It\u2019s happening. Insomniac Games confirmed on 21 August that Marvel\u2019s Wolverine has officially gone gold<\/strong>, meaning development is complete and the September 15, 2026<\/strong> PS5 launch is absolutely locked in. No more will-it-slip anxiety \u2014 Wolverine is ready.<\/p>\n

Marvel\u2019s Wolverine Certified Gold<\/h2>\n

Going gold is the final milestone before a game ships: the master build is done, discs are going to print, and the digital version is ready to stage on storefronts. Insomniac made the call on their socials with a shot of Logan holding \u2014 naturally \u2014 gold claws. Those gold claws are also in the game: they\u2019re an unlockable in-game cosmetic<\/strong> players can earn.<\/p>\n

The full 1.0 version of the game will be on the physical PS5 disc when it ships, but Insomniac has confirmed a day-one patch will be required<\/strong> via download before you start playing. Budget a few minutes for it on launch night. The game itself runs at 60 fps on PS5<\/strong> \u2014 a step up from the open-world juggle of the Spider-Man titles.<\/p>\n

As we covered when the bundle was revealed<\/a>, Singapore players can grab the Battle Yellow Limited Edition PS5 Digital Edition Bundle from SGD\u00a0849, with pre-orders open since 19 August at direct.playstation.com and major game retailers. The Battle Yellow DualSense and PS5 console covers are also available separately.<\/p>\n

Five Alternate Suits in the Digital Deluxe Edition<\/h2>\n

Alongside the gold announcement, Insomniac released a new trailer spotlighting the Digital Deluxe Edition<\/strong>. Five exclusive suits are in the package:<\/p>\n

  • New Leather<\/strong> \u2014 classic comics look, modernised<\/li>\n

  • Savage<\/strong> \u2014 an original design, artwork by Adam Kubert<\/li>\n
  • Night Hunt<\/strong> \u2014 another original, artwork by Iban Coello<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Digital Deluxe also adds five unique adamantium claw variants<\/strong> (Smooth-Edged, Hollow Blade, Serrated Spine, Tapered, Thick) and three extra technique points<\/strong> to give you a head start on your build. Standard edition owners can upgrade separately.<\/p>\n
