K!DZ Pop Con Asia 2026 Is Coming — And It Looks Like the Best One Yet

K!DZ Pop Con Asia 2026 Is Coming — And It Looks Like the Best One Yet

Bluey, Toy Story 5, bouncing castles, lightsabers & more — two massive days for Singapore kids and families

📅 23–24 MAY 2026  |  📍 SANDS EXPO & CONVENTION CENTRE, LEVEL 1

If you have a child who loves characters, bouncy castles, arts, crafts, or martial arts — clear your May 23–24 weekend. K!DZ Pop Con Asia is back at Sands Expo & Convention Centre, and the 2026 line-up is genuinely stacked.

After a successful run last year, Singapore’s biggest family-focused pop culture convention returns for two action-packed days. Supported by the Singapore Tourism Board and with Mediacorp as Official Media, this year’s event is bigger in scope — anchored by the Singapore debut of Bluey as Official IP, a Toy Story 5 tie-in, live stage performances, martial arts showcases, and a dedicated zone of inflatable madness. Here’s everything you need to know.

🐾 Bluey Makes Her K!DZ Pop Con Debut

This is the headliner families have been waiting for. Bluey is stepping off the screen and into Sands Expo for the very first time, bringing along Bingo and all the warmth and playfulness that has made the Australian animated series a global phenomenon.

Here’s what the Bluey zone has in store:

  • Bluey Live Experience — a live stage show featuring screenings of beloved episodes
  • Meet & Greet — get up close with Bluey and Bingo mascots in person
  • Singapore’s biggest Bluey inflatable playground — enough said
  • Colouring activities and an art wall for young creatives
  • Official Bluey books and toys available for purchase

For parents who have watched more Bluey episodes than they care to admit, this is the rare chance to see your child’s face light up at a full-scale real-world experience.

🚀 To Infinity and Beyond — Toy Story 5 Comes to Life

With Toy Story 5 hitting cinemas on 18 June 2026, K!DZ Pop Con is the perfect warm-up act. The dedicated booth lets kids and families:

  • Make their own Forky — the beloved arts-and-crafts character returns
  • Try their hand at Toy Story 5-themed sand art
  • Step into Buzz Lightyear’s packaging for a photo opportunity
  • Stand a chance to win special movie premiums

Whether your family is die-hard Toy Story fans or just excited for the new film, this is a fun way to build up the anticipation before it opens in theatres.

🎪 Bouncing Castles Zone — The Classic Returns

Back by popular demand, the Baby Shark bouncing castles are making a return, joined this year by a Bluey inflatable and a full range from Smigy. The Bouncing Castles Zone is always one of the most chaotic (in the best possible way) corners of the event — expect kids to refuse to leave.

Note that inflatable access requires the All Access Pass — the basic entry ticket does not include bouncing castles, so plan accordingly.

🥋 Martial Arts on the Main Stage

Sabertooth Taekwondo brings a high-energy stage showcase complete with demonstrations and a Taekwondo dance segment. They’ll also be running hands-on activities at their booth. Better yet, every ticket holder is entitled to a free trial class worth $50 — just WhatsApp +65 9488 4115 quoting “Kidz Pop Con” to reserve your spot.

Aikido Shinju-Kai offers something a bit different: interactive Aikido sessions blending practical self-defence techniques with games and prizes. Certified instructors lead beginner-friendly workshops teaching focus, confidence, and conflict resolution without aggression. Ticket holders also get a free Aikido trial lesson worth $29.

Both programmes are genuinely well-suited for primary-school-age kids and a great way to test the waters before committing to a regular class.

⚔️ Build Your Own Lightsaber — SaberMach Workshop

One of the coolest hands-on activities at K!DZ Pop Con Asia this year is the SaberMach Saber Building Workshop. Participants get to assemble their own custom illuminated saber from scratch — a genuinely impressive keepsake that any kid (or adult) will love. If you’ve ever visited the similar experience at certain theme parks and balked at the price, this is worth checking out.

🎨 HiArt — For the Creative Kids

HiArt brings a dedicated art zone featuring interactive storytelling workshops, guided art classes, a live creation contest, and an art competition. Whether your child is a budding Picasso or simply loves getting paint on their hands, this zone offers a genuinely enriching creative experience in the middle of all the excitement.

📚 NTUC First Campus — Learning Through Play

Strategic Partner NTUC First Campus will be showcasing hands-on learning experiences across booths from My First Skool, Little Skool-House, Changemakers Explorer, and Outdoor School Singapore. Expect digital discovery activities, language-rich drama, nature-inspired crafts, and problem-solving challenges — all designed to make learning feel like play.

🧜 Syrena Singapore Mermaid — An Enchanting Appearance

Adding a touch of magic to the line-up, the Syrena Singapore Mermaid and her pod will be making special appearances for meet-and-greet sessions and interactive activities. A memorable moment for younger children especially.

