Blue Lock’s egoists are coming to REMATCH. Sloclap revealed during PlayStation’s State of Play on 3 September 2026 that their third-person 5v5 football game REMATCH will kick off a Blue Lock crossover with Season 5 on 24 September 2026 — featuring four of the anime’s most recognisable strikers.
Four Blue Lock Characters Joining the REMATCH Pitch
Season 5 will feature four characters from Blue Lock’s roster:
- Yoichi Isagi — the analytical forward whose meta-vision drives Blue Lock’s central story
- Meguru Bachira — the instinctive dribbler who plays by feel and monster intuition
- Seishiro Nagi — the deceptively casual genius who picked up football almost by accident
- Rin Itoshi — the prodigiously talented and fiercely intense rival to Isagi

The crossover runs from 24 September to 23 October 2026. Sloclap has confirmed the four characters will appear in-game, though specific details on cosmetics and content have not yet been revealed — more is expected closer to launch.
Egoists vs Teammates — the Thematic Tension
The collab pairs two franchises with strikingly different philosophies. Blue Lock is built around individual ego: forge the world’s best egoist striker by eliminating everyone else. REMATCH, by contrast, is a 5v5 team game where communication and coordination win matches.

Creative Director Pierre Tarno addressed the contrast directly, as quoted by Gematsu: “From the very first moment we revealed REMATCH, the community has non-stop been asking us to bring Blue Lock onto our pitch. On the REMATCH pitch, even the greatest egoists will need their teammates to succeed.”

What Singapore Blue Lock Fans Should Know
REMATCH is available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store — all widely accessible in Singapore. The game sits at largely positive reviews on Steam, with around 70% positive ratings from close to 17,000 reviews.
Blue Lock’s momentum in Singapore is hard to miss right now. Blue Lock Season 3: NEO EGOIST LEAGUE is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, and the franchise’s live-action film crossed 1 billion yen at the Japanese box office after opening on 7 August. The collab lands at arguably the peak of the series’ mainstream popularity.

No Singapore-specific pricing has been announced for the Season 5 content. Follow Sloclap’s official REMATCH account for pricing and content details, and check our game news section for updates as they land.
