What Is POK\u00c9TOON?<\/h2>\n

POK\u00c9TOON is an anthology of short animated films produced by The Pok\u00e9mon Company, each one putting a single Pok\u00e9mon at the centre of a self-contained story. Episodes run anywhere from a few minutes to roughly fifteen minutes, and each one is drawn in a distinctive visual style \u2014 no two look quite the same. Past entries have starred Scraggy & Mimikyu, Gengar, Chansey, and more recently Gardevoir and Altaria. They debut on the official Japanese Pok\u00e9mon YouTube channel and typically land on the Pok\u00e9mon South Asia Official<\/a> channel in English shortly after \u2014 so Singapore fans can catch them dubbed as well. It is one of the most charming corners of the Pok\u00e9mon franchise, and completely free to watch.<\/p>\n

Fitting for mid-August, the story follows Wartortle through the waning days of summer \u2014 details beyond the title have been kept under wraps, which is part of the fun. Mabosstiff made its main series debut in Pok\u00e9mon Scarlet and Violet<\/em>, where it was Arven’s beloved partner \u2014 so seeing it get its own POK\u00c9TOON spotlight should resonate with anyone who played through that game’s story. Whimsicott, meanwhile, is a fan favourite for its impish personality, making the pairing feel tailor-made for comedy.<\/p>\n

Both episodes are free to watch on YouTube with no regional restrictions.