🌟 K!DZ Cosplay Competition

Happening on Sunday, 24 May at 3PM on the Main Stage, the K!DZ Cosplay Competition is open to ticket holders, with shortlisted participants notified ahead of the event. Come dressed as your favourite character for a chance to win attractive prizes.

GameTrader.SG Verdict

K!DZ Pop Con Asia has grown into one of Singapore’s best family event weekends, and 2026 looks like the strongest edition yet. The Bluey debut alone will draw enormous crowds — and between the Toy Story 5 tie-in, lightsaber building, martial arts trials, and the biggest bouncing castle zone in Singapore, there really is something for every age group.

If you have primary-school-age kids, this is comfortably one of the top family outings of the year. Grab the Family All Access Pass for the best value, show up early to beat queues at the Bluey zone, and factor in the free martial arts trial perks — that alone more than covers the cost of a ticket.

Choo Choo! How to Book the “Day Out With Thomas” in Japan (2025/2026 Guide)

If you’re a fan of Thomas & Friends, there is no bigger pilgrimage than the Oigawa Railway in Shizuoka, Japan. However, for non-Japanese speakers, the booking system can be a maze of Kanji.

We’ve broken down exactly how to secure your seats using the Official Urakata Booking Portal.
🚂 Step-by-Step Booking Guide

Step 1: Select Your Experience
On the landing page (https://thomas.daitetsu.jp/schedule/), you’ll see several options. Look for the “Day Out With Thomas” (きかんしゃトーマス号) banner.

Screenshot

Annotation: Look for the Thomas icon and click the blue button (詳細/予約 – Details/Reserve).

Step 2: Check the Calendar

Screenshot
  • Circle (○): Available.
  • Triangle (△): Limited seats (Book now!).
  • Cross (×): Sold out.
Annotation: Click on your preferred date. If you aren’t staying in Shizuoka overnight, select the afternoon slot (usually around 1:20 PM or 2:00 PM).
Screenshot

Step 3: Login

You may need to login to buy the tickets. Create a new again using your SNS (Japanese term for social network service e.g Facebook, Line, Apple ID etc. )

Step 4: Enter Passenger Info

You will need to enter your name in Katakana (phonetic Japanese).
Tip: Use a free “English to Katakana” converter online. For the phone number, if your international number doesn’t fit, use your hotel’s phone number.

Step 4: Payment
The site accepts major international credit cards. Once confirmed, you will receive a QR code via email. This is your digital ticket—keep it safe!

🗺️ What to Do & See There

  • The Thomas Day Out Activity Area: Located at Senzu Station (and partly at Shin-Kanaya), this is the “hub.” You can get up close with Hiro, Percy, and James!
  • The Manual Turntable: Don’t miss this! Watching a massive steam-powered Thomas rotate on the manual turntable is a sight to behold.
  • Thomas Maintenance Factory: For a small fee at Shin-Kanaya, you can see Thomas being “fed” coal and prepped for his journey.
  • Bertie the Bus: Look out the window during your ride! Bertie the Bus often drives along the road parallel to the tracks to “race” the train.
    💡 GameTrader.SG Pro-Tips
    🌟 The “Day Trip” Secret:
If you are coming from Tokyo or Osaka and not staying overnight in Shizuoka, always book the afternoon timing. >
The journey from Tokyo takes about 2 to 2.5 hours via Shinkansen and local lines. A morning 10:30 AM departure is very stressful to catch. By booking the 1:20 PM or 2:00 PM slot, you have plenty of time to travel down, explore the Shin-Kanaya gift shops, and grab a Thomas-themed Bento box for lunch before boarding!

SGCC 2025: New Stage Programme, Floor Plan, and Massive Exhibitor Exclusives Revealed — Here’s What’s New

When SGCC first dropped its initial 2025 announcement, we covered the major highlights — the return of Singapore’s biggest pop-culture festival, its expanded showfloor, and the promise of an even more ambitious edition than before.

Now, SGCC has released a second wave of details, and trust us… the hype just levelled up again. If the first announcement got fans talking, this one brings the meat: a fully revealed floor plan, a jam-packed 2-day stage programme, the full W.I.P. Lab schedule, tabletop takeovers, Creators Con updates, and a gigantic list of exhibitor exclusives that will have collectors planning their routes like a tactical mission.

Here’s everything new you need to know.

📍 The Largest SGCC Floor Plan Ever — Level 1 + Basement 2 Takeover

Screenshot

We already knew SGCC 2025 was expanding, but now we have the confirmation:

  • Level 1: Halls A, B, C — the biggest SGCC showfloor ever.
More exhibitors, more pop-culture showcases, more retail, more creators, more everything.
  • Basement 2: Full Tabletop Takeover.
An entire underground floor purely for TCGs, boardgames, miniature painting, tournaments, and community play.
If you collect cards or roll dice — this is your home base.

