Dragon Ball Super: Beerus now has an official premiere date: October 11, 2026. Toei Animation confirmed the date alongside a brand-new SUPER GEKITOU trailer and full theme song announcements — the most concrete release details fans have had since the project was first revealed.

SUPER GEKITOU Trailer
The SUPER GEKITOU (超激闘) trailer is live on Toei Animation’s official YouTube channel and showcases the fully re-rendered battle sequences at the heart of the enhanced project. The animation quality is noticeably elevated from the 2015 original — sharper compositing, updated lighting, and more dynamic camera work throughout the God of Destruction Beerus Saga fights.

Theme Songs Announced
Toei has confirmed both theme songs for the series:
- Opening theme: “ONOGAMI” — MEGATERA ZERO
- Ending theme: “Kan Peki no Peki” — VK Blanka
Both artists bring distinct styles to the Dragon Ball musical legacy. The full versions of both tracks are expected to release closer to the October 11 air date.

A Remaster, Not a Sequel
For those just catching up: as we reported in July, Dragon Ball Super: Beerus is a complete re-rendering of the God of Destruction Beerus Saga and Golden Frieza Saga from the 2015 Dragon Ball Super series. Every scene has been rebuilt with new cuts and updated cinematography, and the entire cast has re-recorded dialogue to match the enhanced footage. It is the same story — but made with a decade’s worth of technical advancement behind it.

Dragon Ball Super: Beerus premieres October 11, 2026 in Japan. We will update coverage as international streaming details are confirmed.
