies, heavy weapons, additional armour sets, and new dyes, suggesting a meaningful content addition rather than a brief side story. More details will be shared closer to the 1 October launch.

Most Wanted — A Roguelike Twist on Ghost of Yōtei’s Combat

Ghost of Yōtei: Most Wanted is the mode that’s going to keep you busy long after you’ve finished the story. It’s a roguelike-inspired combat survival mode where you accept bounties to start runs, take down enemies to earn perks, and unlock additional characters as you progress.

Three playable characters are confirmed, each with a distinct weapon style:

  • Atsu — dual katana
  • Oyuki — kusarigama (chain-sickle)
  • Nagato — yari (spear)

For Singapore players who’ve put dozens of hours into Ghost of Tsushima’s Legends mode, Most Wanted looks like the single-player equivalent — high-replayability, perk-driven runs that reward mastery of each character’s fighting style.

Free Updates for Everyone on 1 October

Patch v.2.0 arrives on 1 October for all Ghost of Yōtei owners — not just Complete Edition buyers — and it brings a welcome set of quality-of-life improvements:

  • Beauty of Yōtei screensaver mode
  • Armour appearance and stats customization separated (mix-and-match looks without gimping your build)
  • High contrast accessibility option
  • New Watanabe Mode music tracks
  • Photo mode stamps and new cosmetics
  • New Trophies

The armour stat/appearance split alone is something fans have been asking for since launch, so this patch is one Singapore PS5 players will want to grab regardless of whether they pick up the Complete Edition.

Asia, Singapore, and the October 2 Date

For Singapore and the rest of Asia (plus Australia and New Zealand), patch v.2.0 and the Complete Edition roll out on 2 October 2026 — one day later than the global date, in line with regional timezone publishing windows. Pre-order and pricing details will be up on the Singapore PlayStation Store page ahead of release.

“We’re so grateful to every fan who has shared their creativity and love for the game — fan art, cosplays, virtual photographs, combat montages, Twitch streams,” Sucker Punch said in today’s announcement. The Complete Edition feels like the studio’s way of saying thank you with a full package that gives new players everything at once and existing fans two solid reasons to return.
