A desperate wish, <em>\u201cI don\u2019t want to die,\u201d<\/em> gave power to the Evil God. Eight billion human beings were sacrificed, leaving only a handful of survivors condemned to be toyed with as playthings of that god.<\/p>\n<p>At the centre of the story are two sisters. Eva \u2014 voiced by Iori Saeki \u2014 is the older sister, unable to walk since birth. Epica \u2014 voiced by Yukari Anzai \u2014 is the younger, described as the world\u2019s strongest blood warrior, whose very soul has been stolen. Seiji Kishi directs, bringing the same instinct for character-driven darkness that shaped <em>Persona 4 The Animation<\/em>, <em>Assassination Classroom<\/em>, and <em>Angel Beats!<\/em>. Scripts are by Makoto Uezu, his long-standing collaborator on all three of those titles. Original character designs come from illustrator LAM, whose sharp, stylised work suits the anime\u2019s blood-and-shadow aesthetic perfectly. Animation production is by Polygon Pictures, known for the distinct 3D CG style they brought to <em>Blame!<\/em>, <em>Knights of Sidonia<\/em>, and the <em>GODZILLA<\/em> anime trilogy.<\/p>\n<p>Most striking for Singapore gamers and anime fans alike: the music is co-composed by <strong>Keiichi Okabe<\/strong>, one of the creative minds behind the <em>NieR: Automata<\/em> and <em>NieR: Replicant<\/em> soundtracks. He is joined by Kuniyuki Takahashi and Taichi J\u014draku. If <em>Maiden Blood<\/em> carries even a fraction of those games\u2019 haunting atmosphere into its score, the audio alone is reason to watch.<\/p>\n<h2>When Can Singapore Fans Watch It?<\/h2>\n<p>A 2027 premiere window is confirmed; the specific season and international streaming details have not yet been announced. Pony Canyon stated that global distribution information will follow separately. Polygon Pictures titles have a solid track record on international platforms \u2014 <em>Blame!<\/em> went to Netflix globally \u2014 so an announcement covering Singapore availability should not be far behind.
