What Is FFXIV Moonfire Faire 2026?<\/h2>\n

Moonfire Faire is FFXIV’s recurring summer seasonal event, set at the sun-soaked shores of Costa del Sol<\/strong> in La Noscea. This year’s theme is “Summer Blues? Ride a Pleasure Cruise!”<\/em> \u2014 a celebration of beach life and water activities, with limited-time rewards you can only earn during the event window. Miss it and you’ll need to wait for items to appear on the FFXIV Online Store after the event closes.<\/p>\n

Moonfire Faire 2026 Start Date, End Date, and Access Requirements<\/h2>\n

The event runs from 12 August 2026 (Tuesday) through 26 August 2026 (Wednesday)<\/strong>. For Singapore players it launches in the early morning of 12 August SGT and wraps up on the evening of 26 August SGT.<\/p>\n

You need a character of at least Level 30<\/strong> to participate. Free Trial players on any platform \u2014 including the newly launched Switch 2 version \u2014 can access Moonfire Faire as long as they have met that level threshold. Note that free trial accounts have some restrictions on group content and in-game chat, but the seasonal quests themselves should be accessible.<\/p>\n

How to Start the Moonfire Faire 2026 Quests<\/h2>\n

Head to Limsa Lominsa Upper Decks<\/strong> and find a Lalafell NPC called Mayaru Moyaru<\/strong> at coordinates X:11.5, Y:13.8<\/strong>. She hands out the first quest, “Earning Your Water Wings”<\/em>, which takes around 30 minutes to clear. A second quest, “Whoever Floats Your Raft”<\/em>, becomes available once you’ve finished the first. Both are short narrative quests with no gear or combat wall beyond the level requirement.<\/p>\n
