MAPPA\u2019s Ranma \u00bd<\/em> revival has a date locked in: 3 October 2026<\/strong>. The third season hits NTV in Japan every Saturday at 24:55 \u2014 and streams exclusively on Netflix globally from the same night, putting Singapore fans right at the front of the queue alongside Japanese viewers.<\/p>\n

Official Japanese media confirmed the premiere date and a wave of new casting on 25 July 2026 via Denfaminicogamer<\/a> (Japanese) and PASH! Plus<\/a> (Japanese). As we covered when Season 3\u2019s second trailer dropped in June<\/a>, the show was still listing only \u201cOctober 2026\u201d \u2014 now there\u2019s a concrete date and a lineup of new faces to go with it.<\/p>\n

Five Legendary Voice Actors Join Ranma \u00bd Season 3<\/h2>\n

The returning core cast \u2014 Kappei Yamaguchi as Ranma, Megumi Hayashibara as female Ranma, and Noriko Hidaka as Akane \u2014 is joined by five new voice actors stepping into Season 3 roles:<\/p>\n

  • Jun Fukuyama<\/strong> plays Daitokuji Sentar\u014d<\/em> (\u5927\u6587\u5b57\u714e\u592a\u90ce), a recurring martial-arts teacher from Rumiko Takahashi\u2019s original manga. Fukuyama is best known to Singapore fans as Lelouch Lamperouge in Code Geass<\/em>.<\/li>\n
  • Mayumi Tanaka<\/strong> joins in a role whose name has not yet been revealed. Tanaka has been the voice of Monkey D. Luffy in One Piece<\/em> since 1999 and also voiced Krillin in Dragon Ball<\/em> \u2014 making this a reunion of two golden-age shonen titans in one cast.<\/li>\n
  • Saori Hayami<\/strong> also takes on a to-be-announced character. Singapore fans will know Hayami from My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU<\/em> and One Piece<\/em>.<\/li>\n

    Having Masako Nozawa and Mayumi Tanaka in the same cast \u2014 two voice actors whose careers stretch back to the same era as Ranma \u00bd\u2019s 1989 original run \u2014 is the kind of casting that feels written for longtime fans.<\/p>\n

    New Characters and the Season 3 Key Visual<\/h2>\n

    The official key visual released alongside the announcement places Ranma (male and female forms), Akane, and Ry\u014dga at an energetic centre, with a full crowd of Season 3 characters spiralling outward \u2014 classic Takahashi chaos, now in MAPPA\u2019s crisp modern style. It\u2019s a busy, fun image that signals a packed season ahead.<\/p>\n
