It is 170cm tall \u2014 the same height as the character \u2014 and for the next eight weeks you can camp beside it.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Frieren glamping<\/strong> collaboration between TV anime <em>Frieren: Beyond Journey&#8217;s End<\/em> and Chiba&#8217;s \u8fb2\u5712\u30ea\u30be\u30fc\u30c8 THE FARM has been running since 17 July, and it closes on <strong>16 October 2026<\/strong>. It is called \u300e\u601d\u3044\u51fa\u3092\u7d21\u3050\u3001\u661f\u3068\u711a\u304d\u706b\u306e\u65c5\u8def\u300f \u2014 roughly, &#8220;a journey of stars and campfires, weaving memories&#8221; \u2014 and it is easily the most thoroughly built anime collab stay Japan has put up this year.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/20935-246-c4d5a71658ee0e6e4dad6b5180eb304d-1200x900-1.png?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Guests sit around a campfire overlooking illuminated glamping tents at THE FARM during the Frieren collaboration\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><figcaption>Image courtesy of THE FARM<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>What the Frieren glamping collab actually is<\/h2>\n<p>THE FARM is a 100,000-square-metre working farm resort in Katori City, Chiba \u2014 bigger than two Tokyo Domes, and one of the Kanto region&#8217;s largest glamping sites. For this collab, <strong>all 32 glamping tents<\/strong> have been converted into Frieren rooms, and the entire glamping zone has been redressed as a frontier village from the series.<\/p>\n<p>One thing to get straight before you plan anything: during the collab period, <strong>the glamping area is open to overnight guests only<\/strong>. There is no day-trip ticket, no walk-in photo pass. Stark&#8217;s battle axe is there and is reportedly properly heavy. So are Frieren&#8217;s and Fern&#8217;s staffs, the Holy Staff insignia Frieren wears, and the Dark Dragon horn Himmel held onto for fifty years. It sits in a stone dungeon room lit by torches, with a sign reading \u300c\u6697\u3044\u3088\uff01\uff01\u6016\u3044\u3088\uff01\uff01\u300d\u2014 &#8220;It&#8217;s dark!! At the entrance is a life-size recreation of the moment Himmel slips a ring onto Frieren&#8217;s finger, planted in a bed of blue flowers. At the fireplace plaza in the middle of the village stands Himmel himself \u2014 built in FRP at the character&#8217;s canonical 170cm, mounted on a 1.5m plinth so you look up at him, and finished with an aged copper patina to sell the fifty years that pass in the story. At night it is lit from below and ringed with bunting.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/20935-246-05c5c57c667bd1a64a5330cba7c51111-2048x1542-1.jpg?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"The Himmel statue at THE FARM lit from below at night beneath strings of festival lights\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><figcaption>Image courtesy of THE FARM<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Speaking to <a href=\"https:\/\/game.watch.impress.co.jp\/docs\/preview\/2124657.html\">GAME Watch<\/a> (Japanese), Nippon Television Art president Hideki Suzue said the idea came from a visit to THE FARM roughly two years ago \u2014 a campfire under open sky reminded him of the starlit festival in <em>Frieren<\/em>. Art director Kohchi Takao, who handled the physical build, told the same outlet he refused to simply place objects around the grounds and wanted every prop to sit in real context. Nippon Television took a capital stake in THE FARM in March 2024, which is how the project got off the ground.<\/p>\n<h2>Nights: the village festival, and the pudding<\/h2>\n<p>From 18:00 to 20:00 every evening the plaza runs a village festival \u2014 free roasted marshmallows and sausages, THE FARM&#8217;s own craft beer served in barrel-shaped mugs, and stalls with local makers and fortune tellers. Dessert is the bit fans will care about: <strong>Mercoura-style pudding<\/strong>, Frieren&#8217;s favourite, which you assemble yourself. Milk pudding onto the plate, berry sauce over it, blueberries and raspberries on top, then a character flag \u2014 Frieren and Himmel, or Fern and Stark. Each tent gets three commemorative postcards out of it.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/20935-246-7a3b27abcb245cd895bca56999799303-2048x1542-1.jpg?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Two Mercoura-style milk puddings with berry sauce and Frieren character flags served on wooden boards\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><figcaption>Image courtesy of THE FARM<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>There&#8217;s also a strike-out game built around the &#8220;Iciest Rock&#8221; Fern trained her magic on: three throws with spell-patterned balls, and hitting the target earns you a grimoire clear file and, per the organisers, credentials as someone who hit the rock.