Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis has one chapter left. Before the mobile game closes for good on 6 October 2026, Square Enix is delivering the conclusion it always promised: Chapter 13 “The Planet’s End” arrives on 6 September, bringing the original FF7 story to its end inside the three-year-old mobile game.
What Happens in The Planet’s End
Chapter 13 picks up with Cloud and the party aboard the Highwind airship, making their final approach to the Northern Crater for a last confrontation with Sephiroth. It is the concluding scenario of the original Final Fantasy VII retelling in Ever Crisis — the culmination of the full story, from the opening reactor mission all the way to the final boss. Square Enix announced the chapter on 30 August 2026 ahead of its 6 September launch.

The Final-Season Roadmap
Square Enix announced earlier this year that Ever Crisis would end service on 6 October 2026, citing development sustainability challenges, and halted in-game currency sales ahead of the closure. The final season delivered three monthly story chapters:
- July 2026 — Chapter 11
- 12 August 2026 — Chapter 12 “Battle For The Planet”: Cloud’s party confronts Hojo and Shinra’s fleet above the Northern Crater
- 6 September 2026 — Chapter 13 “The Planet’s End”: the final confrontation with Sephiroth

What Singapore Players Should Know Before 6 October
Ever Crisis remains available on iOS and Android in Singapore with no regional restrictions until the shutdown on 6 October 2026 at 11 PM PT — 6 October at 2 PM SGT for Singapore players. After that date, Square Enix will permanently delete all account data. Refunds are only available to Taiwan residents under local consumer protection regulations.
If you want to experience the complete original FF7 story inside Ever Crisis, Chapter 13 is the last window to do so. The story chapters are accessible for free, so there is no barrier to jumping in for the finale if you have been on the fence.
