Admission to the Nintendo booth is free, and the full lineup covers first-party Nintendo titles alongside some of the biggest third-party games coming to the platform this year:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>007 First Light<\/li>\n<li>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4<\/li>\n<li>EA Sports FC 27<\/li>\n<li>Metaphor: ReFantazio<\/li>\n<li>Minecraft Dungeons 2<\/li>\n<li>Nintendo Switch Sports Resort<\/li>\n<li>Orbitals<\/li>\n<li>Pok\u00e9mon Pokopia (Bubbly Basin Expansion Pass)<\/li>\n<li>Splatoon Raiders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/007-first-light-key-art-reviews.jpg?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"007 First Light review scores and key art\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><figcaption>Image courtesy of IO Interactive<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Nintendo also noted that &#8220;and more&#8221; titles are possible, leaving the door open for surprises ahead of the company&#8217;s financial results this week.<\/p>\n<h2>007 First Light on Switch 2 \u2014 First Public Demo, and a September Date Lurking<\/h2>\n<p>007 First Light launched on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on 27 May 2026 to exceptional reviews \u2014 the IO Interactive-developed origin story earned 9s and 10s across major outlets and sits as one of the year&#8217;s best-reviewed games. The Switch 2 version has been delayed twice since its initial March window, and up until Gamescom no Switch 2 footage has been released publicly. That changes in Cologne, where attendees will get hands-on time with a build IO Interactive has not yet shown the world.<\/p>\n<p>What makes this particularly interesting for Switch 2 owners in Singapore: Amazon Japan&#8217;s listing for the physical Switch 2 edition of 007 First Light currently shows a <a href=\"https:\/\/screenrant.com\/007-first-light-switch-2-release-date-leak\/\">September 16, 2026 release date<\/a>. IO Interactive has not officially confirmed this date, and Amazon Japan retailer listings are known to use placeholder dates \u2014 but a mid-month placeholder is unusual enough that it warrants watching. If September 16 holds, Switch 2 players would only have a six-week wait from Gamescom to launch. IO Interactive previously committed to a &#8220;before end of year&#8221; window for the Switch 2 version.<\/p>\n<p>The Switch 2 physical copy, when it ships, will use a Game-Key Card format \u2014 a new Nintendo format that functions as a download license rather than containing onboard game data.<\/p>\n<h2>Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 \u2014 CoD Back on Nintendo Hardware After 13 Years<\/h2>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/cod-mw4-korean-soldier-burning-city.jpg?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 Korean soldier\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><figcaption>Image courtesy of Activision \/ Infinity Ward<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The last Call of Duty game on a Nintendo platform was 2013&#8217;s <em>Call of Duty: Ghosts<\/em> on Wii U. Modern Warfare 4 ends that 13-year gap, and it does so as a genuinely native port \u2014 not cloud-streamed. Infinity Ward co-developed the Switch 2 version alongside Digital Legends, running directly on the hardware powered by NVIDIA&#8217;s DLSS-lite processing in the Switch 2&#8217;s chip.<\/p>\n<p>The feature set confirmed for the Switch 2 version is the full package:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Joy-Con 2 mouse controls<\/strong> \u2014 optional, for precision aiming without a desk required<\/li>\n<li><strong>Full cross-play<\/strong> \u2014 matched into the same lobbies as PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC players<\/li>\n<li><strong>Cross-progression<\/strong> \u2014 loadouts, unlocks, and battle pass progress carry across platforms<\/li>\n<li><strong>Modes<\/strong> \u2014 Campaign, Multiplayer, and DMZ all included<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/www.gametrader.sg\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/08\/cod-mw4-soldier-vehicle-interior.jpg?w=474&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Call of Duty Modern Warfare 4 soldier vehicle\" data-recalc-dims=\"1\" \/><figcaption>Image courtesy of Activision \/ Infinity Ward<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Modern Warfare 4&#8217;s campaign follows a young South Korean squad on collapsing front lines while Captain Price wages a personal war on the other side of the world. Metaphor: ReFantazio \u2014 the Atlus JRPG that swept awards in 2024 \u2014 arrives on Switch 2 on <a href=\"\/blog\/metaphor-refantazio-switch-2-november-2026\/\">12 November 2026<\/a>. Pok\u00e9mon Pokopia&#8217;s Bubbly Basin expansion, the paid DLC that launched on 5 August, will be playable at the booth. <a href=\"\/blog\/orbitals-switch-2-september-2026\/\">Orbitals<\/a>, the fast-paced arena shooter confirmed for Switch 2 last month, also makes the list. Splatoon Raiders, Minecraft Dungeons 2, Nintendo Switch Sports Resort, and EA Sports FC 27 complete the nine confirmed titles.<\/p>\n<p>For Singapore Switch 2 owners, the picture coming out of Gamescom 2026 is unusually rich: two of the world&#8217;s biggest gaming franchises \u2014 James Bond and Call of Duty \u2014 both arriving on the platform within weeks of each other, both natively, both with global cross-play. The question of <em>when<\/em> for 007 First Light should get an official answer soon, whether at Gamescom itself or just before it.