<\/p>\n<h2>The rooms<\/h2>\n<p>The tents are air-conditioned and bedded like hotel rooms \u2014 the &#8220;glamping&#8221; part is not a euphemism. Bedding carries the meteor-shower pattern from the series, cushions are printed with the Zoltraak spell circle, and each tent flies a character flag outside. The detail that lands best: every room has a spellbook-styled guest logbook that stays with the tent, so you read what previous guests wrote and leave something for whoever comes next.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/20935-246-fcd7a5eec8c8496300a2ef92657820a5-2048x1542-1.jpg?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Guests relax inside a Frieren collaboration glamping tent with meteor-pattern bedding and a spellbook-styled guest logbook\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><figcaption>Image courtesy of THE FARM<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Mornings are a vegetable harvest in the farm&#8217;s gardens and a buffet breakfast, and the on-site onsen \u304b\u308a\u3093\u306e\u6e6f has a sauna plus a manga corner stocked with the complete <em>Frieren<\/em> run.<\/p>\n<h2>Merch, and what only guests can buy<\/h2>\n<p>The limited goods lineup went on sale in August. Trading items come in six-character sets: can badges at \u00a5495 each or \u00a52,970 a box, acrylic stands at \u00a5770 \/ \u00a54,620, acrylic keychains at \u00a5880 \/ \u00a55,280. Singles include a clear file at \u00a5440, die-cut stickers at \u00a5440, a hologram sticker at \u00a5660, a tenugui at \u00a5880, a four-flag sticker set at \u00a51,100, and character hair ties at \u00a5550.<\/p>\n<p>Five items are <strong>advance-sale exclusives for overnight guests<\/strong>: the tote bag (\u00a52,750), the wide-bottom pouch (\u00a52,640), the key visual T-shirt (\u00a55,500, S\u2013XL), and the one everyone photographs \u2014 the <strong>Frieren towel cap at \u00a53,300<\/strong>, which gives you her hair and her flat expression on your head.<\/p>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/20935-216-c37efe798b49123c7b29bb1c103adc69-1680x2380-1.png?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"The full Frieren x THE FARM limited goods lineup chart with prices in yen\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><figcaption>Image courtesy of THE FARM<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Getting there from Singapore<\/h2>\n<p>This is the part that makes the collab unusually practical for us. THE FARM is a Narita-adjacent property, not a Tokyo one \u2014 and Singapore&#8217;s flights to Narita put you within reach of it before you&#8217;ve even gone into the city.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>From Narita Airport:<\/strong> roughly 25 minutes by car. There&#8217;s also a direct local bus from Terminal 2, stop 4, three times a day, taking about 40 minutes at \u00a5700 for adults and \u00a5350 for primary-school children \u2014 cash only, no reservation.<\/li>\n<li><strong>From Tokyo Station:<\/strong> about 90 minutes by car, or the Keisei express bus to Kurimoto (\u00a52,000 adult \/ \u00a51,000 child) and then THE FARM&#8217;s free shuttle, which needs no booking.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Address:<\/strong> \u3012287-0103 \u5343\u8449\u770c\u9999\u53d6\u5e02\u897f\u7530\u90e81309-29. Parking is free.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Two logistics warnings worth taking seriously. There is no convenience store or supermarket nearby, so buy what you need before you arrive. And the tents don&#8217;t have their own toilets \u2014 the facilities are shared.<\/p>\n<h2>Booking, prices and the clock<\/h2>\n<p>The plan is <strong>THE FARM BBQ Plan, one night with two meals<\/strong>, booked through THE FARM&#8217;s reservation system. Check-in runs 14:00\u201319:00 and check-out is by 11:00. A solo-traveller version was added on 8 June for people who&#8217;d rather do the campfire-and-stars thing at their own pace, which is a rare thing to see on a glamping plan.<\/p>\n<p>THE FARM lists its glamping rooms from <strong>\u00a59,900 per person per night<\/strong> for the entry-level Riverside tent (sleeps four), through the Family Suite (sleeps five, from \u00a514,740), up to Gran Terrace at \u00a524,310. The exact collab rate moves with the date and room grade, so check the booking page for your dates rather than budgeting off the headline figure.
