Hours before the Pokopia World Championships showcase on 21 August 2026<\/strong>, the official Pok\u00e9mon social channels pushed out a block of artwork drawn directly from Pok\u00e9mon HeartGold<\/em> and SoulSilver<\/em> \u2014 the beloved 2009 Johto remakes \u2014 with nothing but a Pok\u00e9 Ball emoji as a caption. No announcement. No trailer. Just Ho-Oh, Lugia, and a thousand questions.<\/p>\n

Nintendo has used this playbook before. A faithful port with HD textures and gyroscope-powered Pok\u00e9walker functionality would be the conservative read; a full remake in the style of Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is the more exciting possibility.<\/p>\n