SGCC wasn’t kidding when they said “most ambitious yet.”

🎤 FULL Stage Programme Revealed — Godzilla, Ultraman, FightSaber, Fabula Ultima Live Show & More

The earlier announcement teased “expanded programming” — now we finally see what that means. The newly unveiled 2-day main stage schedule includes:

This is easily SGCC’s most varied stage lineup to date — blending fandom, performance arts, cosplay, gaming, and community in one continuous weekend programme.

🎨 W.I.P. Lab Schedule Now Live — Featuring Simon Bisley’s Intimate Workshop

Fans of comics and illustration get a major treat with the newly revealed W.I.P. Lab lineup.

Seats are extremely limited — and at $288, it’s meant for the hardcore art enthusiasts.

The rest of the W.I.P. Lab schedule features two full days of workshops, creative showcases, and talks — ideal for creators, hobbyists, and anyone dreaming of turning fandom into craft.

Thailand’s Deputy Prime Minister Dr. Ekniti Nitithanprapas summed it up best during the opening ceremony:

“Gaming is no longer just entertainment — it’s a key driver of the global creative economy.”

Government support was a recurring theme throughout the event, with Thailand aiming to position itself as a global hub for digital and gaming innovation.

Crunchyroll Fall 2025 Anime Lineup: Heroes, Assassins, and Vampires

Anime fans, buckle up—this fall is going to be wild. Crunchyroll just dropped its Fall 2025 anime season lineup, and it’s got everything: the final showdown of My Hero Academia, more chaos with the Forger family in SPY x FAMILY Season 3, Saitama’s fist itching for action in One Punch Man Season 3, and… well, also a noblewoman who snacks on monsters like they’re chicken nuggets. Truly, something for everyone.

Here’s a taste of what’s hitting Crunchyroll soon:

🚀 The Big Guns

  • My Hero Academia: Final Season (Oct 4) Deku’s pulling out all the stops, All Might is rocking a powered armor suit, and the fate of Japan hangs by a thread. It’s shonen history in the making.
  • SPY x FAMILY Season 3 (Oct 4) – Loid, Yor, and Anya are back to prove once again that no one can keep a secret in this family… except maybe the dog.
  • One Punch Man Season 3 (Coming Soon) – Monsters beware, Saitama’s still bald, still bored, and still obliterating villains with one punch.
  • To Your Eternity Season 3 (Oct 4) – Fushi in the modern era? Sounds wholesome. Fushi facing the Beholder’s true goals? Sounds terrifying. Classic To Your Eternity mood swings.

🎮 Gamers, This One’s For You

  • Let’s Play (Oct 1) – A rom-com about a game dev, a salty streamer, and the awkward chaos of neighbors. Bonus: there’s a very good dog.
  • A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai (Sept 29) – Yet another office worker gets isekai’d… but this time with cheat skills that sound like your ideal RPG loot grind.

❤️ Love, Awkwardness, and Monster Meals

  • My Dress-Up Darling Season 2 (Sept 20) – Marin and Gojo are back! Expect cosplay, blushes, and enough “best girl” debates to set anime Twitter on fire. 🔥
  • Yano-kun’s Ordinary Days (Sept 30) – A sweet rom-com about a clumsy girl and a bruised-up boy who desperately needs bubble wrap.
  • My Awkward Senpai (Oct 2) – Office romance meets social anxiety—prepare to say “same” a lot.
  • Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! (Oct 2) – A “Voracious Villainess” who loves eating monsters. Honestly? Relatable.
  • Li’l Miss Vampire Can’t Suck Right (Oct 12) – A vampire who’s bad at vampire-ing. Twilight wishes it was this funny.

🌍 The Weird and Wonderful

  • Touring After the Apocalypse (Oct 4) – Because nothing says “end of the world” like road-tripping on a motorbike with your bestie.
  • This Monster Wants to Eat Me (Oct 2) – Girl meets mermaid. Mermaid wants to eat girl. Romantic? Maybe. Stressful? Definitely.
  • Alma-chan Wants to Be a Family! (Oct 5) – Imagine building an AI who calls you “mom and dad,” can vaporize tanks, and just wants hugs. Sounds like every JRPG escort quest ever.

And don’t worry, the big hitters like One Piece, Gachiakuta, and TOUGEN ANKI will keep powering through the season too.

🍂 Final Thoughts

This Fall 2025 lineup is a buffet: action-packed finales, wholesome rom-coms, quirky isekai, and some truly “only in anime” concepts (seriously, monster meat banquets?). Whether you’re in it for Deku’s last stand, Anya’s smug faces, or a vampire who needs blood-drinking lessons, there’s plenty to binge.

So grab your snacks, charge your devices, and get ready: anime autumn has arrived.
