First reported by ZDNet Korea and picked up by Nintendo Life<\/a> and Android Authority<\/a> on 14 July 2026, the core claim is this: Nintendo is evaluating whether to source rigid OLED panels from Samsung Display for a revised Switch 2 model. The proposed screen would keep the same 1920\u00d71080 FHD resolution as the current LCD \u2014 no resolution bump \u2014 but OLED technology would bring the richer contrast, deeper blacks, and more vivid colours that fans loved about the original Switch OLED’s 720p display.<\/p>\n
