The game is set roughly 250 years after Three Houses’s story concludes, and the connection goes deeper than geography. The goddess Sothis, whose consciousness awakened within Byleth in that game, returns in Fortune’s Weave and sings the new game’s theme song. Your mission is to travel back to the era of the Heroic Games and change the fates of Cai, Dietrich, Theodora, and Leda before the catastrophe of 1454 becomes permanent.

That time-rewind mechanic extends directly into battles. Fortuna’s Blessing lets players roll back to any earlier moment in a fight to try a different approach — a flexible alternative to the series’s classic permadeath that should make difficult encounters more approachable without eliminating the tension entirely.

Classes, Weapons, and Blaze Arts

The class system has three tiers. Six weapon categories are in play: swords, gauntlets, spears, axes, bows, and magic, including exotic variants such as lightning swords and firearm-styled gauntlets.

Two combat systems stand out. Combat Arts are familiar to series veterans — powerful strikes that consume weapon durability. Blaze Arts are new: high-risk special moves that cost the user’s own HP, forcing a real-time trade-off between offensive power and survivability within the same turn. Between battles, free-time segments in the city of Dagsion and a World Map allow training, shopping, temple visits, side quests, and dungeon dives for gear and recruitable units.

Dagdan Collection and What Singapore Players Should Budget

Two editions launch on September 17 on Nintendo Switch 2:

Standard Edition — US$69.99 (digital and physical)

Dagdan Collection — US$119.99, a physical bundle that includes a steel case, art cards, a map of Dagdan, and a full artbook

SGD pricing has not yet been confirmed by Nintendo Singapore — expect it to appear on the regional eShop as September 17 approaches.
