Season 3 of Chained Soldier<\/strong> (\u9b54\u90fd\u7cbe\u5175\u306e\u30b9\u30ec\u30a4\u30d6, Mato Seihei no Slave<\/em>) is officially happening. The announcement came during a special live event celebrating the series’ second season on Sunday, 2 August 2026 \u2014 and it confirms that Yuuki Wakura, Ky\u014dka Uzen and the rest of the Mato Defence Force will be returning for another chapter.<\/p>\n

The third season was announced at a dedicated anime event on 2 August 2026, as reported by Anime News Network<\/a>. An announcement video and a new visual were shown to attendees. Season 2’s character designer Keiya Nakano<\/strong> also contributed a special celebratory illustration to mark the occasion.<\/p>\n

Production specifics \u2014 including the studio, director, casting updates, and a premiere window \u2014 have not yet been disclosed. Further details are expected in the months ahead as production ramps up.<\/p>\n

For anyone who hasn’t jumped in yet, here’s the quick catch-up. Season 1<\/strong> aired January\u2013March 2024, produced by Seven Arcs<\/strong>. The series is set in a world where a supernatural dimension called Mato<\/em> has torn open alongside Japan, unleashing demon beasts that only women who have eaten the mysterious Peaches of Mato can fight. Yuuki Wakura<\/strong> is an ordinary high-school boy with the rare and coveted ability to transform into a powerful beast \u2014 which makes him the contracted “slave” of the elite Seventh Unit commander, Ky\u014dka Uzen<\/strong>. The series adapts the manga by Takahiro Wakamatsu (story) and Y\u016bki Takemura (art), serialised in Shueisha’s Weekly Young Jump<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Season 2<\/strong>, produced by Passione<\/strong> and Hayabusa Film<\/strong>, aired January\u2013March 2026 and escalated things considerably \u2014 more of the Seven Great Demon Lords, deeper commander lore, and a much higher-stakes power struggle within the Mato Defence Force.<\/p>\n

Both seasons are available to stream on HIDIVE<\/strong>, which simulcasts the series for Singapore and Southeast Asia, with an English dub also on the platform.<\/p>\n
