Blizzard has officially revealed D.Mon’s full ability kit \u2014 and Season 4: Heroes of Busan<\/strong> goes live in Overwatch 2 this Monday, 11 August 2026<\/strong>. The Korean MEKA Squad pilot brings a sword-and-shield combat style that plays nothing like D.Va despite sharing the mech cockpit lineage, and the voice behind her is none other than popular streamer and actress LilyPichu.<\/p>\n

Who Is D.Mon? MEKA’s Leader Steps Out of D.Va’s Shadow<\/h2>\n

Yuna Lee \u2014 callsign D.Mon<\/strong> \u2014 is the leader of South Korea’s MEKA Squad, the same unit D.Va belongs to. In lore, she commands the team’s defensive operations against omnic incursions, and her mech Beast<\/em> reflects a completely different combat philosophy: where D.Va prefers evasive, ranged pressure, D.Mon fights up close with an energy sword and a frontal shield, controlling space through aggression rather than mobility.<\/p>\n

She is classified as a Tank hero and carries the Stalwart sub-role, which reduces the effect of slows and knockbacks \u2014 a fitting passive for a character who is meant to hold the frontline while her squad presses through.<\/p>\n

  • Plasma Saber (primary weapon)<\/strong> \u2014 A fast energy melee weapon for close-range fights. The saber hits fuel the Beast Within<\/em> perk, which heals the Power Barrier by 40 health per hit.<\/li>\n
  • Portable Fusion Repeater (secondary weapon)<\/strong> \u2014 A heavy machine gun for ranged pressure when closing in is not an option. The Focused Fusion<\/em> perk trades fire rate for higher damage-per-shot with no spread.<\/li>\n
  • Power Barrier<\/strong> \u2014 A deployable frontal energy shield, similar in concept to Reinhardt’s but sized and shaped for a single pilot. It blocks incoming projectiles while D.Mon fights through it.<\/li>\n
  • Propulsors<\/strong> \u2014 Fuel-based surges in any horizontal direction. Useful for repositioning or closing distance quickly. The MEKA Mobility<\/em> perk cuts fuel cost by 30% when holding the barrier.<\/li>\n
  • Surging Strike<\/strong> \u2014 While Power Barrier is deployed, D.Mon lunges forward and pushes enemies back. With the Overstrike<\/em> perk, this attack gains 150% lifesteal.<\/li>\n
